“Had a last minute same day request for our 6 month old puppy Zari! Rebecca responded immediately and was able to accommodate the drop in/walk visit! Communication was excellent. We will be utilizing her again in the future.”

“Paul was a blessing! We needed a last minute sitter to take Josie for a walk, and he was very accommodating. I definitely appreciated the pictures he took of her along the way. Paul will be hired again next time for sure!”

“Professional, kind, and friendly. My dog was staying with my mom while I was out of town- and Nicole helped us out with walks. My dog was very excited to see Nicole at walking times and my mom said Nicole was very pleasant each time during Mox’s pick up!”

“Vivian and her family have been helping take care of our little pup, Ebby, for a little less than 3 months now and I cannot say enough good things about her. She is so reliable, loves Ebby like she’s her own, and updates us daily with pictures and videos during their walks. We could not work full time and give our energetic puppy the attention she needs without her help. Thank you for all that you do!”

“My dog Wally gets so excited when he sees Richard as he knows he's in for a great time. Richard is always on time, polite, and willing to help. Which is my first contact with Rover and I couldn't be more pleased.”

About: I’ve dog sat and dog walked since I was 16 years old. It was my first ever job. I absolutely loved taking care of peoples pets. I have a background in special needs dogs (including tripods, timed medications, elderly pups, etc). I only work 4 days a week as a nurse so on my days off I enjoy walking my dog. However, I recently learned about this app and hope to help other dog owners out by walking their pets for them when they can’t! I treat everyone’s pet like my own. I love dogs because they are so pure and sweet! They are better than most people, haha! I will send frequent updates and photos whenever possible as well.
About: I spent my life growing up in a household full of animals. From large dogs to small dogs, to kittens & cats, I will love & care for your furry family member as if they were my own. I also have experience in walking small & large dogs, as well as our fur-legged friends who may not have much experience on a leash! I currently work remotely from my home full-time. I am available to step away during the day and take your animal for potty breaks. If there were to be an emergency, I can do my best to show up for that as well! I currently do not offer the service of house-sitting in my own home… for your pets comfort and my own pets! If an emergency were to pop-up, or we establish a relation as pet-owner/pet, I would be happy to reconsider this on a case-to-case basis.
About: I have been around animals all my life and have petsit(and babysit!) for over 5 years! I love long walks and taking care of pets, catering to their specific needs and what makes them happy. In addition to this, I love daily long walks and would love to take your pet with me! I have a lot of training in different tempers of dogs and cats and make sure to treat each animals according to its needs. I will make sure to let dogs out often to potty and keep all animals entertained according to your standards. I can administer medicine and give food on a timed schedule. I understand how important it is that your cat or dog gets proper care. You can always tell me if you want me to give your dog or cat a training session or extra play time. It’s up to you!
“Tara is a very positive person and was also attentive to my dog’s needs. My dog, Mickey was excited to see her and interact with her during the meet and greet session. He has had minimal caregivers in his life and I thought he might be a little shy or passive with Tara, but he was not! She helped him feel at ease right away. She communicated with me and sent pictures during her visit, which I greatly appreciated. I will definitely ask Tara to visit Mickey again in the future.”
About: Hi! I’m a certified professional dog groomer. Growing up, my father owned a kennel which provided me with tons of experience to start with. I started out with therapy training before going to a local grooming academy. I’ve also been house-sitting for four years with regular daily clients. I took a short break from house-sitting to focus on graduating from grooming school, and now I’m excited to get back to providing in-home pet care. Dogs have been a huge part of my life and career, and I genuinely love what I do. Over the years, I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities — from playful puppies to seniors and nervous pups. I’m very attentive to routines, behavior cues, and making sure each dog feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for in their own home. My background in grooming and dog training has given me a strong understanding of canine behavior, handling, and positive reinforcement. I’m patient, calm, and always focused on creating a positive experience for your dog. I know how important it is to trust someone with both your pet and your home. I treat every dog like they’re my own, respect your space, and communicate clearly. I’m always happy to send updates and photos while you’re away so you can relax knowing everything is in good hands. I’d love to meet you and your dog and help however I can — whether that’s walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care! I am currently grooming part time- and I have morning/afternoon walks that I tend to. My schedule can be pretty flexible depending on needs of your pup(s)! I provide loving, reliable care for dogs right in the comfort of their own home. That means keeping their routine as normal as possible — feeding on schedule, potty breaks, walks or playtime, and plenty of attention and cuddles. I make sure your pup feels safe and happy while you’re away, and I always follow your instructions carefully.
“Amber arrived right on time and Sam took to her immediately. She listened carefully while I gave her all the little details of the behavior to expect while walking him around the neighborhood. Amber sent pictures during his walk. Sam showed no signs of being anxious to get back in the house when they returned which was a good sign he had a positive time exploring. All in all a perfect choice for us.”

