About: Dogs have always been a part of my life; I’ve been around dogs since the age of 5. Growing up with dogs has helped me develop skills in order to take care of them. When my family and I adopted my Shi Zhu, he had numerous of kidney issues which meant I was responsible for providing him with his medication. We’ve adopted another dog named Lady and she enjoys going on hikes (especially if there’s a nearby creek for her to swim in). Not only do I care for my dogs at home, I’ve dog-sat for my neighbors, friends and family’s dogs; whenever i’m need, I’m always happy to take care of their dogs and go for walks. Of course I’m a dog lover but I cannot forget to mention my smaller pets; I had two parakeets growing up and currently have a fish and hamster which also receive my love and care for. About: I've been entrusted with caring for family and friends of family's pets since I was around 15. I started working professionally with animals when I started volunteering with HEAL Animal Rescue and then working with Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley. I am now a Kennel Lead, mainly overseeing front desk operations and cat care, despite that I still work with the dogs at least once a day while I'm in!
