“Marlee is professional, wonderful with our cats, and flexible with unexpected situations that occur by the owner. She was scheduled to work until June 7th then my husband and I would be home the following day but our plane was canceled on Sat. I asked Marlee if she could come in to feed them wet food and despite having her weekends free she offered to come in Sunday AND Monday. Marlee is amazing and I will be booking her again (this was our 4th time).”

About: I’ve spent my entire life living with cats and caring for them. I also spent last year living with a service dog in training and caring for him I currently have an internship at UD throughout the summer. I am available both before work and after work to care for pets. I can provide walking, feeding, playing, and just company for animals. I I will give your pets my full attention, spend time with them, and care for them however they may need. I will make sure the pets are in fantastic care.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and truly can’t imagine a home without them. Growing up, I cared for pets of all kinds, which helped me become comfortable and confident with different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. As an adult, I’ve continued that passion by owning and caring for my own pets, giving me hands-on experience with daily routines, training basics, and recognizing each animal’s unique needs. In addition to my own pets, I’ve regularly cared for the pets of family and friends, whether it’s walking, feeding, administering basic care, or just making sure they feel loved and comfortable while their owners are away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own, with patience, attention, and lots of affection. I am a school teacher, so I am available after school (4 pm or later) and on weekends. I’m also available all day during the week on days I have off and during the summer. I would love to care for your pet in the place they are most comfortable - their own home! And I will take them for walks in their neighborhood, with all the sights and smells they are used to!

About: Animals are Gods among us. I agree with Ricky Gervais, that "a dog loves you more than it loves itself, and that's why I worship dogs." Honestly, this gig is a bit selfish - my sweet baby Pit Mix passed away recently & I miss her terribly. I'm certain that engaging with animals will soothe this depression. I am socially awkward with humans, but I love animals. This will be therapy, a true gift, to me. I also need to exercise more and would like to be able to afford any kind of home, some day. My family has had pets since I was in kindergarten. I volunteered with Faithful Friends in High School, through which I also fostered kittens. I have taken care of my neighbors' & friends' pets while away over the years, which I equate to a collective total of ~2 years. I take medical issues very seriously & cared for my doll when she was ill. I understand how stressful & important it is. My favorite thing about walking a dog is when the folded tops of their ears bounce up and down. I work full time until ~4:30PM, but I am usually free after. I am available for boarding on the weekends. On the days I work from home (typically Monday & Wednesday), I can also provide a walk or check in during my lunch hour (1 to 2PM). There are no other animals or children in my home; your pet will have my undivided attention. I have a large partially fenced in yard, and many walking trails nearby. I'm also happy to take care of a pet in your home, if preferred.

I am a homeschooling parent of two kids ages 7 and 10 (also animal lovers!) so I am home all day and your dog won’t be left alone for long periods of time. I am comfortable with administering medication or dogs that have special needs, including experience with blind/deaf animals and dogs with paralysis. She is getting up there in years, but very used to dogs. She grew up around my dog that I unfortunately lost in 2022 and they were great friends. We also have two gerbils named Snowball and Oatmeal. About our yard We have a good sized fenced backyard, but I would never leave your dog out there by him or herself since it is an unfamiliar area. I would much rather go out with your dog when he/she needs to! My experience administering medication: I am very comfortable administering all sorts of medication, as long as I am provided with the instructions for correct administration. I have experience sitting for dogs with needed medications and special needs/physical limitations, including blind and paralyzed dogs.
