“What a fresh of breath air to find someone as great as Nicole! This was our 1st short trip away from Kobe since we got him at 8 weeks old. It seemed like he got his own little vacation as well since he was well taken care of. Nicole is great on the updates, her home was clean and well kept. My Puppy Kobe did behave from what Nicole said and did well with others at her home. I’m glad we found Nicole! Thank you bunches Nicole. You truly have a wonderful heart for furry babies ??”

About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs for the past 7 years from puppy stage to them being almost 7 and 8. One of my dogs is adopted, so I can provide a safe haven for dogs that don’t trust easily. I can do afternoon walks, or overnight care if needed. I have a home with a yard and enough space for them to play inside or outside. I have two dogs that I’ve had for almost 3 years and I care for them like they are my kids. So of course I’m a dog lover. I’m super attentive to everything especially a change in dogs behavior and I’m really big on communication because I know how stressful it can be when you’re traveling away from your pet. There is also a vet down the street from me that I take my dogs to in case anything ever happens. My dogs are both calm (I have a mutt and a corgi) and they love meeting new dogs. However, I can only do boarding at my place because of this reason.
About: I’ve been around dogs all my life. Friends have trusted me to walk, feed and play with them for many years. I recently lost two of my dogs, so my house feels empty and can sure use some tail wagging energy. I’m currently going to school full time, with many of my classes being online, I have plenty of time between classes to give your fur baby love. I have a fenced yard, with plenty of room to run around and play. I love to go on walks twice daily which can last about 30-55 minutes, your fur baby will love them too!
“10/10 would recommend! Gabriel is a fantastic sitter and clearly knows how to handle dogs well. He went out of his way to make sure that my dog was comfortable and well cared for while I was away. She came home very happy.”
“We were very nervous leaving Afi for the first time with someone outside of family overnight because he is truly our baby, but Mahrukh & Jax made the entire experience so comfortable for us. We were updated with pictures, without asking and she was always easy to contact and responded promptly. We could tell Afi was well cared for and loved. We really appreciate her and will definitely be using her again. Highly recommend!”

“Citladi took exceptional care of Claire, making her right at home! She touched base and sent me a few photos but did not feel the need to be in constant contact with me which I appreciated. I felt great that Claire was having a fun, safe and comfortable stay!”

“I highly recommend Mike when in search of needing someone to watch your fur baby. My wife & I knew right away that our Cody was in great hands for his stay. We will definitely request his services again when traveling back near the Monterey area.”

“Maria and Gregory were amazing! They took great care of our Labradoodle Daisy over a long weekend and treated her like Family. Maria and Greg provided updates every day to keep us up to date, and Daisy really seemed to like them evident by her good mood when we picked her up. Thank you Maria and Gregory!”

About: I treat your pet like my own! Conveniently located in the quaint town of San Juan Bautista, we have a sun filled back yard that is fenced and safe for your pet to run, play, and relax in. Our house is located within walking distance of multiple parks for exercising your pets. Pet care is my full time job. I modify my schedule to accommodate your pet care needs. I enjoy being outside and exercising in nature with your pet. I never leave your pet unattended, and your pet's safety is my top priority. I am careful to follow your special instruction on how to care for your pet, whether it is feeding, medication, or simply having fun.
“Grace and Claudio were great! They are very responsive, responsible, and my dog had a great time. They sent lots of happy dog photos during the stay and made all logistics very easy. We hope to use them again if we are in the area.”

“Jill was so amazing with our dog, Meike! We were so nervous to leave her for the first time, but she was in great hands. Jill was amazing at giving her love and making her feel comfortable. She also made sure to play with her daily. We loved the daily updates and pictures. We would recommend Jill and will definitely be contacting her if we need a pet sitter in the future. She’s amazing!”

“Jayla was amazing with my puppy Hastings! I’m so glad we were able to get her as a last minute booking. She was very communicative by sending me pictures and updates of my puppy throughout the day. I loved how she took Hastings out on little adventures. I would definitely book her again!”

