A Typical Day at Our Retreat Because we manage a "pack" environment, our day is built on a high-energy/low-energy rhythm that keeps the dogs calm and happy. • 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Morning Wake-Up & Breakfast Individual potty breaks followed by breakfast. For safety and peace of mind, all dogs are fed separately. • 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Supervised Yard Rotations This is prime play time! We have supervised sessions in our large fenced backyard. High-energy "athletes" get to run, while our seniors enjoy a sunbath at their own pace. • 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Mid-Day (Nap Time) After a busy morning, the house settles down for nap time. This structured rest prevents over-stimulation and keeps the "pack energy" balanced. • 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Afternoon Play & Socialization More yard time and indoor snuggles with our family and 6 children. There is always someone home to provide belly rubs and attention. • 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Dinner & Evening Potty Breaks Evening meals (fed individually) and a final round of yard time to burn off that last bit of energy. • 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Wind Down & Cuddles The pack settles in for the night. Whether they are sleeping in a crate or a cozy dog bed, they are monitored and tucked in for a good night's rest.

Professional Oversight & Medical Safety With my background as a Veterinary Technician, safety is the lens through which I view everything. I perform "nose-to-tail" wellness checks on my guests daily, monitoring hydration, appetite, and bathroom habits. Because I am home full-time with my husband and our 6 children, your dog is under constant, active supervision. We don't just "watch" dogs; we manage their well-being. The "Rotational" Environment Our home is designed for high-capacity safety. We utilize a structured rotation system to ensure every dog gets the right type of interaction: • Feeding Security: We have a zero-risk feeding policy. All dogs are fed separately. This eliminates resource guarding and ensures that every dog eats exactly what they are supposed to (and gets their specific medications) without interference. • The “Nap” Zone: We utilize crates and gated zones for "decompression breaks." In a busy house, these scheduled rest periods are vital for keeping the pack's stress levels low and preventing over-stimulation. A Secure & Active Yard Our large backyard is fully fenced and double-checked daily for integrity. Whether your dog is playing fetch with our kids or lounging with our resident Lab and Husky, they are always within eyesight of an adult. Trust Built Over a Decade We have been boarding for 10 years and have safely managed multiple dogs. We are comfortable with all temperaments and medical needs. We treat your "fur baby" like a temporary member of our large, loving family, backed by the expertise of a seasoned professional.

1. Social Temperament & Children Because we are a large family with 6 children and a rotating pack of furry friends, it is vital that your dog is comfortable in a high-activity environment. Please let us know if they have had positive experiences with children and other dogs in the past. 2. Medical History & Current Needs Given my veterinary technician background, I am very comfortable with medical care. Please list any current medications, dosage instructions, and any "clinical" quirks (e.g., history of seizures, allergies, or joint issues). We do offer medication administration as an add-on service! 3. Feeding & Resource Guarding We prioritize safety by feeding all dogs individually. Please let us know: • Is your dog comfortable being crated for meals? • Do they have any history of "resource guarding" (protecting food or toys)? • Are there any specific treats or foods they must avoid? 4. The "Resident Pack" Compatibility Our resident Lab, Husky, and cat are very welcoming, but we want to make sure your dog feels the same! Please mention if your dog has a high "prey drive" (regarding our cat) or any specific breed-preferences. 5. Preventative Health For the safety of everyone in the house, all dogs must be current on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. 6. Daily Habits Does your dog have a “zoomie period” where they get extra energetic? Are they scared of thunderstorms? The more I know about their personality, the better I can curate their rotations and keep them feeling secure!

A Day in the Life: The Doggy Vacation We believe that boarding should be a "vacation" for your dog, not just a stay. Because we have a large family and a rotating pack, your dog’s day is filled with social stimulation, yard time, and plenty of "human" interaction. The Morning "Zoomies" & Sunbathing: Every morning starts with fresh air! We head out to our large fenced yard for our first rotation of the day. Whether it’s playing tag with our Husky or just sniffing the perimeter with our Lab, the dogs get to start their day with movement. The "Snuggle & Nap" Rhythm: After breakfast and some playtime, we head inside for "Nap Time." This is where your dog gets to be part of our family. With 6 kids in the house, there is never a shortage of someone willing to give a belly rub or offer a cozy lap for a nap. We find that dogs settle into our "family rhythm" incredibly fast! Interactive Play & Enrichment: We don’t just let the dogs sit in the yard; we engage with them! • Yard Games: Supervised fetch, "follow the leader," and group exploration. • Rotational Socializing: We carefully pair up "best friends" so dogs can play with buddies who match their energy level. • Quiet Enrichment: For our seniors or less active guests, we offer plenty of head scratches and quiet "porch time" to watch the action without the chaos. Evening Wind-Down: As the sun goes down, so does the energy of the pack. We finish the day with a final "business trip" to the yard and then settle in for evening snuggles. Because I’m a former Vet Tech, I do a final "nose-to-tail" check on everyone before bed to make sure they are happy, hydrated, and ready for a good night's sleep. Your pet won't just be "staying" here—they’ll be part of the family!

Experiencia en el cuidado de mascotas
Professional-Grade Care for Every Member of Your Pack. Why choose us? We offer something most sitters can't: a decade of professional boarding experience combined with Alyssa’s extensive background as a Veterinary Technician. Even though I’ve transitioned from the clinic to being home full-time with our 6 children, my medical training is always "on." I have the clinical eye to spot health changes early and the technical skill to handle complex care. The "Safe Pack" Advantage: With a large family and our own resident pack (1 Lab, 1 Husky, 1 Cat), we are experts at "The Flow." We have successfully managed multiple dogs at once and maintain a consistent, calm environment through: • Clinical Observation: My vet tech experience means I’m constantly monitoring for hydration, stress levels, and GI health. • Expert Med Administration: Whether it’s simple pills or more involved medical needs, we treat your pet’s health as our top priority (available as an add-on service). • Safety-First Feeding: We feed all guests separately in crates to ensure everyone eats their own food in peace. • Supervised Yard Rotations: Our large fenced yard is used for structured, supervised play sessions tailored to your dog’s energy level. We are the go-to home for long-term boarders (1–2 weeks) and multi-dog families. We’re home all day, providing constant supervision and plenty of "large-family" love. Please ensure your dog is on a flea preventative and let us know about their specific medical history and routine during booking.
