About: Looking for a loving & fun home away from home for your pet? Look no further! With a golden retriever of my own, for the past 7 years I've taken care of my dog along with 10 other dogs from time to time for periods as short as a couple of days to a couple of months. I'm a recent college graduate home for the summer working remotely that is ready to attend to all of your pet's needs! I can easily integrate their schedule into mine Having a large dog for the past 9 years, our house is "dog proof" while also containing all the amenities (big fenced in yard, toys galore, & a furry companion) any pet needs, your pet will also be on vacation! I can also quickly get acquainted with the safety features & layout of your house! I will make sure to ask any questions that are relevant to dogsitting at your house to make sure your dog's daily routine isn't disrupted

About: I am a recent college graduate. I work at two concert venues on most evenings. I love working with dogs and being around dogs. I am able to commute around Denver and can stop by frequently to check on your pet. I really enjoy going on hikes around Colorado mostly in Boulder, I am able to take your dog to a trail to hike to make the walk more enjoyable for the dog. I have 4 dogs of my own. I have volunteered for the Colorado puppy rescue for 4 years while I was in high school. I am able to stay overnight with a pet after I get off work and during the day most of the week. “Mindy provided day care for my aunt's dog, Sassy, while we visited Niagara Falls from Arkansas. Sassy had never been under someone else's care and my aunt was nervous about leaving her with a "stranger". But Mindy was wonderful and allowed us to come for a 'meet and greet' when we arrived in town the day before our booking. My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. She was also wonderful about sending pictures and videos especially that first day and that made us feel better about leaving her. By the second day Sassy was comfortable going straight to Mindy when we arrived. Also, she was very flexible regarding drop off and pick up times.”

She played with Murmaid all day, I could tell, because when my baby got in the vehicle she went right to sleep and that never happens with this high energy Boston Terrier 10 month old. Growing up with a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and reptiles, I’ve developed a deep understanding of their needs. At 19, I adopted my first dog, a Bull Mastiff, and raised him from a 6-week-old puppy to a 140-pound adult. I’ve also cared for my family’s cats after my mother passed, and I lovingly adopted a 12-year-old Cairn Terrier, providing him with care until his passing at 16.5 years. While I have no formal training, I have a natural ability to train animals with patience and love, always using a firm yet gentle approach. I’m experienced in handling a variety of species, including reptiles like ball pythons and geckos, and have even assisted with rescuing wildlife. I live alone, lost the last of my own critters, and am a seasonal traveler.
