About: Hi! My (preferred) name is Daisy & I've been taking care of dogs ever since we adopted my very first canine best friend in 2011! Friends and family have trusted me to take care of their fur babies and I've been handling & working with dogs almost every day for almost two years as a doggy daycare attendant, kennel staff, special pup advisor, and group coordinator. I love taking them on walks and practicing sits, stays, downs, give paws, etc... I absolutely love all animals and promise to take care of your babies as if they were my own! I currently work part-time so I'll have plenty of time to check in on & spend with your pets! I'm available Saturdays before 12pm, Sundays all day, & most holidays before 3pm. Weekday hours vary and I will always be super transparent about my availability! Your pets' safety is important to me so please feel free to leave detailed instructions and I will follow them to a T. I will also keep consistent contact with you, providing (p)updates with photos! I can crate your dog(s) if needed as well. I'm also Red Cross animal first aid certified. I've handled several scuffles and am able to remain calm in any situation that may arise. Your pet will always be safe with me!

“Michelle did an absolutely phenomenal job! She was extremely responsive & communicative -- the many photos she sent each visit made it very clear that our babies felt safe and comfortable with her. She followed instructions perfectly and left everything tidy for our return. I couldn't be happier that I've found a forever sitter for my babies! I highly recommend Michelle and rate the overall service with Rover as excellent. Thank you! 😻😻😻”

If you have any small companian animals, reptiles, or feathered friends that need care please feel free to ask me! I’ve cared for pets ranging from reptiles and fish, to senior dogs and cats, to puplies and brand new kittens. At 19, I adopted my first dog, a Bull Mastiff, and raised him from a 6-week-old puppy to a 140-pound adult. I’ve also cared for my family’s cats after my mother passed, and I lovingly adopted a 12-year-old Cairn Terrier, providing him with care until his passing at 16.5 years. While I have no formal training, I have a natural ability to train animals with patience and love, always using a firm yet gentle approach. I go to Argentina for a couple months every winter so I can’t responsibly own pets of my own, but I am built to be around them! I need animals in my life so this is as much for me as it is for you. I work remotely so I have a lot of flexibility especially when it comes to sitting or walking from my home or town. I can be very attentive to your animal to whatever fits their comfort level. I am very active so am I game for hikes, walks, and lots of playing, but can also enjoy a nice sit and snuggle with an elderly friend. I live alone so there would be no triggers from children, other animals, etc. once they’re in my house. I live walking distance from several trails and parks. I also love taking dogs for car rides! Whatever they wish. I am very attentive so I ensure your baby will be content and cared for to the best of our ability.

JENNA S.
“Jenna is the most trusted, dedicated and loving parent when it comes to her 3 dogs. The amount of love, time and effort she gives to them is simply unparalleled. I believe any dog or pet for that matter would be incredibly lucky to have Jenna care for them. As far as the owners go, I can assure you they would feel assured and have no worries when they have someone as passionate about animals as Jenna is.”

Shawna S.
“Shawna is a pet whisperer! Shawna is absolutely amazing! She has been watching my sassy beagle-basset hound for years, even through the chaotic, chew-everything-in-sight puppy stage — and she’s been nothing short of incredible every single time. Her patience, love, and calm energy are unmatched. My dog absolutely adores her, and I always know he's in the best hands. Shawna is also one of the very few people my feisty (and honestly, kind of mean) cat tolerates — which speaks volumes. Shawna always keeps me updated with thoughtful messages and adorable pictures, which makes me feel totally at ease when I’m away. If you’re looking for someone responsible, kind, and genuinely amazing with all kinds of pet personalities, Shawna is your person. She’s reliable, communicative, and truly treats your pets like they’re her own. I couldn’t imagine a better petsitter. If you’re lucky enough to book her, do it — your pets will thank you!”

Kristi C.
“Kristi has been a dog owner and dog lover all her life. She grew up with German Shepherds, and has owned 4 dogs of her own. She is comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes, and is capable of caring for animals properly no matter their special requirements. Kristi has been through many canine training courses, and has trained all of her own dogs basic skills like listening to commands and walking on a leash without pulling. Kristi is a loving mother of 3, a very responsible individual, and is perfectly suited to care for your dog.”

Anna K.
“In all the years I have known her, which is 17, Anna has proved to be a kind and caring pet owner. We have taken her dogs for safe icecream together, she introduced me to her birds and let me hold them for the very first time in my life, and she has done the effort in saving and rescuing pet store fish. These are only the great things I can think of off the top of my head. Time after time Anna proves to be an amazing pet owner, and I know she would take good care of your babies, too.”

Kristina Y.
“Kristina has proven to be an excellent dog watcher. He is so kind and careful with my dog and really knows what she is doing.”

Alexis F.
“Alexis Fallon is a dog owner and a dog walker in Ithaca, NY. She also has experience working as a dog groomer. She has a passion for taking care of animals and enjoys spending time with them. Alexis is trustworthy, conscientious, and dependable and often goes above and beyond to do a great job. I give her my highest recommendation.”

Siobhan R.
“Siobhan has been helping me care for my 3 cats and 2 dogs - black lab and white retriever - for over ten years. They love her and she does a great job giving them love and attention. My black lab is deaf and is mostly blind and Siobhan has a special bond with her. She feeds them and can handle taking our white retriever who is not super well-trained for walks. I would highly recommend her!”

Lydia B.
“Lydia is one of the most caring and compassionate people I know. She has a big heart for animals and would take amazing care of your pets. I have seen her love for animals and the way she tenderly and responsibly cares for them. I highly recommend hiring Lydia!”

Clarence Center pet parents share their Rover experiences
This was my first experience using Rover, and first time hiring a walker while out of town as opposed to family. I tend to over worry, so needless to say this was terrifying to consider. Makayla was AMAZING. She stopped to meet the dogs prior to booking, and they loved her. I immediately felt at ease. Makayla stopped in as scheduled for potty breaks and meals, sent update messages and photos and took excellent care of our dogs. Will book again with Makayla! Thank you!!!