About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life and just recently lost my boxer/american bulldog girl. I am not ready to get another pup of my own, but am ready to give yours some love and attention! :) I'm a stay-at-home mommy so lots of time to care for your pets at your house or mine. Happy to be super flexible and accommodate last minute needs. I am happy to follow your routines for in-house visits/walks and for boarding/daycare services, I have a big yard and a large crate if your dog needs that!
About: I have been caring for pets for over ten years. I previously had a beagle and now I have a miniature pinscher that I spoil! Whether it’s a playful pup or a shy senior cat, I’m happy to keep your pet comfortable while you are away. I am currently in my gap year between my undergraduate studies and physician assistant school. My daily and weekly schedule is mostly open and I have lots of flexibility! Your pet’s safety and wellbeing will always be my top priority. I am a detail-oriented and organized person that will follow instructions precisely. I treat every pet like my own and understand how important it is to build relationships with animals and their owners.
About: Hi! My name is Plachette, and I've lived with various pets since I was a child. My father was a dog breeder (pitbulls <3), so being surrounded by puppies and dogs is something I've become accustomed to! I have experience with dog walking and sitting multiple breeds at once and administering medication as instructed. While dog sitting at your home, I'll also tend to any messes that are made, bring your newspapers/packages/mail, and give you thorough daily updates of what's going on around the home. Upon request I'm able to provide proof of having 5 star ratings for 150+ services I've already completed for other pet parents. For dog walks, I'm capable of handling small to gigantic dogs. I can work with dogs that pull. I prefer to use a waist leash (I have my own) while walking dogs since it allows me to be hands free and have more control with your pet. Of course, if you prefer your pet's own leash, that's fine too. :) I am self-employed so I am able to make my own schedule for work days and hours. If extended stays or additional pets need longer periods of care, I can adjust to these changes. When pet owners provide me with particular details on how to care for their pets (feeding schedules, administering medication, crating, etc.), I will be a able to provide proper care for any pet.
About: I started training dogs at a very young age, and decided to make it into a career a few years ago. I specialize in fearful and reactive dogs, the overlooked and misunderstood. I have open availability Saturday through Tuesday! Even on the other days I am working, I’m always working with dogs. We can always work around work schedules If your dog is up for it- I will include your dog in my daily life as if they’re part of the family. If they prefer a place to be calm by themselves, I have a few runs to offer for that as well. I also do in home training, as well as meeting up at dog friendly locations depending on the need of the dog.

Export dog parents share their Rover experiences
Nicole is wonderful. I knew that she was the perfect fit at our meet and greet. She has a very calm demeanor that is perfect with animals. Less than 5 minutes after she walked in the door, my cat was rubbing against her and wanting petted. He was smitten immediately. My dog, who was her real client, also fell for her after his initial normal barking when he tries to prove that he is not really an 8-pound dog. He kept going over to get more love and didn’t want her to leave. She is doing a great job with my dog and gives me peace of mind when I am at work. I recommend Nicole highly.
