About: Hi! My name is Sarah and I adore animals, I have had dogs, cats and horses all my life and I understand the importance of the love and care that they receive. I understand animals need love and affection from their caretakers but they also need structure in their life, and it is our job as their caretakers to give them that! I have experience with animals of all shapes and sizes from a litter of kittens, to a 200 lb English Mastiff! The proper handling and care of animals is important to me, and I strive to meet and exceed your expectations. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family members! I work full time and this is a side gig for me to do outside of that job to still interact with animals and do what I love. I work from 7:30 to 2:30 on weekdays (I'm off in the summer months) so I wouldn’t be able to do midday drop ins those days. I like to keep your animals’ daily life as consistent as possible. I try to structure their day so it is consistent with their routines at home, such as walks, medications, meal times, etc. I work 7:30-2:30 on weekdays during the school year, but otherwise I can fit other things around that. I usually feed around 6:30am and anytime in the afternoon. We have a fenced in yard and we go on regular walks, especially at the nature reserve near our place. We have toys, treats, food & water bowls, crates for smaller dogs, dog beds, leashes, etc in case the dog comes over last minute, but we always encourage owners to bring anything that they like with their animals.

“Teresa took excellent care of my three cats! I am pleased with the daily check-in notice, summary, and photos of the cats. All went smoothly when I was out for the weekend! Thank you, Teresa!”

About: Hi! I’m a junior at the University of Pittsburgh and a lifelong animal lover with extensive hands-on experience caring for pets of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. I currently have two dogs: Whiskey, my 6-year-old Yorkie, and Cosmo, my 4-year-old cockapoo. I’ve raised both since they were puppies. I’ve also cared for a golden retriever named Kimba from puppyhood, which gave me valuable experience handling larger, high-energy dogs as well. In addition to dogs, I’ve grown up around a wide variety of animals including goats and chickens, so I’m very comfortable with different environments and levels of care responsibility. Because I’ve personally raised dogs from puppy stage through adulthood, I understand the full range of needs pets can have — from training and leash manners to patience with shy or high-energy personalities. I’m confident handling walks, feeding routines, and multi-pet households. Both of my dogs have needed oral medications before (pills and liquid), so I’m familiar with getting pets to take medicine when needed. I’ve also taken care of goats and helped apply eye and ear medications, so I’m comfortable with administrating treatments. As a college student, I’m responsible with my schedule and only accept bookings I can fully commit to. My priority is making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. 🐾 EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS * Raised and trained multiple dogs from puppyhood * Experience with small and large breeds * Comfortable with leash training, pulling, and energetic dogs * Experienced with shy and anxious pets * Familiar with multi-pet households * Farm animal experience (goats + chickens) * Experienced with giving medication I’m happy to care for pets who may need extra patience, structure, or attention during walks or drop-ins. 🐾 CARE STYLE I focus on making pets feel safe, calm, and comfortable. I always adjust my approach based on the animal. Whether that means more structured walks for high-energy dogs or a gentler, more reassuring approach for shy pets. I also make sure owners feel updated and at ease with clear communication and photos when requested. 🐾 MEET & GREET I’m always happy to do a meet and greet before any booking so I can get to know you, your pets, and their routine to make sure everything goes smoothly. Hope to meet your fur-babies very soon! I’m usually free after 3:30pm on weekdays except Tuesdays. I always make time for my own pets and can adjust my schedule around pet care when needed. Most weekends I have open availability and can be flexible with timing depending on what is needed. I’m good at planning ahead, so I only accept bookings I know I can fully commit to and show up on time for. When caring for pets, my main priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed whether I’m in my home or the client’s home. I always follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions from the owner. I pay close attention to doors, leashes, and overall safety during walks and visits, and I make sure pets are never in stressful or unfamiliar situations unnecessarily. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of the space, keep things clean, and make sure everything is left how it was found. I also give pets calm attention, playtime, and supervision so they feel secure while their owner is away. If any issues come up, I communicate right away so the owner is always informed.
“Kailyn is amazing!! We left our kitties in her care for 9 days, and she took the best care of them! She was very professional and communicated extremely well! There was a snow storm when we were away, and she was great at keeping us updated on road closures and travel difficulties! I would recommend her to anyone who needs their cats or dogs taken care of! We plan on using her services in the future! Our kitties will miss seeing her daily!”

“Cassandra was a wonderful sitter who is motivated to connect with any pet and make them as comfortable as possible. Her communication is excellent, and always provided detailed updates on how our pet was doing without us. She also provided photos with every visit which was extremely helpful. We would definitely reach out to Cassandra to watch our dog again!”

“Stephen is awesome! This was our first time using Rover and his services. His thoroughly written check ins with our pup definitely put us at ease while we were away. He's earned himself a repeat client.”

About: Hi, I’m Matt! Throughout middle school and high school, I volunteered at a local animal rescue, providing care to various dogs. I’ve dog sat for a few people I know personally, providing drop in visits, overnight care and walks. Additionally, I've grown up with dogs, and we currently have three of our own who I’m with every day and love very much. I’m a college student (currently on break from classes) who works part time, so my availability is built around this. This means my week to week availability may not always look the same, but I will leave my schedule open for Rover whenever I can, ensuring I provide your dog with proper care. When caring for your dog in your home, they will always be safe and sound. For drop in visits, I will make sure to follow your dog’s normal routine to ensure their comfort. For walks, I will follow your dog’s pace, while always keeping my hand through the loop of the leash and wrapped around my wrist to keep them secure.

I am looking to help families as another Rover.com pet sitter helped us with our senior dog. I will work with your dog's needs so that you are comfortable leaving and know that I am dedicated to keeping your pet happy and healthy. I have a lot of experience with keeping dogs who miss their families happy! As someone who teaches tiny humans I have a lot of experience in building trust. I know that some dogs have anxiety and I look to you in learning your dog's preferences and individual needs!

Cochranville pet parents share their Rover experiences
We had a great experience with Katherine! She took great care of our pets and was very reliable and communicative. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she watches. We came home to very happy pets and can’t wait to use her again. Highly recommended!!!

Katie is wonderful. She is interactive with our pets (1 dog & 2 cats) and we love getting the photos while we are away to make sure our fur babies are doing well. We even forgot to leave the instruction sheet but Katie remembered what to do from the last time she watched our pets. She also worked with our schedule for a last minute scheduled check in. We recommend her highly!
