About: I grew up with two dogs (a German Shepherd and a Bichon Frise). They were the sweetest boys to ever exist!! I do not currently have any pets because I don’t think I could handle the loss. But, I have been pet sitting other people’s pets for over 5 years outside of rover. I have pet sit both cats and dogs :) I’m currently working full time remotely. So I have lots of time to spend with your pets! I do travel for work so there may be some weeks that I will not be available but that will all be noted on my calendar. I have a fenced in yard. Pets in our house are allowed inside and on furniture. If you request it I will crate your dog. About: Hi! I’ve been pet sitting with Rover since June 2024. I have a huge passion for animals, spending time with and caring for them. I have three cats and a dog right now! She let us know if he was eating & how he was doing in the unfamiliar environment. She asked if it was ok if she could give him homemade chicken which he loved! Whatever unease Poppy may have felt initially quickly dissipated with her loving care of him!! She was also very sensitive to his possible reaction to fireworks over July 4 anticipating he may not react well. She made sure she provided a quiet and safe space for him. About: We treat pets like part of the family, not just a quick drop-in. One thing that really sets us apart is the environment we can offer — we have a fully fenced 1-acre backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and get plenty of exercise and attention. My boyfriend and I are both huge animal lovers, and while we both work, I have flexibility with telework and half days, which allows for more supervision and time with your pet throughout the day. We’re also home on weekends, so pets will not be left alone for long periods. We currently do not have any pets of our own, which can be especially helpful for dogs who prefer a calmer environment or are not comfortable around other animals. We’re patient, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s personality and routine. Pet care fits easily into our routine because we genuinely love having animals around. I have flexibility with telework and half days, which allows for regular potty breaks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. I have hands on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels, including daily walks, feeding, playtime, administering basic medications, and providing plenty of love and attention. I have owned a Golden Retriever, yorkie, two Great Danes, and a pitbull. I am comfortable with everything from energetic exercise sessions to gentle care for smaller breeds. I pride myself on being reliable, responsible, and attentive to each pet's unique needs. Whether your dog needs a long walk, a quick potty break, or companionship while you're away, I will treat them with the same care and affection I give my own pets. My goal is to ensure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved while giving owners peace of mind. I do work Monday through Friday from 9-1 which is about 15 minutes away from my house, but my hours are very flexible to where I can be home during the day. I have a fenced in yard, I have a pool if your dog is a water lover, lots of treats, I used to have many dogs but as of now I only have a yorkie in the house along with my two younger siblings who grew up with dogs and love dogs and my two parents.
