“Katie was great with our 10 year old Havanese Bailey. She was always on time and sent pictures and videos of him for every visit, which gave us peace of mind that he was well taken care of. She communicated in a timely manner and got back to us with any questions. This was our first time using Rover and we will definitely use Katie again in the future.”

“Rebecca is a treasure! She took amazing care of our two kitties (one being a senior cat that is 16 years old and requires a special diet and thyroid medication twice daily). She gave wonderfully detailed notes and pictures with every visit. We couldn’t be happier with her service. We will definitely use her again and would recommend her to anyone who needs an exceptional pet sitter. She is kind, intuitive, and responsible. Thank you so much Rebecca!!”

“We’re so happy to have found Sarah and so appreciative for how well she’s taken care of our pups. She lets us know when she is over, checks in with us throughout her stay, and never minds spending extra time with them to ensure they have enough play and run time. We will continue to have Sarah watch our pups!”

“So happy to have found Brenda on Rover! She is super reliable and manages to interact with all four of my dogs and sends me a little blip of their time together and fun pics! I couldn’t have picked a better person to be with my fur babies. Thank you!”

“I recently had the pleasure of hiring Diane to check in on our dog, Riley, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we met, Diane demonstrated a genuine love for animals and a high level of professionalism. She was in tune with Riley’s needs and followed all the instructions we provided for feeding, watering and caring for Riley. Diane sent photos and an update from her check in visit which gave us peace of mind, knowing Riley was in good hands. I highly recommend Diane Hanna to anyone in need of a reliable, caring, and professional dog sitter. Thank you Diane for taking such good care of Riley!”

“Dana did a fantastic job taking care of my cats while I was away. I will definitely be using her again. She is extremely reliable and attentive and exactly what I was looking for in a cat sitter.”

“It was my first time using rover and I was very happy with it. Kathryn was great with my dog with the drop ins and it helped me with my anxiety about leaving my dog. I would definitely use her in the future.”
“This was the first time I have used Peggy and she was the best! My babies loved her and I could tell she loved them too. She is definitely going to be my "go-to" for now on!”
“Kristi took very good care of our cat when we were away. We will definitely keep her in mind for next time and appreciate all the beautiful photos of her while we were away. Mind was at ease knowing she was getting good care.”

“As usual, Bill took such good care of our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. They are very low key but they demand a lot of love and Bill gives them plenty of that. He takes care of my dogs and I can go away on vacation with peace of mind and not worry about the dogs.. that means a lot to me.”

“Lisa kept us updated everyday and sent plenty of photos! I’m glad to have felt comfortable leaving my fur babies with Lisa and knowing that our shy cat enjoyed her company definitely set the bar high for us that she was going to be a great sitter.”

“Elizabeth was just terrific with our young shy cat Alice! By the end of the week, our kitty was sitting in her lap and cuddling. She promptly responded to any concerns I had and was there every day at the time she said she would be. Highly recommend!”

“This is our second time having Heather as our cat sitter. I am so glad we found her! Our cat gave her kisses and that melted my heart. Thanks again for taking such good care of our little sweetie.”

“Brianna is the best! I feel very comfortable leaving my dogs with her. And they are excited to see her. What better way does a dog acknowledge their love for someone. And the photos and reports definitely make me feel more at ease. Until the next time!”

“I was hesitant at first using Rover because I didn’t know how my dog would react without me being there. I have a mixed American pitbull terrier. Amber is very good with my dog and he always looks so happy in all the pictures she sends me during the visit. Also, she’s very responsive to messages. Highly recommend. She’s been very reliable when I needed a drop in visit.”

About: I am a big animal lover, I have watched dogs before, and had a great time! I will happily walk, feed, play with, and cuddle with any dog! I’m currently a college student with lots of free time, so I will happily fill my day with taking care of and playing with dogs or cats! Currently I am a college student, so there wouldn’t be any dog or cat hangout at my place, however I would be happy to travel to and visit your pets.
“Kerri and Harry were great cat sitters. It was my first time using Rover and I needed to find a pet sitter last minute. I selected Kerri and Harry based off of their reviews and ratings and I was not disappointed. I had four cats that needed medicine and they did a great job handling this feat. They provided pictures, updates and asked any questions that they needed clarification on. I highly recommend!”

“Hailey did such a great job with my two cats! She’s so sweet and attentive. She even washed the cat’s bowls for me! (I feed them canned food and told her I could just wash them when I got back from my weekend trip). She left my place better than what it was when I left. I will definitely re-book with her in the future and would recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Churchville
Sara is the best!! We have a very energetic labradoodle, and Sara knew how to handle him from the start! She is clearly very experienced and was handling all of his energy and calming him down on her first visit. She sent us photos of our dog at each visit along with regular updates. Sara is just outstanding and our dog wholeheartedly agrees!

Melanie was fantastic! She arrived right on time, took great care of our dogs, and gave us peace of mind while we were away. We have a large puppy who's still a bit skittish around new people, but Melanie was patient, calm, and took the time to earn his trust. She handled both dogs wonderfully, and we wouldn't hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend!

Nikki, was great ! My one cat is very shy when anyone comes in the house she hides. Nikki was able to get her to come out a little bit. My other cat is a senior and very friendly and loves affection. Nikki was very friendly and helpful with the girls. I would have her take care of them again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