“Samantha was very active with Zoe and kept me informed throughout her entire stay. Her flexibility made my trip stress free and it was nice knowing Zoe was doing good the whole time. I am so grateful to have found her and will use her again in the future.”

“An amazing dog sitter! Left my 13yo dog, Pumpkin, with Asta for a week and she had a great time. I received so many pictures while I was on vacation so I knew Pumpkin was doing well and enjoying her time with Asta and her dog. I can't recommend her enough 😄”

“Thanks Robby for stepping into to take care of Benzi for around 2 weeks. I must say that Benzi was in good hands and he enjoyed his stay with Robby and other dogs. Robby kept us updated about Benzi’s stay and how he eased himself into his first pet-boarding experience. All in all, it was very professional experience for us and very enjoyable for Benzi. We will definetly like to get back with Robby for another pet boarding opportunity as and when it arises.”

“Bridget was absolutely wonderful with my anxious little dog, Augie!! I had never left him overnight before and both Augie and myself were nervous, but Bridget assured me that she was kind, patient, and a true dog lover! I could tell by all of the great photos that she sent that Augie was not only fine, more than comfortable and having fun! He walked and socialized with Bridget’s dog Finley and was even calm and curious when meeting her cats! I can’t more highly recommend Bridget, and I will absolutely have Augie stay with her again!”

About: I have owned animals of many kinds! From as small as a guinea pig to as big as a horse. Dogs have always been a main source of love and I have almost always had one as a part of my family for as long as I remember. I am patient and kind, and would appreciate the chance to help a family when possible! Pet care will be fitting into my daily life in between family matters. My children are in school from 815AM-5PM as long as nothing comes up or appointments have been made. Caring for pets is more natural than anything. As of now, my family and I care for a guinea pig and fish. We make sure the animals are fed and environments are clean. We are hands on with the guinea pig every day to make sure she has the interaction she needs to stay as healthy as she can.
About: Hello! Throughout my life, I’ve always had a dog in the family that I’ve helped care for. I love all animals but pups have a special place in my heart. Since high school, I’ve been looking after families’ furry loved ones. I love taking long walks with pups, playing catch, taking them to dog parks, and just having a fun time with them! I’m always willing to help continue any type of training you already have set up with your pet; consistency is key with animals. I have two cats and a pup of my own named Walter; he’s a sweet and calm shar pei/black lab mix. I can’t wait to meet, play, walk, and have fun with your fur babies! Thank you for checking out my profile!

“Jenna was pleasant and professional when caring for my cat Bella. She sent photos and updates, and I really appreciated that spent the whole 30 minutes trying to find Bella who wouldn't come out of hiding. Jenna made sure that Bella had water on the front porch and left her some treats, confirmed that Bella wasn't out on the street. She even walked around the neighborhood looking for Bella, and saw the cat that Bella doesn't like hanging out on my back fence. This explains why Bella wasn't interested in socializing. Thanks, Jenna, I appreciate your care.”

“Oscar was amazing with our two cats. They are indoor and outdoor cats so they require a bit more care. He followed all our instructions. On top of that, he made last minute adjustments to our itinerary after I made scheduling issues. We will definitely be booking him again for all our future travels.”

About: Previous Vet Tech for 4 years & dog sitter for 7 years. I now enjoy caring for pets on the side whenever available! I’ve house sat, baby sat, taken dogs to appointments, been the nurse behind the scenes at appointments, walk em & feed em! I’m currently working part time so when there is extra time in between I like to spend it caring for pets when their owners can’t. I am typically available at random convenient times. I don’t plan on caring for pets in my own home but I have previous experience caring for others in their home from pets to elders to babies.

“Sophia did an excellent job replenishing the wet food in my cats' refrigerated feeders. She also topped off the water fountains. Highly recommend her to handle pet care even when you use high tech equipment like me!”

