About: I have had a dog in the house since I was born. The first dog adopted in my family was a rescue mix named Bosco. The second dog we adopted was a sheepdog spaniel mixed named Arlo. The current dog that we have and adopted in 2020 is a 6 year old rescue blue heeler, chihuahua mix. Every dog I have adopted has had a unique personality. Getting to know each individual personality is a strong suit of mine as I love to bond with each pet uniquely as they all truly have their own needs and wants that need to be adapted to. :) I am a travel physical therapist from NY! I’m on a temporary contract here in SC, and I would love to care for your pup as I miss my buddy Mylo who is my family dog back in NY. My schedule would allow me to care for your pup some weekday mornings, abd some evenings depending on the weekday. I am available both weekend days all day! :) I am used to dogs that require high energy but also love to care for dogs with lower energy too! My pup at home is a high energy dog that requires lots of physical activity and loves to play while staying mentally involved! However, if your dog just needs a companion and some tummy rubs, I would love to provide that too :)

About: I have 2 cats with eye problems and took another in who was severely malnourished. Under my care, they are all thriving and loved. I also love dogs, and dog owners trust me because of my reliability and transparency. My favorite dog that I have ever taken care of is a corgi! I am currently a student with a regular routine, allowing me to be reliable for your pet's needs. Your pet would be my #1 priority, and any other plans would be kept to an absolute minimum. I love taking dogs on walks and playing with them to release some of their energy. I have been practicing dog training, which will also keep your dog occupied while you are gone. I always ensure that food and small objects are kept out of the way to avoid any health concerns, and watch your pet closely while outside or eating.

Some of my experience includes in-home sitting for various dogs for multiple years, fostering with Boot n' Kit Canine Rescue with over 16 8-week-old puppies, fostering with Buddy's Second Chance Rescue for dogs newborn-senior, and volunteering in general with Buddy's Second Chance Rescue. About: I have taken care of animals for family and friends for a few years now and want to expanded into caring into looking after the pets if other family’s that want to travel but unfortunately cannot bring their animals with them. I currently work in a restaurant as a line cook and have 5-8 hour days starting as early as 2pm and ending as late as 10pm so I am able to mostly do morning care and late night care but I can adjust my schedule as needed for emergency’s. I am able to adapt to any type of care needed including daily training or cleanup if needed and love to take my own dogs on walks and just relax with them when they are tired.

About: Throughout the years I have dogsat/pet sat for numerous family members and various other individuals. I am experienced in dogs of old age, puppies (and their shark phase lol), dogs with dementia, smaller dogs (yorkies, etc). For my current boss, I have watched her pitbull puppy numerous times whilst multitasking and watching a toddler. Also, a fun fact is I adopted a dog of my own from nickel city canine rescue. His name is bluey and he is just over a year old. I know the challenges that come with dogs, due to the when I got him he was reserved, untrained, and very scared of people walking up to him. Now after many training sessions and lots of patience and love me and him have become social butterflies. To summarize; I have skills in taking care of senior dogs, dogs with dementia/disabilities, a variety of puppy ages, and training puppies basic commands (sit, wait for food, ring potty bells, etc). About: I have been able to take care of animals (dogs and cats) since age 5 as I had pets throughout my whole life. I have also briefly owned horses building the skillset of hygiene care for larger animals. I absolutely love dogs. I have had experience with small dogs all the way up to English Mastiff and Ridgeback sizes. I have been a helpful pet sitter for many family members and some friends. About: I have loved animals all my life. I think they really are a part of a family, and they deserve to be absolutely spoiled and shown all the love they can take I am self-employed so I have a very flexible schedule. I don’t work a regular 9 to 5 so I am home longer than the average person I make sure to take care of all of their needs. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
