“Chloe clicked with my dog Ellie instantly, they loved each other during the meet and greet. We left Ellie in good hands for one day with Chloe. She stopped by several times during the day and next day to make sure Ellie was well fed and loved. The pictures she sent made me relieved that Ellie was well taken care of while I was away. I’ll definitely be asking her to care for my dog next time I’m away 💛.”

About: Animals are the center of my universe. I grew up with animals of all kinds; cats, dogs, bunnies, hamsters, birds, fish, ferrets. I’m currently a mom to a female golden retriever, two beautiful ferret daughters and a baby boy bird. I hope to retire one day and own an animal rescue farm. I believe it is our job as humans to give all sentient beings the absolute best love and care and to make sure they feel safe. I am keen to make sure wildlife is safe wherever possible. I’ll pull over on the side of the road to help turtles cross to the other side of the reservoir. On a daily basis I will prioritize every animal from the moment I wake up. I can and will do it all. Feeding, cleaning, walking, playing, giving them love and attention. As I mentioned above, animals are the center of my universe. I want each and every animal to trust me and feel safe with me while under my care.

About: I am retired and have recently relocated to northern jersey. I am an avid animal lover. I have always had my own pets. Unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to my fur baby of 13 1/2 years and am not quite ready to adopt at this time but sincerely miss having an animal in my life. I am helping to care for a dear friend’s cat and although truthfully I am more a "dog" person, I now find myself beginning to appreciate "cats”. Cats are really fascinating (and a lot different) than dogs. I believe that I am a person who you can trust with one of your most prized possessions, your "fur-babies". I love walking, so dog walking is a win win!! Drop in visits are also no problem!! Unfortunately. I am unable to offer pet sitting at this time. I love to walk and especially enjoy walking for a furry companion. Home visits for either dogs and cats are also something I enjoy doing. I am currently unavailable for pet sitting. However, I do prefer walking small or medium dogs and will give them the exercise and/or company they need.

“Andrea is amazing. My cat Penny is super sweet but vibe with cats is everything. Penny loved her and she was a joy to work with. Always on top of giving meds and doing the hour long stay I requested. Leaving Penny in Andrea's care is the best trip decision I made.”

About: Lifelong animal lover with experience from pups, kittens to senior dogs and even more recently deaf pets. Was raised with cats, dogs, and even reptiles. Pet care fits naturally into my life. Recently lost my 13yr old senior frenchie. I do work full-time weekdays but am available for evening feedings, walks, and weekend care. My 12 yr old son may be with me many times as this is also his passion. Whether in my home or yours, your pet’s comfort and safety come first. In my home, while space is modest, I offer a clean, cozy environment with a secure fenced-in yard for play and potty breaks. I'm attentive and patient. I also have a 12 yr old son who can keep your pet active if needed. My son actively entertained our frenchie and provided those extra special hugs. There will always be room for love and play. In your home, I follow your pet's routine closely to keep them calm and happy while you're away.

“Maia took such good care of our 2 cats! She was always available to answer our questions, and sent us lots of pictures and videos. Our girls seemed pretty happy to see her and our house is in great shape. Thank you Maia!”

“Lauren was AMAZING!! She left us with very detailed info about Sedona, and made us feel very secure about Sedona. Would HIGHLY recommend!! I will definitely keep booking Lauren for future bookings because she is very trustworthy and a cat whisperer ?”

About: Having booked several Rover sitters for my own dog over the last few years, I understand how important it can be to allow a pet to stay in their own home while you're away. The sitters I met through Rover were vital to my dog's well-being and becoming a better pet owner—I aim to return that same level of care back to others. My most recent pet-care experience was with my late dog Sonny, who was 11 when I foster-failed. I am most familiar with handling separation anxiety, mobility limitations, and other senior dog quirks, but have also cared for younger dogs in the past! Because I work remotely (9-6 ET M-F, variable on the weekends), I can stay with your pet full time as long as l have access to a Wifi network. Please indicate how long your pet is comfortable staying home alone for. If your pet enjoys being out and about, with your permission, I can transport them in my car, equipped with a pet backseat hammock, car leash, and bed. Maintaining a sense of routine and familiarity for your pet(s) remains top of mind for all the services that I offer. I will tailor my care to your pet's temperament and energy level.

