“Megan was a true trooper with Mozart. For some reason, he would not show up when she came, always right on schedule. She made sure he was okay, put out his food, then cleaned up any that was left on her next visit. Megan did not get discouraged by Mozart not appearing. She kept to her tasks. He finally did let her see him and play with.him on her next to last visit. Would use her again.”

“We are pleased with Teresa's pet sitting! She did a great job on the first assignment with our cats. They are kept separate, and it is a bit of a juggling act to get their needs taken care of and get a rapport with them (especially the first time!). She showed concern for getting along with them and helping them to feel comfortable with her. We appreciate her taking care of our cats and being mindful of our requests! Thank you, Teresa!”

About: I have been very fortunate to have been able to befriend, love and care for many animals in my life. I consider myself lucky to have existed at the same time as my 3 dogs and 3 cats, and I’m grateful for each opportunity to care for the animals of my friends and family. Though I’m new to Rover, I’ve cared for many ages, types and sizes of animals, and I have experience with different needs and personalities. I work a full time job with regular hours so my weekday availability for care is early mornings and late afternoon/evenings. As for the weekends, I’m very flexible and generally available all, if not most of the day. Keeping your space and animals safe and cared for are my primary concerns. Beyond the basics, I hope to provide a comfortable and respectful experience. I’m happy to follow specific care instructions in terms of food, exercise, medications, etc.
“Cassandra is wonderful! She did a meet and greet with us and our cats prior to the appointment. We had her drop in for our cats while we were away and she took great care of them. She is a true lover of all animals and very respectful. We just found our new permanent cat sitter! Thank you so much ?”

“Tina came for a meet and greet and my husband and I instantly knew she would be great because our dog, who is afraid of everyone and everything, started loving on her instantly. She has never done that with strangers in her 3 1/2 years so right away that spoke volumes to us. We are looking forward to our babies getting to know Tina. Thank you Tina for spending some of your time meeting all of us.”

“Marian is the best! She always sends the cutest pictures of our cats when she comes over for check-ins while we are away. They obviously love her and she has even managed to get our shy cat out of hiding which isn’t easy. Marian is also very easy to get in touch with and is very professional in every way. We highly recommend her services!”

“Addison was great! My cat is very particular about who he warms up to and he took to her pretty quickly. Her daily updates were detailed and reassured me that my kitty was well taken care of. She was very responsive and communicative. Would absolutely recommend and use her services again!”

About: I've been a passionate animal caretaker most of my life. At a young age I began pet sitting for family, friends and neighbors. I raised several litters of bunnies, was the whelping helper for my Scottish Terrier twice, and rescued an African Grey Parrot 27 years ago. He is happily living with my Shih Tzu and Great Pyrenees. My husband and I have two adult college students, so our pets are extra spoiled these days! I'm currently an Elementary School Teacher, so I am available after 3pm during the weekdays. I am available and flexible on the weekends and during the summer. I would like to know your rules and procedures that are expected in your home, so I can provide that same care to keep your pets happy and safe.

“Blue did a great job taking care of our precious darling! Our cat can be a little shy, but seemed to warm up quickly after Blue let them choose the can for dinner :). We were very happy to have Blue as a cat sitter!”

“Bronwen was absolutely wonderful! She took notes on her initial visit, was prompt with all communications, and sent pictures daily so that we could see how our cats were doing. And they did great under Bronwen’s care. We hope to hire her again the next time we travel.”

About: I worked as a professional pedestrian when I travelled on foot across America performing comedy along the way. It was the first time I got a lot of experience staying with families with all different pets. In my years I’ve seen it all so I’m not phased by anything. Quick to adapt to different situations and comfortable with all manners of dogs. I’ve trained puppies and I’ve seen dogs mature. They all require their own respect and attention that I’m happy to give. I work remotely for one job and on the go for another. My schedule is as flexible as I need it to be. Most likely I will be visiting or walking pets in the morning or mid-afternoon but I can make any arrangement work. I’ve stayed at a number of friends houses caring for their pets from an overnight to a week. I am drug and alcohol free so you don’t need to worry. I’m quiet and clean and have stuck by the principal of leave a place better than you found it.

Lisa took care of our cats while we were traveling and did a fantastic job. We really appreciated her spending time with them and providing pictures and updates on how they were doing. We have used Lisa before and trust her completely. Thank you so much Lisa!! 😊

Cassandra was very gentle and loving with my shy cat. She did all the tasks I asked for, including mixing special food and combing the my kitty. I really liked that she sent me a picture everyday and a short summary of her visit. I would definitely hire her again for my cat's care.
