“As all true dog lovers know, a dog is not just a pet, it is a member of the family. As such, I am very cautious about where and who I leave my dog with. As we had never had to leave our Violet with anyone, my wife and I were very worried when we had to leave our girl for almost 2 weeks. We did not feel comfortable boarding her at a kennel as we didn’t think she would respond well to that environment. So, we went to Rover to see if we could find someone we thought would be a good fit for our Violet. After reading multiple write ups on various Rover sitters, we found Erika who we thought looked like a good fit and was close to our home. At our meet and greet with Erika, my wife and I had perfect peace as we met with Erika and saw the home where Violet would be staying. Erika had a warm and inviting home, a fenced in backyard, and the perfect playmate, ( her dog Huxley) for our girl Violet. My wife and I decided immediately that this home and sitter would be the perfect fit for Violet. We were not disappointed! Erika loved our Violet as much as she loved her own dog and showered her with love and affection. She sent us daily pictures and videos of Violet and her dog playing, napping, and just having a wonderful time. She was having so much fun. We jokingly, worried that Violet wouldn’t want to come home with us after spending time with Erika. Ha Ha. In summary, any dog would be lucky to spend time with Erika. She is an amazing person and we were so happy we found her. This app only let me put in a rating of 5 stars, but if I could have, I would have put in 10 or more stars in rating her performance. We would definitely use Erika again in the future, if and when we needed to board our Violet. My only worry is that after reading my review of Erika, everyone will want to board with her and I won’t be able to have my Violet stay with her when I next need her. Ha ha.”

If you have any small companian animals, reptiles, or feathered friends that need care please feel free to ask me! The goal of my job is to relieve the stress you may have from not being able to come home to your beloved pets, or to know that they are in safe hands if you go on a trip. I do have a full-time job near Clarence, NY. I work 7:30am to 4pm Monday through Friday. I do get hour long lunches and can stop for lunch visits if you are close. As a veterinary technician I can monitor your pet more closely in case they are sick. Since I do not know your pet or how they react in certain situations, I would take extra caution when going outside or for walks to make sure I keep them safe.

About: I absolutely adore animals but especially dogs, I worked at a dog kennel for two years, which has helped me to gain experience around dogs of any and all different sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments/requirements. I have been dog sitting/walking and doing overnight stays for 3 years and take great pride in taking care of your pet as if they’re my own! I am working part time at a kennel right now, however my shifts are very short (5 hours max but typically 2.5-3 hours). I get my schedule on a week to week basis, so if you want to guarantee that I have the availability to watch your pup, let me know at least 2 weeks in advance and I will happily request off from work to help you out (please still feel free to reach out even if its less than 2 weeks in advance, I likely will still be able to help you out). Having such short shifts, im available for pop-ins and walks the majority of the day, however there should be no problem with staying overnight as my latest shift is from 8:15-9:15pm at the kennel for let out. I will care for your pet as if it’s my own to ensure their safety and enjoyment for the time I am with them, as well as making sure your home is safe while you are away. I will follow any and all instructions that are given to me to guarantee everything runs smoothly and that your pup has a great and safe time!

About: - I have a 3 yr old rescue named Maisy who deals with reactivity so we no longer offer boarding or daycare in our home. I also have a 9 year old Belgian Malinois who my boyfriend rescued from animal fighting. She is sweet as pie and a people lover. Both of my dogs have undergone training programs at the art of dog. She is fabulous! About 20 min into their stay with her, she messaged me pictures of them Playing and lounging around . She continued to send me pics daily of them showing me how they were, which was very relieving! The very last day one of my dogs was experiencing loose poops (we think it was just from the heat) which she also had messaged me about prior to pick up . My dog has an accident in her house which I felt terrible about but she was so easy going and sweet about it which was really nice , since I felt so bad! I would take my dogs back to her in a heartbeat! They loved their stay with her and we enjoyed our vacation without worrying about our doggies! She is also very reasonable! I would recommend her 100%!”
“Nichole took such good care of our dog, Juniper! She was so well cared for and enjoyed playing with Nichole's dog. Nichole sent lots of pictures and updates and even went as far as to clean her ears when she saw they were irritated. We could not recommend her more!”

“Raisa took wonderful care of our dog, Bonita! We could tell Bonita had a fun and comfortable stay, and she almost did not want to leave. Raisa went above and beyond by giving Bonita extra home-cooked dog food and comforting her during loud noises and thunderstorms. Bonita also loved spending time with her daughter and husband too. “Melissa and Gregory were incredible! This was our first time using Rover and they put us immediately at ease. They welcomed our rambunctious puppy into their home with open arms, making us feel confident that he would be well taken care of. He had some tummy troubles going on when we had to leave and they were so understanding, telling us not to worry. He made a mess in his crate one night because of this and they were so understanding, not bothered at all. They cooked up his brat diet (ground beef and rice) for several days until his stomach was working better. Leo came back to us healthy and happy. I highly recommend Melissa and Greg - they are just super!”
