She really listened to us and our dog’s needs, for instance, giving him more space at first since he can be shy with strangers. Overall, she went above and beyond for him—giving him treats to help him adjust and get used to her, taking him to play fetch at the tennis court, letting him play with a toy stash of hers, cuddling him in her bed, providing a giant fluffy beanbag chair for him to sit in, etc. My dog loved it so much that I think he was a little sad to leave! About: Ive had cats and dogs since a very young age I currently have 4 dogs and three cats. I have many years of experience and love them all! I am currently a student at University of Delaware and I thought maybe this job would work for my class schedule. I have a lot of free time outside of class. About: Animals are Gods among us. I agree with Ricky Gervais, that "a dog loves you more than it loves itself, and that's why I worship dogs." Honestly, this gig is a bit selfish - my sweet baby Pit Mix passed away recently & I miss her terribly. I'm certain that engaging with animals will soothe this depression. I am socially awkward with humans, but I love animals. This will be therapy, a true gift, to me. I also need to exercise more and would like to be able to afford any kind of home, some day. My family has had pets since I was in kindergarten. I volunteered with Faithful Friends in High School, through which I also fostered kittens. I have taken care of my neighbors' & friends' pets while away over the years, which I equate to a collective total of ~2 years. I take medical issues very seriously & cared for my doll when she was ill. I understand how stressful & important it is. My favorite thing about walking a dog is when the folded tops of their ears bounce up and down. I work full time until ~4:30PM, but I am usually free after. I am available for boarding on the weekends. On the days I work from home (typically Monday & Wednesday), I can also provide a walk or check in during my lunch hour (1 to 2PM). There are no other animals or children in my home; your pet will have my undivided attention. I have a large partially fenced in yard, and many walking trails nearby. About: I haven’t taken care of dogs professionally but I have always had a deep love for dogs. I have owned an American Bully and English Bulldog on my own and have had multiple family dogs growing up. Having my own dogs, I have gone through the process of training two different types of temperaments and am looking forward to engaging/learning about more! I currently work from home as an accountant M-F. I have the flexibility to leave and return as needed. I could take my laptop if I needed to be around for an extended amount of time. Otherwise, I have the ability to use my flexibility to be present. I have an open living room setup and an English bulldog of my own to keep them company as well. I have been pet sitting for over 12 years; I used to have dogs come board with me while owners went away, but I've found that most owners prefer their pets to stay in the comfort of their own home. I am happy to provide updates as soon as I arrive, during the stay, and as I leave. For dog walks, I prefer not to introduce any dog that I’m handling to another dog passing by. About: I’ve had pets all my life. I love all animals especially cats and dogs. I have trained my dog, Benji, who I’ve had for 6 years! I would love to have your pet! I’m a self employed makeup artist so my schedule is pretty open during the week mostly! I work from home and we are very flexible I have a big fenced yard. Only one male neutered dog who gets along with most dogs. I love to play and pet the dogs often and then love to sit with me and watch favorite movie!

“Jen and her husband were incredible! We could tell they loved on our dog so much like he was their own dog. This was our first time leaving our new dog (who has separation anxiety) with a pet sitter, so we were nervous, but Jen helped make us feel so at ease! She was very communicative, giving us multiple updates and photos every day and responding quickly to messages from us. She really listened to us and our dog’s needs, for instance, giving him more space at first since he can be shy with strangers. Overall, she went above and beyond for him—giving him treats to help him adjust and get used to her, taking him to play fetch at the tennis court, letting him play with a toy stash of hers, cuddling him in her bed, providing a giant fluffy beanbag chair for him to sit in, etc. My dog loved it so much that I think he was a little sad to leave! We will definitely use this sitter again!”
About: Ive had cats and dogs since a very young age I currently have 4 dogs and three cats. I have many years of experience and love them all! I am currently a student at University of Delaware and I thought maybe this job would work for my class schedule. I have a lot of free time outside of class. I have 3 cats, a boarder collie, australian shepherd, and a west highland terrier. They are all very good animals most of my animals live at home except for one of my cats that lives with me at school, but I’ve taken care of all these animals from almost all my life.

“Yvonne and her husband granted me an amazing experience of boarding my dog (Freda). It all began with a last minute trip, which required me to board Freda within 48 hours. I sent Yvonne a request based on her location and availability for the days I required. This turned into a blessing. She replied almost immediately. She offered to host Freda as long as as our initial meeting between Freda and her own dog (Quincy) went well. When I first arrived Yvonne and her husband were so welcoming. We discussed our pets and introduced ourselves - it felt more than just business of boarding my dog. This experience was different. This experience was exceptional. They showed me around the area of their home where Freda would eat and sleep. They also showed me around their beautiful fenced in yard where she could run comfortably. They also stated they only host one pet at a time and never leave the dog unattended. This put a lot of my thoughts at ease. Throughout my trip Yvonne sent me pictures and provided me updates and once again worked well with my return schedule to pick up Freda. I will definitely be using Yvonne again if she’s available as she was a wonderful host to Freda and I. Thank you.”
