Each of our grown children took in a dog or puppy once they had their own homes. We have had cats, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs over the years. I'm recently semi-retired and my daughters have used Rover for their dogs in far away states. I thought it would be a nice way to give our dog a playmate every once in a while. We have a large fenced in yard which your dog can run around or hangout with our dog if they'd like. Our house is split level so there could be 6 stairs at time to go up & down. About: Animals are Gods among us. I agree with Ricky Gervais, that "a dog loves you more than it loves itself, and that's why I worship dogs." Honestly, this gig is a bit selfish - my sweet baby Pit Mix passed away recently & I miss her terribly. I'm certain that engaging with animals will soothe this depression. I take medical issues very seriously & cared for my doll when she was ill. I understand how stressful & important it is. My favorite thing about walking a dog is when the folded tops of their ears bounce up and down. I work full time until ~4:30PM, but I am usually free after. I am available for boarding on the weekends. On the days I work from home (typically Monday & Wednesday), I can also provide a walk or check in during my lunch hour (1 to 2PM). There are no other animals or children in my home; your pet will have my undivided attention. I have a large partially fenced in yard, and many walking trails nearby. I'm also happy to take care of a pet in your home, if preferred.
About: I’ve taken cause of cats of family members and friends! I would watch over my cousins cat when they were away and I would feed them, change the litter box, and play with them. About: I have taken care of neighbors’ and grandparents’ dogs as well as my own. I love dogs more than most people and would do anything to protect them and keep them happy. As a college student away from my fur babies at home, this fits perfectly into my schedule. I have a lot of time on my hands until I start grad school this summer!