About: I’ve babysat my sister’s four cats for the past 5 years every time she leaves out of town and needs a babysitter. I’ve also babysat for friends one of which has a special cat with a medical condition where I’ve had to administer medicine needed to be taken at specific times.
About: Starting in high school I worked for an adoption center and have worked with animals ever since. From dogsitting, cat sitting, volunteering at the animal shelter, and more, I’ve always enjoyed being involved with animals. My main job is an online fitness coach and so I can work remotely due to that. For that reason I’m able to work with just about any schedule your animal may have. I’ve worked with elder dogs as well as puppies to help them maintain their usual routine. I’m also practiced in giving eye drops, medication, and insulin shots through my other pet sitting jobs I’ve done in the past. For me the most important thing is not breaking routine. I’m a creature of habit myself so I appreciate descriptive texts or notes that way I can help keep your animal in the same pattern as they would be if you were home.
“Amanda took great care of our two cats for a week of house sitting! She came for a meet-and-greet to learn everything about our cats and gave thorough updates through the week. She spent a lot of extra time with them, gave them medication, and took special care with our elderly cat’s special feeding routine. Highly recommended!”

“Michael B. did an excellent job pet-sitting for Jewel and keeping us informed about how the visits were going. He was very conscientious and helped Jewel feel comfortable with him there. We highly recommend Michael for your pet-sitting needs!!”

I have my office 3 mins away from home so have the flexibility. Commutation is the most important thing for me, making sure you have updates about your pet and making sure they feel safe and protected weather it’s on a walk or home sitting.

“Took my dog for daycare. Gabriel kept me updated all through out the day and sent me lots of pictures. Gave us some good training tips not to mention he includes a free 45 min. training session. He gave us a box of treats and some mini tennis balls for my dog to take home very generous of him. We will definitely use him in the near future.”

“Mike & Lynne are Salinas’ best kept secret! They are every dog owner’s dream dog watchers! They are always home, they love going on walks and are super sweet! They have a way of making us and our dog Zuzu feel like family. My husband and I enjoyed talking with them and Zuzu had a great time climbing over Mike, who laid on the grass to play with her. They were very communicative with us before and during Zuzu’s stay. I would def recommend them and we will be taking Zuzu back!”

About: Hello, my name is Karina. I truly adore animals and would love to care for your pets. I treat every pet the same way I would want my own pet to be treated with love, patience, and attention. I know how important it is to feel at ease while you’re away, so I always send regular updates to keep you informed on how your pet is doing. Your pet will never feel alone. My mom and sister are also animal lovers, and together we make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. Cats stay indoors in our rooms in a calm, cozy space. Dogs are kept both inside and outside during the day, and we also provide walks. At night, dogs are kept indoors so I always know they are safe. I carefully follow all feeding instructions and any specific routines you provide. I also keep a clean, safe environment, including a well-maintained yard. I currently have one cat, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel completely comfortable. If you have any questions or would like to meet, please reach out. I would love to get to know you and your pet. I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to take your pets on walks and play with. When I’m not home my family is with them and also treats them with the same love. (No children in the home) I provide safety to your pets by keeping their litter box hygienic, providing a fenced yard, and monitoring them throughout the entire day. I treat your pets like how I’d like my pet to be treated.
About: I’ve had a dog since I was 10 he was older so I had to learn to be patient with him.Now with a newer puppy I had to find ways to train and help him not be so shy around other dogs As a college student I have my weekends open and I stay at school for holidays! During the week I have a lot of time in between class in order to take care of your loving pet! I always make sure to keep an eye on the pets when outside the back yard or just in the house just to make sure they’re okay. During walks when walking pass other dogs I try to walk across the street from other dog or stray off to the side and wait for the dog to pass us.

“Jill was awesome and Jack really enjoyed his day with her. He came back cleaner than when we left him and a happy pup. Would definitely use Jill again when we are in the Monterey area!”

