I work overnights but throughout the week my husband works from home as well so someone is always around to care for your dog. About: Dogs have always been a part of my life; I’ve been around dogs since the age of 5. Growing up with dogs has helped me develop skills in order to take care of them. When my family and I adopted my Shi Zhu, he had numerous of kidney issues which meant I was responsible for providing him with his medication. We’ve adopted another dog named Lady and she enjoys going on hikes (especially if there’s a nearby creek for her to swim in). Not only do I care for my dogs at home, I’ve dog-sat for my neighbors, friends and family’s dogs; whenever i’m need, I’m always happy to take care of their dogs and go for walks. About: I started caring for animals at age 4 when I began riding and working at a barn with 25 horses. At age 14, I began my first job at a pet grooming and boarding facility. At 19, I began pet sitting for families on my summers home from college. Animals have always been a big part of my life and I enjoy spending my time with them. About: I’ve had dogs all my life and have taken great care to ensure they are as happy as can be! I also occasionally dog sit for some senior dogs in my area! I am currently available every day of the week! I am more than happy to take your babies on walks, drop in, or dog sit any day including weekends! At this time I do not have any other pets in my home, I have a huge yard in a quiet neighborhood, if your fur baby needs extra care or attention I am more than happy to provide it!

About: I have loved animals since I was a small child. I got my first cat over 15 years ago and still love her dearly. My parents wouldn’t allow me to have a dog so I had to wait until I moved out when I was 20. After buying my house I rescued my neighbors dog that was permanently locked up in an outdoor kennel. Unfortunately she already had Lyme disease so it was for less than a year that I was able to give her a good quality of life. I then adopted my ex-coworkers German Shepard who was 5. Unfortunately despite all my efforts to have her live longer than her lifespan I lost her years later due to paralyzing seizures. Not too long after that I sold my house and have not been stable enough to get another dog due to my constant traveling. I love dogs and want to have another but can’t make a life long commitment at this time. However I can make a day/week/month long commitment to take care of your loved dog. It would be a pleasure to take care of your fur baby/babies. I work from home so I’m only gone for a couple/few hours out of the day to go to the gym and maybe grocery shop. I frequently go on walks when the weather permits and would love to bring your dog with me. If you have a dog who pulls as hard as they can I do prefer that you have a gentle leader. I am available all days and times when I am not traveling. I have a large yard at the end of a cul-de-sac in a nice neighborhood. I do have two cats who have lived with dogs before. If watching your loved pet I ask for details on what your expectations are to insure that you are 100 percent satisfied with my care for your fur baby.

About: I’m Emily! A little about me: I love to run, lift, paint, and read. I am currently a student at the University of Pittsburgh studying Speech Pathology and Audiology who’s home for the summer! I've been a pet owner myself for about 5 years now. My family currently has three cats and has had a dog and another cat in the past. Within the last seven years I have dog and cat sat for a lot of my extended family and friends. I'm currently on the hunt for a part-time job for the summer, so I have plenty of time on my hands to look after and care for pets. I also have my own car and am hanging out with friends a lot, so I am always around. I am very diligent with making sure doors and windows are shut and locked to ensure that your pets do not go in or out (if they're indoor pets/ not on a leash) as I have to do that with my own pets! I also realize as it grows hotter, animals become dehydrated and hot as well, and I am careful to make sure water bowls are filled, and there is water during walks as well.
About: I have experience in puppy obedience training and leash training, oral medication administration, experience handling dogs of all ages and sizes, especially with caring for stubborn dogs. Also I am very familiar with taking care of pups with anxiety or different fears. I am a full time student at Boston University, but have long breaks throughout my day where I could care for nearby pets in need of attention or walks, meaning lunchtime check ins or walks work particularly well with my schedule. I am happy to follow any preferences you have for pet care, including crating your dog (I have extensive experience crate training an unruly giant schnauzer puppy), leash preferences, and feeding schedules. I typically bring water bowls and extra water for my dogs on walks to keep them feeling their best and treats to keep them engaged (treat type depending on what your dog typically eats).

About: I've been entrusted with caring for family and friends of family's pets since I was around 15. I started working professionally with animals when I started volunteering with HEAL Animal Rescue and then working with Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley. I am now a Kennel Lead, mainly overseeing front desk operations and cat care, despite that I still work with the dogs at least once a day while I'm in! During my time there, I have learned to properly administer medication (oral, rectal, injection) as well as other medical procedures. I have a genuine passion for animal care and am enrolling in VTI to further expand my career going forward. I have my own organic dog treats business and I will take care of your babies as I do my own! I am currently working a full-time from home with my pups.
