David & Cathy B.
“David and Cathy were brilliant when it came to watching Ruby for two days. They really helped in putting my mind at ease and seeing they had a loving home and a companion for my pup to play with only furthered this notion. They were flexible and worked around my schedule allowing me to make last minute changes and I certainly intend to utilize their services again in the future.”
“I chose Danielle to watch my two mini schnauzers! This was my first time leaving my pets in ANYONES care and I couldn’t have had a better experience. She sent photos and updates all day while we were visiting Niagara Falls! She’s very kind and when we come back I will be booking with her again!”
“Natalie was wonderful! We were in town and were very worried about handing over our very attached dog. Natalie kept me updated and sent pictures and video. Our dog had a wonderful time! Natalie was also very flexible with time changes. I would absolutely use her services again, I wish we lived closer!!”
About: My husband and I have owned and loved at cars and dogs, and we used to breed golden retrievers. We grew up as farmers and have tons of experience with all sorts of breeds of dogs and love them all. We have the space and time to take good care of your fry babies. Animals and their welfare are our passion 💗 I only work part time as an RN and my hours are very flexible. My husband and I are home-bodies who honestly don’t leave home much. We crate our dogs at night in our home, and they hang out with us during the day! They have free range of our house, but are able to be separated from other animals.

She is a very sweet lady who obviously loves dogs and made ours feel at home in her comfortable home and nice fenced-in yard. In every way Monica was awesome! Anyone should feel comfortable leaving their dogs in her care.”

About: During summers while I was in high school I worked at horse boarding stables learning the basics of animal husbandry as well as medication administration for large animals, and this primed me to work with animals in the future. Following that, all through college I worked in animal welfare at my local Humane Society filling many positions. Positions ranging from volunteer, dog care attendant, triage, post surgical, and I finished out my time there as an animal control officer. When I wasn’t working at the shelter I was volunteering either bathing animals preparing them for adoption or just walking for miles and miles to make sure that they felt fulfilled when everyone went home at the end of the day. Post college I became deeply involved in animal behavior as well as sport training with my personal dog a German Shepherd who had a whole slew of issues when I first adopted her. I am no stranger to animals with behavioral issues or personal struggles. I welcome the opportunity to build relationships in a calm and constructive environment with all animals whether my personal pets or yours. I have dog sat for friends and coworkers for the last three years and I am excited to extend the offer to other members of the community. I prioritize building relationships with the animals in my care, be aware that any animal I am boarding will be in a home environment and will be treated just like my pet during the time that you were not there. If they are overstimulated too easily I do have a separate room designated only to dogs, where they can lay down in a quiet space away from other stimulation. I have a fenced in yard where we can play lots of fetch and tug or just sniff and chase the squirrels. If you can provide me with a list of tricks that your dog knows I would make sure to keep them mentally stimulated as well as physically during their stay here. My goal is to treat your pets as I treat mine. My schedule is two days on two days off with a sliding weekends long days but frequent days off. I am not the dog sitter for extended trips but I do have long weekends every other week. My schedule will not make me very marketable as a multi-day dog sitter, but it will work for some and those are the families that I hope to be able to assist. As it is I use Rover on my workdays to let my dog out in the afternoon for a potty breaks. Because I work 12 hour shifts if it is a workday I will not be taking boards. I have a fenced in yard and one dog in the home. If our dogs get along you can expect that they will be in the backyard playing fetch together or working through some tricks in the house so that everyone can nap well both physically and mentally exhausted. I do permit animals on the couch as long as they were respectful of space if I feel that dogs are getting too rowdy in the house I usually do let everyone go outside or mandate time to lay down and relax. I am fully able of providing meals on schedule as well as medication if need be , my personal dog only eats once a day in the evening. I have space to separate any animals who are feeling overwhelmed or would just like to relax on their own. I spend most of my days-off in the yard with my dog working on tricks and obedience playing with our ball or chasing sticks. We are avid hikers and if the weather permits I try to get us out on either trails or extended walks multiple times a week and if it’s an inside type of day, we are still working obedience and I’ll keep a cup of her dog food out set aside during the day so that I can play brain games with her and reward her freely.
“Jackie was amazing I would definitely recommend her for your pet, she gave coco food and kept him hydrated, she took care of him well, he was healthy and fine after the daycare, he would have stomach problems after visiting some houses but Jackie was perfect. I have sent coco twice and would repeat in future as well”
“Kherysten is absolutely incredible! She has been an animal lover as long as I’ve known her and has always done well with all kinds of animals, even tricky dog breeds like Shibas!”
“Madeline came to my house for a weekend to check in on my cats and spend time with my dog while I was away. She maintained great communication with regards to their well being and what activities were being done with the animals during each visit. I was extremely impressed with her communication, professionalism, and care taken in looking after them. Would recommend Madeline!”
