About: My love for animals of all kinds began in 6th grade and has only become more expansive as I have continued to care for the pets of my friends and neighbors. My senior dog is almost 18 years young so I am well versed in going above and beyond! As an educator my timing is flexible, especially for summer! About: Hi! I’m a junior at the University of Pittsburgh and a lifelong animal lover with extensive hands-on experience caring for pets of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. I currently have two dogs: Whiskey, my 6-year-old Yorkie, and Cosmo, my 4-year-old cockapoo. I’ve raised both since they were puppies. I’ve also cared for a golden retriever named Kimba from puppyhood, which gave me valuable experience handling larger, high-energy dogs as well. In addition to dogs, I’ve grown up around a wide variety of animals including goats and chickens, so I’m very comfortable with different environments and levels of care responsibility. Hope to meet your fur-babies very soon! I’m usually free after 3:30pm on weekdays except Tuesdays. I always make time for my own pets and can adjust my schedule around pet care when needed. Most weekends I have open availability and can be flexible with timing depending on what is needed. I’m good at planning ahead, so I only accept bookings I know I can fully commit to and show up on time for. When caring for pets, my main priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed whether I’m in my home or the client’s home. I always follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions from the owner. I pay close attention to doors, leashes, and overall safety during walks and visits, and I make sure pets are never in stressful or unfamiliar situations unnecessarily. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of the space, keep things clean, and make sure everything is left how it was found. I also give pets calm attention, playtime, and supervision so they feel secure while their owner is away. If any issues come up, I communicate right away so the owner is always informed.

About: I have been a consistent volunteer with multiple shelters and a pet sitter over the past 4 years taking care of animals of different backgrounds. The space is separate from other areas, so pets can relax without stress or noise. I keep things calm and clean, with soft beds, fresh water, and a peaceful atmosphere. About: I have taken care of different types of animals for most of my life, including large and small dogs, cats, small pets like hamsters and rabbits, as well as chickens. I am experienced in dispensing medication, feeding, walking, and following special instructions. I'm currently working part time, but have plenty of time to care for pets. I can do drop in visits as well as staying overnight. Due to having many animals at home, I am not able to board in my own home. About: Hi! My name is Sarah and I adore animals, I have had dogs, cats and horses all my life and I understand the importance of the love and care that they receive. I understand animals need love and affection from their caretakers but they also need structure in their life, and it is our job as their caretakers to give them that! I have experience with animals of all shapes and sizes from a litter of kittens, to a 200 lb English Mastiff! The proper handling and care of animals is important to me, and I strive to meet and exceed your expectations. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family members! I work full time and this is a side gig for me to do outside of that job to still interact with animals and do what I love. I work from 7:30 to 2:30 on weekdays (I'm off in the summer months) so I wouldn’t be able to do midday drop ins those days. I like to keep your animals’ daily life as consistent as possible. I try to structure their day so it is consistent with their routines at home, such as walks, medications, meal times, etc. I work 7:30-2:30 on weekdays during the school year, but otherwise I can fit other things around that. I usually feed around 6:30am and anytime in the afternoon. We have a fenced in yard and we go on regular walks, especially at the nature reserve near our place. We have toys, treats, food & water bowls, crates for smaller dogs, dog beds, leashes, etc in case the dog comes over last minute, but we always encourage owners to bring anything that they like with their animals.
