Kimmie is always my go to person. This time she had some issues with one of our pets getting sick. The directions we left her were confusing so she called us. I always appreciate receiving a call from Kimmie, especially to let me know one of our pets was sick. We cleared up the medication instructions and when I got home my pet was well on the way back to health. Thank you Kimmie for being so responsive and calling me.

About: My love for caring for dogs began at a young age while helping care for friends dogs, and has grown into meaningful hands on experience at Dogtopia, a doggy daycare, where I work in both reception and canine coaching. As a canine coach, I provide attentive care, clean up after dogs, monitor their behavior, assist with training, and help create a safe, positive environment where every pup feels comfortable and loved. I have also completed canine coaching health classes to strengthen my knowledge of canine wellness and safety. I’m passionate about continuing to grow my skills and plan to return to school to pursue a career as a vet tech. Your pets’ safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities, and I strive to care for every pup with the same patience, attention, and love I would want for my own. House sitting fits seamlessly into my schedule and allows me to provide dependable, attentive care while maintaining my full-time career. I take pride in being organized, responsible, and respectful of each pet’s individual routine and each client’s home. I’m able to plan my daily schedule around the needs of the pets in my care, ensuring they receive consistent attention, exercise, companionship, and care throughout their stay. My goal is to provide exceptional service and peace of mind, giving pet parents confidence that their pets and home are being well cared for while they’re away. As a Frenchie mom, I understand how important it is to provide pets with patience, structure, attention, and plenty of love. When caring for a client’s pets, I make it a priority to follow their established routines, feeding instructions, exercise needs, house rules, and any specific care instructions provided. I understand that every pet and home is different, so I take the time to learn what makes each pet comfortable and happy. I prioritize safety, cleanliness, companionship, and consistency while treating every home with the same respect I would expect for my own. My goal is to provide dependable, personalized care and give pet parents complete peace of mind while they’re away.

We are so grateful to have found Lilly! She went above and beyond taking care of our sweet girl, Penny, and our home. Our dog is slow to warm-up to new people, and Lilly was patient and let Penny come to her. She sent regular updates and communicated well. We will definitely use Lilly again in the future when we need help! She even washed and cleaned the sheets and left a sweet note. Anyone looking for a pet and home sitter would be lucky to have her.

Caitlin was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we left, she kept us completely at ease with constant communication, frequent updates, and lots of photos of Levi. We never had to wonder how he was doing—she made sure we felt connected to him throughout our entire trip. She cared for Levi as if he were her own, and when he hurt his paw, she handled it calmly and attentively, kept a close eye on him, and made sure he received the extra care he needed. She even received our motorcycle delivery while we were away, which was completely outside the scope of her responsibilities and truly above and beyond! We returned home to a happy, well-cared-for Levi and an absolutely spotless house. Caitlin is incredibly reliable, thoughtful, communicative, and genuinely caring. Knowing she was there let Dustin and me relax and enjoy our time away. We could not have asked for anyone better, and we will absolutely ask her to care for Levi again!

Nadia was absolutely incredible! From the moment we left, she kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She took amazing care of our golden retriever, Syla, treating her like she was her own and making sure she was happy, comfortable, and loved the entire weekend. When we got home, our house was spotless, and Syla was relaxed, happy, and snuggled up on the couch. It’s clear that Nadia genuinely cares about both the pets she watches and the homes she stays in. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would trust her again in a heartbeat. We highly recommend Nadia to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and thoughtful pet sitter!

About: I'm an animal lover! I always had animals growing up; having cats & dogs. Also had a guinea pig, a chinchilla, several birds, a turtle, bunnies and bearded dragons. Our furbabies are like our children! I am a professional petsitter, fostering dogs & cats, training them and rescuing animals. Currently, I have 4 cats (mine) & 2 bearded dragons and 1 small dog (mom's).   I have experiences with seniors and blind furbabies. I also have experiences dealing with flight risk, severe anxiety pets and oral medication as well as injections. **DROP-IN VISIT** I live in Taylor, I can travel to Hutto, Granger, southeast of GT, East of Round Rock, Thorndale and Coupland.  **BOARDING - Requirements: * Non-aggressive/low/medium energy (must be ok with other pets) * 100% house-trained includes trained to not chew on household items * Current on all vaccinations and flea prevention * Male felines must be neutered  I ask you to provide food and bedding for your furbabies because every pet is different, has different lifestyles and eating/sleeping habits, toys.  I have plenty of bowls and plenty of crates (XS, S, M, L, XL & XXL) including a 3 tier crate (for cats) if needed. My schedule is flexible, I'm almost always home. If weather permits, I enjoy going out for long hikes or going to parks/neighborhood for walks. ** Boarding & Housesitting - I'm available 7 days a week. The potty break/meal schedule is flexible on my end. They can go out often for potty breaks, to explore, fetch, and enjoy the sun as they please. Also, will provide outdoor play with engagement of other pups and can do some training as well. ** Housesitting - I will spend the nights with them. Sometimes I will be away for a few hours unless you instruct me for a specific time, such as how long it is ok to leave your pets alone, I will follow your preference. They are welcome to tag along for the ride if they enjoy car rides. -- During my free time I volunteer as a pet rescue member with Trapping, Rescue and Pet Recovery Service (TRAPRS), a non-profit organization. I have been with TRAPRS since they were founded in 2019. When I'm scheduled to pet sit, I will not be available to do a rescue. Only time I'll be away is if someone is able to secure an animal, Ill be out for a quick scan for microchip or if I'm scheduled to drop-in to visit other clients' homes. (I want to be transparent about what I do). I know it can be stressful leaving your family member with a stranger, but you can be confident that your furbaby/ies will be treated as one of the family; given plenty of love, hugs, belly scratches, treats, play time and walks during their stay. I have a fenced yard for your pup(s) to explore, do their business, enjoy the fresh air & flirt with the sun, and play fetch. I will send photos and videos of your furbaby having a great time! You are welcome to reach out to check on them at any time. They will be in good paws!

About: I have grown up having dogs my entire life. I have two family dogs named Comet who is 15 years old and Lucy who is 8 years old. I love my dogs and have taken great care of them. I also regularly walked a dog named Lucy (different from my family’s dog Lucy) twice a week for a year while in college along with many other walks, drop-in visits, or sitting opportunities over the past six years. I enjoy walking, sitting, and doing drop-in visits for dogs. They bring me great joy, have such fun personalities, and get me outside for some exercise and fresh air. I am a social worker who is currently working on transferring licenses from states. With that said, I am currently very flexible with my schedule. I will always prioritize your pet’s needs. I usually like to see what the dog is doing in their own space or in a new space like my house so I can learn their preferences. I am always in the same room as the dog and never leave them on their own. My house is very clean and organized. There is plenty of living room and bedrooms space for them to roam around.

FAQs for House Sitting - Circleville

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of September 2026, there are 2,530 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Circleville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Circleville walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Circleville maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Circleville choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Circleville. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
