I am retired from the Army and Retail Distribution. I enjoy my travel time and socializing time, but want to be useful in a way that would absolutely bring me joy. About: Hi, I’m Matt! Throughout middle school and high school, I volunteered at a local animal rescue, providing care to various dogs. I’ve dog sat for a few people I know personally, providing drop in visits, overnight care and walks. Additionally, I've grown up with dogs, and we currently have three of our own who I’m with every day and love very much. About: I’ve taken care of large (120lb+) dogs for a good chunk of my life, as well as medium and small senior dogs. I have extensive experience with cats, especially timid anxious kitties. I also have experience with small animals such as ferrets, hamsters, and rats! There’s no animal that I will not care for and enjoy every second of it I currently work a part time job 9am-1pm, home by 1:15pm. Back in the car heading to pick up my kid by 3:40pm, home by 4:30pm. Available most of the day every Saturday from 9am-3:40. Unavailable Wednesday and Sunday. Having 3 fur babies myself I’m well equipped in calm animal care, currently having a anxious cat myself I am well mannered with boundaries and body language, I have the ability to slip in, scoop boxes, fill bowls, and sneaks out. But also spend as much time as your fur babies might need with them. I am also experienced with dog sitting and walking, having dog sat for multiple breeds of dog and living with a large dog; I’m equipped to walk multiple medium/small or a large dog.

“This is he first time we have ever left our dogs with someone other than our parents. We were extremely nervous, even though this was just a drop in visit. Alyssa met with us the day before and we loved her interactions with the dogs. We knew she would be a good fit. She sent pictures while she was at the house which made us so happy! She spent about an hour at our house even though a visit is technically a half hour. We couldn’t have appreciated that more. About: I have had my home base business for over 20 years and I'm looking to try something new. I have been a dog owner my entire life. I currently have 3 small dogs. I have always loved animals so Rover seems like a great fit. I have a lot of free time heading into the winter. I have a 4 wheel drive vehicle so snow and ice wont stop me. I have 3 dogs. One is 13, one is 2 and the baby is 11 months. I also have 2 grown children who live at home. When I am at home working, my dogs are the shop with me. My shop is a 2 car garage and a fenced in yard. They stay outside with me most of the day with 2 breaks for naps in their private room. In the summer, they have a pool and plenty of shade. Their safely and comfort is important to me as is their need for play time, walks and lots of hugs and scratches. I am used to having a puppy around and cleaning up messes. As your pet sitter, I will never bring my dogs along with me. They have a dad at home to take care of them. My schedule is very flexible and I understand the need for help with pets. My seasonal job requires me to travel in the summer and getting pet sitters is sometimes tricky. I guess I should say, getting a trust worthy pet sitter who is going to deliver on her promises can be tricky.

it was great having a husband and wife team as that is what our dogs are used to and they were more than great I went on a few days vacation the first in a long time because of the 3 dogs however I left without worry and came home to 3 content dogs! I would more then recommend them!
Jordan was wonderful. Our dachshund is extremely nervous around new people. Jordan made him feel comfortable, let him out to potty, fed him dinner, and even got him to play! She sent lots of photos and made sure our dachshund had everything he needed before she left. We will be using her again!
Lauren's care of and communication about our two cats Ed and Kelly while we were on vacation was excellent! She really helped us relax and have a great time knowing the kitties were in good hands. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
