Can I pet that dog?
I’ll probably remember your dog’s name before I remember yours. It’s nothing personal. I’ve had animals most of my life and currently have three dogs and a cat. I’ve raised puppies, cared for senior pets, given medications, and I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. One of my own dogs is dog reactive, so I’m also used to watching body language, managing triggers, and giving dogs the space they need. Mostly, I just really love animals. I go to the National Dog Show every year and visit local shelters in my free time. I’m not allowed to foster anymore because that’s how I kept ending up with more pets of my own. I have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule, so I’m often available for same-day or last-minute visits too. I know plans change, and I’m happy to help when I can.

Safety, trust & environment
I’m big on safety and following your pet’s normal routine. One of my own dogs is reactive, so I’m used to paying attention to body language, managing separate spaces, checking doors and gates, and being aware of our surroundings on walks. I’ll follow whatever instructions you leave, whether that’s feeding, medications, walks, crates, or just making sure a certain door stays closed. I know the little details matter, and I want your pet to feel comfortable while you’re away.

Samantha was always on time and my pup warmed right up to her despite being new to him. She also takes the cutest photos for the Rover card! I’ll be reaching out to her again when my regular sitter/walker is unavailable 🙂
Sam was fantastic. She was great with all our dogs. We have an anxious dog and she was very patient and calm with him. She asked great questions and was attentive to our blind senior dog. She is a great communicator and was quick to respond to our last minute request. We would 100% use Sam again.
Sam has been so patient with our two pups, who can be a little standoffish. She is very kind and gentle with them, and we would recommend her to anyone!
Sam was a great option for my pets while at work. She was super reliable and always on time. I have a reactive dog as well and she worked really well with him understanding how hyper he could be. I was also able to contact her for a last minute drop in which she was able to help me with. Very helpful.
Samantha has been a friend of our family for a few years and has watched our dogs for us before. She’s always been really good with them, and honestly, she just loves animals. She’s the person who notices the dog before she notices the people when she walks into a room. I’ve seen her with her own pets too, and they are her family. They’re truly the center of her world, and she takes the absolute best care of them. She’s always thinking about what they need and making sure they’re happy and taken care of. I’ve never had to worry about leaving our dogs with her, and I’d absolutely trust her with them again.

Schedule
I work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the day. It’s easy for me to step away for a walk or drop-in, and I’m often available on short notice. Whether you’re stuck in a late meeting, heading out for date night, or just need someone to check in during a long day away, I can usually work a visit into my schedule. Plus, I’m always happy for an excuse to get away from my desk and hang out with an animal for a while.

- The more I know about your pet, the better! Let me know about any medications, health or behavioral concerns, triggers, and anything else that will help me keep them comfortable. I’d also love to know their normal routine and any little quirks I should know about. For drop-ins, I prefer a quick meet-and-greet at your home when possible so your pet can meet me and you can show me their routine and where everything is. I just ask that pets are up to date on their rabies vaccine.
