About: Dogs have always been a part of my life; I’ve been around dogs since the age of 5. Growing up with dogs has helped me develop skills in order to take care of them. When my family and I adopted my Shi Zhu, he had numerous of kidney issues which meant I was responsible for providing him with his medication. We’ve adopted another dog named Lady and she enjoys going on hikes (especially if there’s a nearby creek for her to swim in). Not only do I care for my dogs at home, I’ve dog-sat for my neighbors, friends and family’s dogs; whenever i’m need, I’m always happy to take care of their dogs and go for walks. Of course I’m a dog lover but I cannot forget to mention my smaller pets; I had two parakeets growing up and currently have a fish and hamster which also receive my love and care for. I am a college student so my schedule varies often. When I am back on break, I have plenty of time to look after and provide walks with your fur pup. I will follow whatever safety instructions you give me for your dog or animals and can walk/feed/crate your dog per your instructions if needed. Trust and safety are very important to me. To ensure everyone is comfortable, I want to treat your pet the same as you do.

About: I started caring for animals at age 4 when I began riding and working at a barn with 25 horses. At age 14, I began my first job at a pet grooming and boarding facility. At 19, I began pet sitting for families on my summers home from college. Animals have always been a big part of my life and I enjoy spending my time with them. I have cared for animals of all ages, so I am equipped with the knowledge to handle seniors, babies, and everyone in between. I have also cared for animals of all sizes, so I am able to handle animals from hamsters to horses. I have had years of experience administering medicine both orally and through injection. My experience allows me to notice details that keep animals safe, happy, and well cared for. I work a part time job working with kids. I am at that job from 8:30am-1:30pm Monday-Friday. In the evening, I go to the gym for an hour or two. I am a homebody, so if I’m not at work or in the gym, I will be spending all my time with your pet, giving them the attention and love that they deserve. I love spending time outside, so I try to take pets on walks or have them run around outside with me when I can. If our time cannot be spent outside, playtime is brought inside. We play until one of us needs to take a breather (usually the pet wins). During the evening, generally I spend quality time cuddling with pets while watching a movie or doing some schoolwork. I like taking pictures with pets to send to owners so they know their fur baby is well taken care of and happy.

About: I love dogs and have had two Bernese mountain dogs in my life who I provide with patient, attentive, loving care focused on comfort, exercise, safety and happiness 😊 I am currently home for the summer from college and am free during the week to help you with your pups. I am on the Womens basketball team at my college and do have workouts early in the mornings and occasionally in the afternoon. I take my dog for walks often and also pet sit my neighbor dogs when their owner is at work. They have a husky and a Havanese puppy. I love to play with them outside as well as take them for walks around the neighborhood. I also let them rest and chill if they need after we have been outside for a while.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and have taken great care to ensure they are as happy as can be! I also occasionally dog sit for some senior dogs in my area! About: I’ve always been a huge dog lover and have taken care of dogs since I was 13! I have experience with pugs, goldens, sharpeis, and mix breeds. I have boarded dogs at my home, walked dogs and have had doggy day care for friends family and neighbors. About: I have loved animals since I was a small child. I got my first cat over 15 years ago and still love her dearly. My parents wouldn’t allow me to have a dog so I had to wait until I moved out when I was 20. After buying my house I rescued my neighbors dog that was permanently locked up in an outdoor kennel. Unfortunately she already had Lyme disease so it was for less than a year that I was able to give her a good quality of life. I then adopted my ex-coworkers German Shepard who was 5. Unfortunately despite all my efforts to have her live longer than her lifespan I lost her years later due to paralyzing seizures. Not too long after that I sold my house and have not been stable enough to get another dog due to my constant traveling. I love dogs and want to have another but can’t make a life long commitment at this time. However I can make a day/week/month long commitment to take care of your loved dog. It would be a pleasure to take care of your fur baby/babies. I work from home so I’m only gone for a couple/few hours out of the day to go to the gym and maybe grocery shop. I frequently go on walks when the weather permits and would love to bring your dog with me. If you have a dog who pulls as hard as they can I do prefer that you have a gentle leader. I am available all days and times when I am not traveling. I have a large yard at the end of a cul-de-sac in a nice neighborhood. I do have two cats who have lived with dogs before. If watching your loved pet I ask for details on what your expectations are to insure that you are 100 percent satisfied with my care for your fur baby.

About: I have been around animals all my life and have petsit(and babysit!) for over 5 years! I love long walks and taking care of pets, catering to their specific needs and what makes them happy. I want to work with you and your pet! I am a full time student and Residential Assistant in Pittsburgh, and stay at home in the summers. I have plenty of free time to take care of your pet. About: I have experience in puppy obedience training and leash training, oral medication administration, experience handling dogs of all ages and sizes, especially with caring for stubborn dogs. Also I am very familiar with taking care of pups with anxiety or different fears. I am a full time student at Boston University, but have long breaks throughout my day where I could care for nearby pets in need of attention or walks, meaning lunchtime check ins or walks work particularly well with my schedule. I am happy to follow any preferences you have for pet care, including crating your dog (I have extensive experience crate training an unruly giant schnauzer puppy), leash preferences, and feeding schedules. I typically bring water bowls and extra water for my dogs on walks to keep them feeling their best and treats to keep them engaged (treat type depending on what your dog typically eats).

About: I’m Emily! A little about me: I love to run, lift, paint, and read. I am currently a student at the University of Pittsburgh studying Speech Pathology and Audiology who’s home for the summer! I've been a pet owner myself for about 5 years now. My family currently has three cats and has had a dog and another cat in the past. Within the last seven years I have dog and cat sat for a lot of my extended family and friends. I'm currently on the hunt for a part-time job for the summer, so I have plenty of time on my hands to look after and care for pets. I also have my own car and am hanging out with friends a lot, so I am always around. I am very diligent with making sure doors and windows are shut and locked to ensure that your pets do not go in or out (if they're indoor pets/ not on a leash) as I have to do that with my own pets! I also realize as it grows hotter, animals become dehydrated and hot as well, and I am careful to make sure water bowls are filled, and there is water during walks as well.

About: My name is Darcy and I am a single Mom of 3 older girls , 3 dogs, and a very large boa! We are an animal loving family! I have had pets my whole life and worked full-time for a local Humane Society for over 4 years as well as a traditional boarding kennel for 2 years. I look forward to caring for others pets while they are away, as well as offering the assurance and comfort to a pet owner that their baby is being taken care of in a safe, professional and loving manor outside of a kennel environment. I also have experience with elderly and special needs animals. I have a flexible work schedule so I can work around your schedule! I can come up to three times a day, whatever times you may need. Whatever your wishes are for your pet as far as crating, running in a fenced yard, or having to be individually walked I am open to working to keep your pet on the same routine as if you were home!

About: I've been entrusted with caring for family and friends of family's pets since I was around 15. I started working professionally with animals when I started volunteering with HEAL Animal Rescue and then working with Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley. I am now a Kennel Lead, mainly overseeing front desk operations and cat care, despite that I still work with the dogs at least once a day while I'm in! During my time there, I have learned to properly administer medication (oral, rectal, injection) as well as other medical procedures. I have a genuine passion for animal care and am enrolling in VTI to further expand my career going forward. I have worked with many pets before, including pets with behavioral issues (both big and small).