“Best possible sitter I could have ever dreamed of! I was in town for a concert and Jayla took the absolute best care of my dog. Absolutely recommend having her watch your pet. They'll be cared for and happy. ☺️”

“Grace and Claudio were so great with my pup! I asked them kind of last minute and they worked with my schedule and took great care of him. They were also super understanding that my dog needed to be separate from theirs and had no issues accommodating. Would def recommend!”

“Chris is a super star dog sitter. He dog sitter for Checkers last minute and did a great job watching him. He provided videos and photos too which put our mind at ease when leaving him. We will definitely be using his services again. Thank you so much Chris!!!”

About: I have loved caring for cats and dogs since I was a child. I pride myself on my ability to read animal body language and gain their trust at their own pace. I also have plenty of experience training animals. For example, my cat currently knows how to sit, lay, and spin! I have administered many different kinds of medications to both cats and dogs. My friends and family members also trust me to care for their senior dogs (a chihuahua, a goldendoodle, and a yorkie mix). I’m very attentive and make sure they have everything they need and give them lots of cuddles! I also have plenty of experience with puppies and kittens. I try to always match my energy level to the animal I’m caring for. I’m happy to play, hike, and run around with the more energetic babies and take it slow and cuddle/chill with the lazier or older ones I try my best to give personalized care to each animal, since they’re all unique and have their own little quirks. I also have experience with some skiddish, shy, and unsure animals. I work very hard to make them feel safe and show them the gentleness and care that they deserve. For boarding, there is a wonderful cat in my home. He is playful, but gentle and loves dogs very much. I can only board dogs that are okay with cats, but I’m very confident that I’d be able to do a slow introduction with a dog that has never met a cat before. I’m currently a medical student, but I only have to be on campus for a few hours each week. My partner who lives with me works full time, but she works from home Mondays and Fridays and is happy to help care for animals on those days. Our weekends are entirely free for animal care! Our apartment complex has a fenced-in grassy area that is large enough to accommodate larger dogs. If I’m coming to your home, I’ll make sure your pet’s water bowl is full and that they feel happy and loved.
About: I absolutely love animals of all kinds and will provide excellent care for your pet. I treat every animal as if they were my own and strive to give them the same level of attention, safety, and compassion I would expect for my own pet. I have experience caring for both senior dogs and puppies. I understand the importance of providing gentle, patient, and attentive care to older dogs. In addition, my fiancé and I adopted a 2.5 month old puppy in May 2022. Her name is Lola, and we successfully trained her through her puppy years. She is now two years old and is a cattle dog, husky, and border collie mix. I am also experienced with high-energy dogs that require plenty of exercise, stimulation, and attention. My fiancé and I have lived in Marina, CA for two years, and I am very familiar with local parks and great places for dog walking. I also have hands-on experience caring for cats, guinea pigs, and hamsters. Our dog Lola also has food allergies, which has given me experience managing special diets. I also have experience administering medications when needed to dogs, cats, and rodents of all ages. I also have experience cat sitting, and truly enjoy working with animals of all sizes, personalities, and temperaments. If you have any questions about my experience or qualifications, please feel free to reach out-I’d be happy to connect! -Kenzie B. I work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and am available most weekends. On weekdays, I have availability before work, during my lunch break (12:00–1:30 PM), and after work to check on and care for your pets. I am typically available at any time on weekends and can offer flexible scheduling to meet your needs. I will carefully follow all of your instructions to ensure your pet’s needs are fully met. I won’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, and I promise to care for and love your pet just as I would my own. Building a trusting relationship with both you and your pet is very important to me. I will also provide regular updates, including plenty of photos, so you can feel reassured and at ease knowing your pet is happy and in great hands. I understand that some animals have unique or special needs, and I am more than happy to accommodate and provide the personalized care they require.
About: I have the utmost respect for life in all forms. Years experience volunteering in wildlife rehabilitation and fostering animals. Grew up training dogs and target training chickens and fish. I have my own senior dog, so I am well versed in senior dog care. I have a gift for observation and notice the little things and differences in behavior and health. I’m currently working part time so when there is extra time in between I like to spend it caring for pets when their owners can’t. I am typically available at random convenient times. I don’t plan on caring for pets in my own home but I have previous experience caring for others in their home from pets to elders to babies.
About: Hi! My name is Sherlynn, and I’m a Salinas local with over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all types. I’ve grown up around pets and have cared for dogs, cats, birds, and even a bunny. I raised my pit bull mix from puppyhood into adulthood, and I currently care for a German Shepherd who I’ve had for over four years. I’m experienced with dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels — from calm companions to more active, strong breeds. I enjoy taking pets on safe, enriching walks at local parks and beaches, and I always tailor care to each pet’s needs and routine. Safety and communication are my top priorities. I’m confident handling unexpected situations calmly and responsibly, and I make sure pets feel comfortable, secure, and loved while in my care. I’m open to working with all breeds and always treat every pet as if they were my own. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and well-being will always come first. Feel free to reach out with any questions — I’d love to meet you and your pet! I am Medical Student at the moment with a part time job trying to pay for school doing Rover as my side hustle! I am willing to work with you on dates & times you need. I do live in house that has a fenced yard. I live less than 1 minute away from a dog park which is so convenient. My neighborhood is calm.
“Michael showed up on time and my dog Vida took to him right away. He was responsible and kind. On the second day, my dog wagged her tail and ran to him, so obviously she liked him. Thanks Michael!”

