About: I absolutely adore animals but especially dogs, I worked at a dog kennel for two years, which has helped me to gain experience around dogs of any and all different sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments/requirements. I have been dog sitting/walking and doing overnight stays for 3 years and take great pride in taking care of your pet as if they’re my own! I am working part time at a kennel right now, however my shifts are very short (5 hours max but typically 2.5-3 hours). I get my schedule on a week to week basis, so if you want to guarantee that I have the availability to watch your pup, let me know at least 2 weeks in advance and I will happily request off from work to help you out (please still feel free to reach out even if its less than 2 weeks in advance, I likely will still be able to help you out). Having such short shifts, im available for pop-ins and walks the majority of the day, however there should be no problem with staying overnight as my latest shift is from 8:15-9:15pm at the kennel for let out. I will care for your pet as if it’s my own to ensure their safety and enjoyment for the time I am with them, as well as making sure your home is safe while you are away. I will follow any and all instructions that are given to me to guarantee everything runs smoothly and that your pup has a great and safe time!

About: My biggest concern while I’m away on vacation is “how are my dogs doing?” They are like my children. I have used Rover in the past to watch my dogs and home while I’m on vacation. I want to be that trustworthy person for someone else. I have ALWAYS been an animal lover! I have rescued dogs, I’ve fostered dogs and watched dogs for friends and family. I have two Golden Retrievers at home who love to have company come over and play in the fenced in backyard. I am looking forward to taking care of your Furbaby like they are my own I work Full-time but am able to leave for lunch to take care of any pets needs during the day. Right now I go home everyday on lunch and spend time with my dogs. I have a fenced in backyard and 2 Golden Retrievers who love to have company! At this time, if I watch your dog in my home, he/she would need to be crated while I’m at work. They would be crated no longer than 4 hours unless I make other arrangements with my job, where I could come home more frequently.

He can be a little intimidating with his barking when someone new is on his property, but Jen was unfazed and just took her time meeting him. He immediately warmed up to her and they did great together. Besides exercise and feeding/watering, Jen administered eye drops and pills every day, lots of belly rubs and play time. She was punctual, trustworthy, and provided updates on all the things a pet parent needs to know, to be sure their pet is getting high quality care. Highly recommended!”

While I generally keep a typical 9–5 schedule, my workday is flexible, and I can take breaks as needed. I do have occasional meetings during the day and, depending on proximity, may step out briefly to check on my own dogs—but your pet’s care, comfort, and safety are always my top priority. I believe the best care comes from keeping your dog’s routine as close to yours as possible, all in the comfort of their own home. I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet before a sit so I can get to know you and your dog, learn their daily routine, and familiarize myself with the home and surrounding area. I always recommend sharing a simple “guide” or list of your dog’s schedule—feeding, potty breaks, medication, walks, playtime, and any special preferences. I’ve cared for dogs with all types of personalities, and understanding their quirks and behavioral patterns helps ensure a smooth, stress-free experience. For example, I like to know how they do on walks, whether they’re an escape artist or more of a Velcro pup, and how they react around other dogs. When it comes to walks, I’m comfortable walking two small dogs at the same time, and since it’s just me, I prefer one larger dog at a time. In addition to pet care, I’m also happy to help with light house-sitting tasks while you’re away, such as watering plants, bringing in mail and packages, and keeping an eye on the home. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible, knowing both your dog and your home are being well cared for.

About: Animal experience includes working at a grooming shop and walking and babysitting a handful of dogs for several years, as well as always having dogs of my own. I have experience and am comfortable with big, small, shy, nervous, aggressive, sick, traumatized and old animals, so I can handle whatever your pet might throw my way. About: Welcome to my profile! For the past six years, I have studied and worked in Brooklyn, and I have delighted in walking and sitting dogs through Rover in each neighborhood I have lived in. Since moving away from home and having to leave the dogs I grew up with behind I love finding opportunities to spend time with animals and build trust and communication with them. My experience includes volunteering for animal rescues in DC and in Peru, sitting professionally for clients, and for friends, family, and neighbors, and working with positive reinforcement trainers for my family's dogs back home, who are reactive. I enjoy going on long walks, hikes, runs, and exploring the city, so if your dog is high energy, a puppy, or just needs a lot of stimulation and exercise, we would be a great fit! I also have experience watching older dogs or lower-energy breeds who simply need a calm place to stay. I can accommodate most schedules and reasonable requests, feel free to message if you have any questions and tell me more about your pup! One bonus - my apartment has an elevator and primate balcony with a potty area, so frequent potty breaks can be accommodated. Open to pickup and drop off, and last minute requests. I work at a lab 3 days a week, though I might have to go in on my off days to complete various tasks. Weekday sits work best for my schedule. My apartment is pretty dog-proofed. I make sure not to leave out anything toxic to dogs (gum, chocolate, etc...) and to put away anything I would not want to get destroyed. I am open to continuing any training you might have with your dog, such as sitting and waiting before a meal or ignoring other dogs on a walk.

About: I have a big house with room to run and play. I'm happy taking care of the puppies and dogs that aren't quite fully potty trained. My family dog in Florida is not spayed so I have experience with females in heat. I don't mind cleaning up messes because the house is all mine. I have 2 small dogs living with me that are very spoiled. My little Einstein has allergies so I buy him special food, shampoo, conditioner, etc to help with his itchy skin. He is a quiet little one who loves meeting new pups. My little Lola loves to cuddle and chew on her bone. You can be certain that your dog will be spoiled too. I also have 2 cats, Harley and Quinn, who have their own room where they love to play. As for me, I'm a Preschool Teacher. My work is right down the road so I come home and let my dogs out during lunch. My dogs go out every couple hours when I'm home. Spending time with my dogs and cats is probably one of my greatest joys.
