About: I’ve loved caring for pets for years and have hands-on experience with both dogs and cats. I was the primary caregiver for a family friend’s dog for over a year during COVID and have also looked after my uncle’s dog during multi-week stays. I make sure every dog gets plenty of walks, park time, exercise, and socialization, along with feeding, pee pad changes, and a clean, happy home. I’ve also cared for about five cats over the years and currently have a cat of my own. I know how to keep cats happy, healthy, and comfortable with feeding, litter box care, and plenty of gentle attention. I love spending time with animals, making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I am currently attending hartnell college as a full time student and athlete. As every semester changes due to classes, my practice schedule is always consistent. I am unavailable from 12-3 everyday, other than that I am completely available depending on my class schedule! I am available on Saturday all day, Sunday I am available after 10am. When I care for pets in a clients home, I like to treat their space and the pets as if it’s my own. I follow each pets routine closely, I make sure feeding is on time, fresh water is provided, and giving a lot of affection. For dogs I make sure to take daily walks, visit parks or local areas for exercise and socialization if that’s what the dog feels comfortable with, and to make sure they get a good amount of stimulation and play time. For cats I maintain litter boxes, cozy and warm resting spots, and prioritize spending quality time playing or even just keeping them company so they’re not alone. I also keep the home clean and organized, tidy up any messes, and make sure the environment stays safe and comfortable for the pets. My goal is always to help pets feel happy, relaxed, and loved while their owners are away.
“Greta was GREAT! Throughout the whole process she has been prompt with communication and oh so pleasant. She clearly developed a caring and affectionate relationship with our dog and she was well cared for during our vacation. She also kept us appraised of their activities with plenty of photos, which clearly showed that Tilly was well cared for and having fun. She also took good care of our home and we returned to a clean and orderly house! Always a plus after vacation. I would recommend Greta without reservation.”

About: Starting in high school I worked for an adoption center and have worked with animals ever since. From dogsitting, cat sitting, volunteering at the animal shelter, and more, I’ve always enjoyed being involved with animals. My main job is an online fitness coach and so I can work remotely due to that. For that reason I’m able to work with just about any schedule your animal may have. I’ve worked with elder dogs as well as puppies to help them maintain their usual routine. I’m also practiced in giving eye drops, medication, and insulin shots through my other pet sitting jobs I’ve done in the past. For me the most important thing is not breaking routine. I’m a creature of habit myself so I appreciate descriptive texts or notes that way I can help keep your animal in the same pattern as they would be if you were home.
“Sara did a great job watching our dog, cat, fish and house while we were gone for 11 days. They sent regular photos/updates, were very communicative, and the house was clean and cared for when we got home. Our spicy cat even warmed up to them eventually! It was a great comfort to know that our pup was getting his walks and was able to stick to his regular routine while we were away. We will defiantly use Sara again.”

About: I am the person for you if you’re looking for someone responsible and caring to walk your four legged friend. Let me know if you might need someone to check in on your pet or pets to make sure all is well or maybe need a home away from home while you’re taking a short trip. If your pet would do better in their own home, just let me know. My own dog family has included an Australian Shepard (named Angel), two terriers (Boots and Bear) a Cardigan Welsh Corgi (Fairy Glenn Natalie aka “Natty Girl”), and a golden retrievers (Woody) and a Pomeranian (Bubba)! Our newest additions are Pembroke Welsh Corgi (Abby) and Auggie (Corgi/Australian Shepard, Huckleberry)! From puppy to senior, it didn’t take long for them to be part of our family. I have always been a dog lover and will treat your pet like my own and consider your pets individual needs! In response to COVID-19, I am continuing to exercise caution during this time by sanitizing leashes, keeping hands and home clean and sanitized before and after visits. If you'd prefer, please let me know & I can use my own leash as an extended precaution. Instead of in person meet & greets prior to service, I am also available for remote meeting such as facetime and zoom platforms. Our pets need us, let's do what we can to keep ourselves safe from this virus! I believe that dog walks are an important part of a doggie's day and I'm willing to help out with that when life gets in the way! With enough notice I can drive throughout Monterey County and sometimes a bit beyond. I will keep your fur baby company and keep them entertained with chew toys, walks, and any suggestions that you might have for your pet's personality. Sometimes, they seem to prefer naps until they see you again :)
“Chris did a fantastic job sitting our dog. He’s a very caring and patient person. He was also very flexible when it came to adjusting his schedule. Our dog Daisy really liked him too :) Looking forward to booking him again.”

“Anissa was wonderful and super responsive whenever I messaged her. Asks plenty of questions to make sure she’s handling our dog with the outmost care and we truly appreciate that. Thank you very much🙏🏼”

About: I've been watching after my neighbors' pets since I was a kid. I love to spend time with them and talk to them all the time. Every job I have is in a pet-friendly environment, so I have the chance to care for a lot of dogs with different temperaments. I work remotely and have flexible schedule towards caring your best friends. I am free on weekdays afternoons and weekends and goes hiking in my free time. Your pups will be a part of our family during their stay. They are allowed to free roam the house, and have their own comfortable space to relax and sleep. I follow a consistent routine that includes regular feeding times, fresh water, and daily exercise. I take the pups for long walks twice a day, play fetch or tug everyday, and I can also provide daily mental stimulation like simple training, stuffed Kongs or snuffle mats. I mix my everyday lifestyle with working with animals whenever I can I am very patient, loving, and overall a sucker for fur baby! “I loved Andrea taking care of my cat Billy and the odd menagerie of feral cats that live at my home. She did an outstanding job. She follow the instructions carefully and was able to follow them and feed all the cats and take good care of Billy and the others. She stayed and played with Billy, which he loved. She maintained the litter robot, which is sometimes a challenge. She kept everything clean and took care of them the day I came home so I didn’t have to worry about them. I highly recommend Andrea, she is very conscientious and pays attention to detail and send pics and is really aware of how special our babies are to us and she is very good with cats. I will use her again when I attend my brother’s wedding soon.”

“Valery was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of Hendrick. During her stay she sent us lots of pictures and videos. She left the house clean! I highly recommend her to house sit.”
