About: Dogs have always been a part of my life; I’ve been around dogs since the age of 5. Growing up with dogs has helped me develop skills in order to take care of them. When my family and I adopted my Shi Zhu, he had numerous of kidney issues which meant I was responsible for providing him with his medication. We’ve adopted another dog named Lady and she enjoys going on hikes (especially if there’s a nearby creek for her to swim in). Not only do I care for my dogs at home, I’ve dog-sat for my neighbors, friends and family’s dogs; whenever i’m need, I’m always happy to take care of their dogs and go for walks. Of course I’m a dog lover but I cannot forget to mention my smaller pets; I had two parakeets growing up and currently have a fish and hamster which also receive my love and care for. I am a college student so my schedule varies often. When I am back on break, I have plenty of time to look after and provide walks with your fur pup. I will follow whatever safety instructions you give me for your dog or animals and can walk/feed/crate your dog per your instructions if needed. Trust and safety are very important to me. To ensure everyone is comfortable, I want to treat your pet the same as you do.

About: I’m Emily! A little about me: I love to run, lift, paint, and read. I am currently a student at the University of Pittsburgh studying Speech Pathology and Audiology who’s home for the summer! I've been a pet owner myself for about 5 years now. My family currently has three cats and has had a dog and another cat in the past. Within the last seven years I have dog and cat sat for a lot of my extended family and friends. I'm currently on the hunt for a part-time job for the summer, so I have plenty of time on my hands to look after and care for pets. I also have my own car and am hanging out with friends a lot, so I am always around. I am very diligent with making sure doors and windows are shut and locked to ensure that your pets do not go in or out (if they're indoor pets/ not on a leash) as I have to do that with my own pets! I also realize as it grows hotter, animals become dehydrated and hot as well, and I am careful to make sure water bowls are filled, and there is water during walks as well.

About: I started caring for animals at age 4 when I began riding and working at a barn with 25 horses. At age 14, I began my first job at a pet grooming and boarding facility. At 19, I began pet sitting for families on my summers home from college. Animals have always been a big part of my life and I enjoy spending my time with them. I have cared for animals of all ages, so I am equipped with the knowledge to handle seniors, babies, and everyone in between. I have also cared for animals of all sizes, so I am able to handle animals from hamsters to horses. I have had years of experience administering medicine both orally and through injection. My experience allows me to notice details that keep animals safe, happy, and well cared for. I work a part time job working with kids. I am at that job from 8:30am-1:30pm Monday-Friday. In the evening, I go to the gym for an hour or two. I am a homebody, so if I’m not at work or in the gym, I will be spending all my time with your pet, giving them the attention and love that they deserve. I love spending time outside, so I try to take pets on walks or have them run around outside with me when I can. If our time cannot be spent outside, playtime is brought inside. We play until one of us needs to take a breather (usually the pet wins). During the evening, generally I spend quality time cuddling with pets while watching a movie or doing some schoolwork. I like taking pictures with pets to send to owners so they know their fur baby is well taken care of and happy.

About: Hi! I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up babysitting tons of puppies and adult dogs. I also have a so much love for them and they make me so happy. I have lots of experience with small dogs! I have a house with an enclosed big backyard as well! I will never be leaving them at home and will cuddle and be able to play with them 24/7. I currently am a student and I don’t have classes everyday or another full time job! I have a lot of time to give to these dogs. I make sure the dog is comfortable and safe. My number one priority is having them be as relaxed as possible and enjoy their day! I will always be at home which allows for regular potty breaks and a fenced in backyard as well to maximize their playing time. I have tons of experience with puppies as well!

About: I've been entrusted with caring for family and friends of family's pets since I was around 15. I started working professionally with animals when I started volunteering with HEAL Animal Rescue and then working with Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley. I am now a Kennel Lead, mainly overseeing front desk operations and cat care, despite that I still work with the dogs at least once a day while I'm in! During my time there, I have learned to properly administer medication (oral, rectal, injection) as well as other medical procedures. I have a genuine passion for animal care and am enrolling in VTI to further expand my career going forward. I'm going to be moving to part time work for school, so I'll be able to make sure I have plenty of time to spend with your pet! I have worked with many pets before, including pets with behavioral issues (both big and small). About: I do work full-time, but am home in the evenings. I LOVE animals, but do not feel that I have the time needed to be a 'full time' caregiver. This is perfect for my lifestyle! I would treat your pet like a part of my family. I've always had dogs growing up and love having them as companions. I would walk your pet in the mornings and evenings. About: I have had dogs my whole life. I have the ability to be able to stay home with my family and my pets and care for them during the day and night making sure no one is ever alone ❤️ Currently a stay at home mom caring for my 5 year old and 1 year old twins! With being home I have all the time in the world to dedicate to your fur babies. We love adventures like playing in the fenced in yard, throwing ball and going on long walks. Of course there is always love and cuddle time scheduled in with us too We bought our house for our yard! Lots of room for playing outside in the safety of not having to worry about your pets roaming off. We have a crate available for dogs who need it and are crate trained. Of course only if the owner request will they be in it.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, I live on a farm and i love animals of all shapes and sizes! I have also house sit for two years in a row with a family friend who has 2 large dogs. I have house sit for weeks in a row including multiple walks and potty breaks! I am a full time student. I am still available most days but my school must come first. Every day except for Tuesday and Thursday I am available after 12. However, on Tuesdays and Thursdays I have class from 8am - 3 pm. About: My name is Darcy and I am a single Mom of 3 older girls , 3 dogs, and a very large boa! We are an animal loving family! I have had pets my whole life and worked full-time for a local Humane Society for over 4 years as well as a traditional boarding kennel for 2 years. About: I love dogs and have had two Bernese mountain dogs in my life who I provide with patient, attentive, loving care focused on comfort, exercise, safety and happiness 😊 I am currently home for the summer from college and am free during the week to help you with your pups. I am on the Womens basketball team at my college and do have workouts early in the mornings and occasionally in the afternoon. I take my dog for walks often and also pet sit my neighbor dogs when their owner is at work. They have a husky and a Havanese puppy. I love to play with them outside as well as take them for walks around the neighborhood. I also let them rest and chill if they need after we have been outside for a while.

Shy cats tend to walk right up to me. My husband and I have 2 daughters (Ages 10&5).
