As an empowerment coach, I work mostly from home, which allows me to be present with the dogs I care for throughout the day. I do have occasional workshops, classes, and client visits that take me out of the house part-time, but I always plan my schedule carefully so pups get plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, and companionship. I’ve always felt a strong connection with animals, and being around them is where I feel most relaxed and at ease. I have a degree in Psychology and several years of experience working in education, and I currently work as a special education teacher. I’m naturally patient and attentive, and my background in psychology and education has given me a strong understanding of individual needs, personalities, and different ways of communicating. I bring that same patience and attentiveness into caring for animals. I want to get to know your pet as an individual and understand what makes them feel safe and comfortable. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pet with someone else. They’re family, and I understand the worry, sadness, and anxiety that can come with being away from them. My goal is to make the experience as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet. I’m always happy to send photos, videos, and updates, and I want you to feel comfortable sharing anything that helps me give your pet the best possible care. At the end of the day, I want your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, and I want you to be able to enjoy your time away! I'm so excited to meet you and your pets! I have plenty of availability for pet care throughout the week! I’m available weekday evenings after 5 PM, as well as weekends, holidays, school breaks, and school closure days. I work at a school, so I have additional daytime availability throughout the year. I’m happy to work with your schedule and do my best to accommodate your pet’s needs! I am happy to offer dog walking and pet sitting services! I have a dog and cat of my own at home so I am willing to watch your pets in the comfort of their own home.

About: I grew up with a dog that we lost at age 15, then I adopted a senior dog who I had for five years afterward. He had a variety of health issues I had to administer medication for, including epilepsy and arthritis. In March of 2024, I adopted a puppy, so I now have experience with younger dogs as well. I allow drop off/pickup between 8AM and 8PM. I work from home full time, M-F from 9AM - 6PM. I can take your dog out to pee numerous times throughout the day and can take them on longer walks 1-2 times per day, weather permitting. I only board dogs who are fully house trained and can be left alone for a few hours at a time as I do not offer constant care. Please bring all of your dog’s supplies as I live in an apartment and don’t have extras: food, bed, treats, bowls, toys, chews/enrichment, leash and collar, and anything else you want to send them with to feel comfortable. I have poop bags and some toys they can share with my dog. I can only accept bookings with dogs who are friendly with others, as I have a dog of my own. If they do not seem comfortable together I have a baby gate I can use to separate them. My dog stays in her crate whenever I leave my home. Please note that I do not let dogs I am sitting sleep in my bedroom so they will be sleeping by themselves in whatever bed or crate you provide in my living room.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 10 when I got my dog. I joined Rover 3 years ago and have experience walking, feeding, playing with, and caring for various types of dogs. I care for every dog as if they're my own! I just got home from college and am looking to make some money as I take a remote class this summer. That being said, my schedule is pretty open and flexible! I am very respectful of other's spaces and make sure to follow instructions carefully.