“We were lucky to use Jenna for several walks while in town on a work assignment! Jenna was spectacular!! SO attentive and provided wonderful care during her walks with my girl Lila! Really appreciated our time during our meet and greet too. Jenna went above and beyond to make me and my pup feel at ease. My only complaint is we didn’t find her sooner during our 6mo stent in Medford! Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful, professional, caring walker!”

About: Ive been an animal lover since I was little, Ive had all types of animals growing up and absolutely love caring for all pets. My roommates travel often and I take care of their senior dog Riley, he is deaf and blind so he needs a lot of extra TLC. I am local to south salinas, I have my own business and make my own schedule. I have my office 3 mins away from home so have the flexibility. Commutation is the most important thing for me, making sure you have updates about your pet and making sure they feel safe and protected weather it’s on a walk or home sitting.

“I will always, always, always choose Marion as a dog sitter. She continues to be amazing with Pippa, sends updates with pictures & has just the biggest heart for the dogs in her care. I could not recommend her enough!”

“Denise is the best! I was dreading leaving my dog and Denise reassured me before and during shortie’s stay. She sent me many updates. Shortie had a BLAST!!!!! I feel so much better now knowing that there is someone I can trust leaving shortie with. Thank you so much for taking care of Shortie!!!!!”

“We would 1000000% recommend JD! There's a reason he has so many 5 star reviews! We normally never travel because we get very anxious about trusting someone with our dogs. However, we had a trip we couldn't miss so we had to figure something out. We found JD on here and after reading all his reviews, we decided he would be the best choice and we were right! He watched our boys for a whole week and sent tons of photos every single day. We had a peace of mind the entire time and would absolutely rebook again without hesitation! Embarrassingly on my end, I booked the wrong date for the pick up day but JD handled it amazingly and watched our boys for an extra day. He was very kind about it and really made everything so stress free! If you're debating on who to hire, do yourself a favor and go with JD! :)”
“Can’t express enough how WONDERFUL our experience was with Karina! She went above and beyond for our little 12 week old golden retriever. Sent us updates and pictures. Bathed her! Spoiled her with a lot of play time and her personal favorite, car rides!”
“Carol was great with my dog, Henry! Even in her small space, he felt right at home. She took amazing care of him and even helped with his training. She sent photos & updates throughout his stay. Highly recommend!”