About: Personalized Attention – I care for each dog as if they were my own, tailoring walks, playtime, and routines to their unique personality and needs. • Trust & Reliability – Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented—you can feel confident your pet and home are in safe hands. • Comfort & Familiarity – I keep your dog’s routine consistent, minimizing stress while you’re away. • Warm, Compassionate Care – More than just feeding and walking—I offer companionship, affection, and a sense of security for your furry family member. • Professional Service – Clear communication, updates with photos, and a strong commitment to your peace of mind. I provide more than sitting—I give dogs the love, routine, and companionship they need, while giving you peace of mind with reliable, trusted care. Dog sitting with me means dependable care that fits seamlessly into your dog’s routine—regular walks, meals, playtime, and companionship, all tailored to keep them happy, comfortable, and stress-free. Your dog will feel right at home in my care. With a large fenced-in yard, there’s plenty of safe space to run and play. They’ll enjoy the company of my three friendly dogs, making sure they never feel lonely. Just a minute away is a veterinary doctor for peace of mind in any emergency, and a dog spa two minutes away if grooming is needed. Plus, a large park within walking distance offers daily adventures. Comfort, safety, and fun—all in one place.

“Erick was great. His communication was exceptional and he really took the time to understand the layout of our house and our pets routine. His updates were very thoughtful and we appreciated the pictures he sent. Would recommend!”

“Pew Pew was very happy in Alina's care. Alina is very communicative and helpful. Alina gave Pew Pew her medicine daily and was flexible with a last minute change. Thank you Alina!”

“Jenny was an absolute delight as a cat sitter for Ms. Chunky! From the start, she was professional, communicative, and genuinely caring. She took the time to meet us beforehand and made sure she understood Chunky's needs and quirks. Throughout her visits, Jenny kept me updated with timely messages, fun photos, and sweet little anecdotes about their budding friendship (which I'm convinced is now lifelong). Her attention to detail was fantastic—she even went above and beyond by checking on a package for me. It was clear she genuinely cared for Chunky, treating her like royalty with treats and affection. Jenny's reliability and warm demeanor made me feel completely at ease while I was away. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and fun sitter for their furry family members. Thank you, Jenny!”

About: I have been taking care of my dog for about 7 years now, I have been feeding him and playing with him, I love them. I work a part time job so in my free time I like walking dogs and seeing other dogs and everything they have to give. I have a fence so he can play when he wants on the deck or if he wants a walk. If they misbehave I can crate them so they can learn.

Lynda L.
“I have known Lynda a long time. We call her “Ellie Mae Clampett”. She is truly the most involved caregiver for animals I have yet to encounter in my 60+ years. Lynda has taken care of our 2 golden retrievers until these two dogs were 16 and 17 years old. She frequently involved herself with our English Shepard and now with our newer golden. A dedicated animal lover to the core. Lynda has also cared for an Eclectus parrot that was in our home for several years. That bird was very hard for anyone to get close to…Lynda did and handled him easily and with his permission. If there is anyone I would have in my home to responsibly take care of my animals…Lynda is a first choice always. Trustworthy and sincere should be her middle names.”

Gail M.
“Hello: I have known Gail for better than 25 years and have observed her lovingly and competently care for her own pets as well as mine. You will not find a better companion for your pet!”

Joeyann M.
“I’m writing to recommend JoeyAnn Morales as a pet sitter based on my personal experience and years of knowing her. She recently cared for my cats while I was out of town, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She was incredibly attentive, stopping by not just to feed them, but to spend quality time, check in on their well-being, and give them the play and attention they needed. I came home to happy, relaxed cats and a clean space, which speaks volumes. I’ve known JoeyAnn since she was young, and she’s always had a natural love for animals. Even as a child, she was the kind of person who gravitated toward pets, always gentle, curious, and caring. She grew up in a home filled with animals of all kinds, from dogs and cats to ducks, reptiles, and birds. That early exposure gave her a deep understanding of how to care for animals with both confidence and compassion. She’s responsible, trustworthy, and genuinely passionate about the well-being of animals. If you're looking for someone to care for your pets as if they were her own, she’s exactly who you want.”

“Connie watched my 4 year old springer spaniel, Dottie for 4 nights recently. She sent me several updates per day and I think my dog was actually sad she left! Connie also stayed in my home and was a fantastic house guest. I’ll definitely have her watch my dog again in the future and will recommend her to friends and family looking for a sitter.”

Evelien Z.
“Our German Shepherd stayed with Evelien for a week, and we couldn’t be happier! She had so much space to run in the fenced yard and loved the daily play with Evelien’s dogs. We felt completely at ease knowing a vet was nearby and appreciated the thoughtful updates throughout the week. This was more than boarding—it was a second home for our dog.”

Theodore G.
“As Teddy's father, I've had the privilege of watching him grow into an incredibly kind, responsible, and thoughtful young man—especially when it comes to animals. From a very early age, he showed a deep empathy for pets and a natural ability to connect with them. When our neighbors went on vacation, Teddy stepped in without hesitation, making sure their dogs were not just cared for, but loved and given plenty of attention and playtime. He approaches every task with maturity and a big heart. Whether he’s out walking dogs in the neighborhood or simply sitting with a nervous pup to keep them company, he brings calm, warmth, and a strong sense of responsibility. I’d trust him with any pet, any time. He’d be an incredible asset to the Rover community.”
