About: Hi, I’m Matt! Throughout middle school and high school, I volunteered at a local animal rescue, providing care to various dogs. I’ve dog sat for a few people I know personally, providing drop in visits, overnight care and walks. Additionally, I've grown up with dogs, and we currently have three of our own who I’m with every day and love very much. I’m a college student (currently on break from classes) who works part time, so my availability is built around this. This means my week to week availability may not always look the same, but I will leave my schedule open for Rover whenever I can, ensuring I provide your dog with proper care. When caring for your dog in your home, they will always be safe and sound. For drop in visits, I will make sure to follow your dog’s normal routine to ensure their comfort. For walks, I will follow your dog’s pace, while always keeping my hand through the loop of the leash and wrapped around my wrist to keep them secure.
About: I've vulanteered at lamacha and greenmore farms shelter! I also own a working breed shepherd! Which means I love high working breeds and I have worked with a certified dog trainer who works in behavioral and obedience who I can clarify is very good who I shadowed with :) I have always struggled to fit in with the current job market my autism has never fit in with them whether it's a job I picked up after more then one day or taken me two but I have discovered I do better in pet vulanteering and pet care and after a kennel job that was good for me but not good enough for them I decided I would do better as my own managment especially as a at home dog mom that struggles but I would love to care for your pet and if you are willing to give someone new a shot I am always and will be a genuine honest person to you and your pets and give them love and affection that will leave them happy and tails wagging for your return :) I will give you daily updates whenever you ask videos you name it i am very big on medication if you say your dog needs it at a specific time and I take honesty very VERY seriously if you have specific requirements I will take it largely as I have worked in a kennel and know not all dogs are the same personalities schedule wise and just owning a German shepherd has made me learn that if you have any questions I will be completely willing to answer!
About: I grew up pet sitting for several friends and family members. My family has owned Dobermans, Rottweilers, and huskies throughout the years. My own personal pets are a Belgian Malinois, a standard Poodle, and two cats. About: I’ve taken care of large (120lb+) dogs for a good chunk of my life, as well as medium and small senior dogs. I have extensive experience with cats, especially timid anxious kitties. I also have experience with small animals such as ferrets, hamsters, and rats! There’s no animal that I will not care for and enjoy every second of it I currently work a part time job 9am-1pm, home by 1:15pm. Back in the car heading to pick up my kid by 3:40pm, home by 4:30pm. Available most of the day every Saturday from 9am-3:40. Unavailable Wednesday and Sunday. Having 3 fur babies myself I’m well equipped in calm animal care, currently having a anxious cat myself I am well mannered with boundaries and body language, I have the ability to slip in, scoop boxes, fill bowls, and sneaks out. But also spend as much time as your fur babies might need with them. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
