About: My love for animals of all kinds began in 6th grade and has only become more expansive as I have continued to care for the pets of my friends and neighbors. My senior dog is almost 18 years young so I am well versed in going above and beyond! As an educator my timing is flexible, especially for summer! I am looking to help families as another Rover.com pet sitter helped us with our senior dog. About: I’ve had hands-on experience caring for pets for years, including raising my own dog since he was a puppy. I’m very involved in his daily care, including feeding, walks, routines, giving lots of attention, and helping manage medical needs when needed. Because of this, I understand how important patience, consistency, and trust are when caring for someone’s pet. I’m also very comfortable with cats and enjoy spending time with different personalities, whether they’re playful, shy, energetic, or need extra comfort and care. I’ll always treat pets like family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I recently graduated high school and will be starting college soon, so I have a very open and flexible schedule this summer! I do work part-time, but outside of my work schedule I’m available most days and have plenty of time to give pets attention, playtime, walks, and companionship. Since I will be caring for pets in their own home, my goal is to help them feel as comfortable, safe, and stress-free as possible by sticking to their normal routine. I’m very attentive to instructions and will make sure your pet gets the care, attention, exercise, feeding, potty breaks, and affection they need while you’re away. I also have hands-on experience with crate training through my own dog, who is crate trained and comfortably sleeps in his crate when prompted. About: I have been a consistent volunteer with multiple shelters and a pet sitter over the past 4 years taking care of animals of different backgrounds. I'm currently preparing to leave for college and have a lot of time to spend with your dogs throughout the summer (weekends and weekdays available)! I can provide leashes (slip lead and clip), doggy bags, and a travel water bowl (all if needed) in order to provide your dog with the best and safest experience possible.

About: Hi! I’m a junior at the University of Pittsburgh and a lifelong animal lover with extensive hands-on experience caring for pets of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. I currently have two dogs: Whiskey, my 6-year-old Yorkie, and Cosmo, my 4-year-old cockapoo. I’ve raised both since they were puppies. I’ve also cared for a golden retriever named Kimba from puppyhood, which gave me valuable experience handling larger, high-energy dogs as well. Both of my dogs have needed oral medications before (pills and liquid), so I’m familiar with getting pets to take medicine when needed. When caring for pets, my main priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed whether I’m in my home or the client’s home. I always follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions from the owner. I pay close attention to doors, leashes, and overall safety during walks and visits, and I make sure pets are never in stressful or unfamiliar situations unnecessarily. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of the space, keep things clean, and make sure everything is left how it was found. I also give pets calm attention, playtime, and supervision so they feel secure while their owner is away. If any issues come up, I communicate right away so the owner is always informed.
