Henry was well taken care of and came home a happy dog. I will definitely continue to use Vanessa when we need a sitter. She was very flexible with time and I felt good leaving Henry in her hands.

Lauren was amazing and Kai came home super tired! Lauren sent pictures and updates throughout the day and took excellent care of him! She is professional, caring and very communicative. Kai had so much fun playing with the other dogs and running around the big, fenced areas! We felt extremely comfortable leaving him there and will be booking again soon.

Danielle was so kind to accommodate us last minute for daycare. She asked plenty of questions to get familiar with my dog’s needs and was even willing to give him water from a plastic cup due to his pickiness. Looking forward to hopefully working with her again!

Lingli came through for our last minute doggy daycare needs and we are grateful! She was consistently responsive over messages, and was very sweet to our small dog, Gary, during their meet and greet, gently letting him get used to her. He was excited to see her again when we returned for drop off a couple days later. We appreciated the photos of his stay and know he was well looked after.

I left my puppy Law for Day Care with Erika and Franklin. They took great care of law from sun up til sun down. They were able follow instructions to a T, responded quickly, asked questions and provided photos throughout the day as requested. Definitely would recommend!

About: Cats and dogs have been part of my everyday life since childhood. Today my wife and I share our home with two cats and two dogs — so your pet is joining a household that already speaks their language. I've cared for family members' and friends' animals through house sitting, in-home drop-ins, feeding, walks, and play — at my place and at theirs. Laid-back, attentive, and genuinely passionate about animals. Pet care is my full-time focus right now. While I take cybersecurity courses and work toward a new career in tech, my days are built around home — which means your pet gets consistent, attentive care every single day of the week. I am available for both daycare and boarding seven days a week with no gaps in availability. A typical day looks like this: Meals Three feeding periods — morning, midday, and evening — keep pets on a consistent routine throughout the day. Walks Dogs go out 6 to 7 times a day, roughly every 3 hours, so there are no long stretches of waiting — they stay active and comfortable all day long. Cat play Cats enjoy one to two dedicated play sessions each day to keep them stimulated and engaged. My home is a pet-friendly, well-organized space designed with animal comfort and safety in mind. Here's what you can expect: Resident dogs Two friendly small dogs — a Pomeranian and a Chihuahua — live in the home and are great companions for visiting dogs. They've spent time at doggy daycare themselves and are comfortable and experienced around other dogs, which helps guests settle in faster. Cats in the home There are cats in the household. Baby gates are in place throughout the home to create separated zones as needed, keeping cats and dogs comfortable and giving everyone their own space to decompress. Yard & outdoor time My yard is not fenced, so all outdoor time is leashed. With 6 to 7 walks a day, dogs get more than enough fresh air and exercise — and they're never left unattended outside. Crating A small dog crate is available if a pet is crate-trained or needs a quiet retreat. I'm also happy to use a crate provided by the owner if your dog is more comfortable in their own space.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was young. I grew up on a farm with lots of animals and have trained many puppies and older dogs alike. All my dogs have been rescues so I’m very familiar with dogs that have come from bad situations and dogs that are misunderstood because of their breeds. I’ve always had dogs of different sizes, breeds and temperaments. I’m always the first person my friends and family go to when they need some extra help with t dogs or just need someone to watch them while on vacation. I live on 10 acres which is perfect for those dogs that love off leash time but don’t get a lot, I love exploring new areas and have assisted in training dogs while in the military. I’m currently working part time and looking for a way to get out of the house more often and help people with their pets needs. As a dog and cat owner I know how important exercise is and that some people just don’t have the time to take their dogs on proper walks while they are at work. I live on ten acres and can offer a safe environment for dogs to safely play in, I have extra long leads so if your pup isn’t quite off leash trained they can still have an amazing experience with the long leads and all the land. I always follow whatever instructions are left for me as I know how important routines can be for a pet!

About: Hi! I’m a caring and dependable pet sitter with 10 years of experience caring for dogs. I absolutely love animals and understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your furry family member. When your dog is in my care, they’ll receive plenty of love, attention, playtime, walks, and cuddles while I follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I’m patient with dogs of all personalities and will always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I know leaving your pet with someone new can be stressful, so I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands. My goal is for every dog I care for to feel like they’re spending time with a second home—not just a sitter! 🐾❤️ I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pup! I have a flexible schedule and can make pet care a priority throughout the week. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting, and I’m happy to work with each pet parent’s schedule and their dog’s routine. I’m dependable and will make sure your pup gets the attention, exercise, and care they need while you’re away. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment for every pet in my care. I always follow each pet’s routine and their owner’s instructions, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special needs. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and never left in an unsafe situation. I also keep pet parents updated with photos and messages so they always know how their furry family member is doing. 🐾❤️

Wow - Maria is sooo understanding! The clocks at work were not changed for daylight savings, so I was an hour late for an already late pick up. Maria was very kind and understanding. It really makes me feel great to know they are always looking out for Sparky, and now for me as well!

Ebot responded to my booking request quickly & was also very polite with his communications. Jäger didn’t finish his two days booked with him. I don’t think it was a great fit for Jäger & think ebot would do best caring for dogs who don’t mind being crated and are smaller in size who also don’t mind being left. Apparently my dog displayed anxious behaviors he has never displayed before in his 4 years of rover daycares but I think it just wasn’t the best fit. Love ebot’s energy & personality though & wish him the best of luck! I think he’ll do great with other pups

About: I have had many breeds of dogs growing up (from German Shepard to Pomeranians) since I was 15. Me and my daughters are comfortable with energetic puppies to senior dogs and everything in between. We always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and cared for. Pet care easily fits into my daily routine as I work from home most days and my daughter is home from college and is able to take them on walks, give potty breaks, and care for them during the day. My other daughter (school age) helps out when she’s back from school and on weekends. We have a very large yard perfect for your dog to run around and play and I also have a two year old dog who is really friendly and loves to play. I follow care instructions very closely, ensuring your pet is always safe and comfortable.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Clarksville on Rover is $59.94 per day (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of September 2026, there are 5,269 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Clarksville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Clarksville commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 5,269 sitters in Clarksville, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
