Becky took great care of our girl. She sent pictures and regular updates to let us know how she was doing which made us feel really good. Caramel seemed really happy when we picked her up. We will definitely use Becky again when we need to go out out of town and can’t take our dog with us.

Christie was very sweet to my babies, was prompt and communicated well. I appreciated that she took the time to get to know my pups, home and concerns. I always worry that my pups are just wild and not following our normal and ongoing training with walkers and sitters. However, during our introductions Christie seemed comfortable correcting behaviors like jumping and chewing. The pups were sad when she left which is a great sign to me!

About: Starting in high school I worked for an adoption center and have worked with animals ever since. From dogsitting, cat sitting, volunteering at the animal shelter, and more, I’ve always enjoyed being involved with animals. My main job is an online fitness coach and so I can work remotely due to that. For that reason I’m able to work with just about any schedule your animal may have. I’ve worked with elder dogs as well as puppies to help them maintain their usual routine. I’m also practiced in giving eye drops, medication, and insulin shots through my other pet sitting jobs I’ve done in the past. For me the most important thing is not breaking routine. I’m a creature of habit myself so I appreciate descriptive texts or notes that way I can help keep your animal in the same pattern as they would be if you were home.

About: I have owned animals of many kinds! From as small as a guinea pig to as big as a horse. Dogs have always been a main source of love and I have almost always had one as a part of my family for as long as I remember. I am patient and kind, and would appreciate the chance to help a family when possible! Pet care will be fitting into my daily life in between family matters. My children are in school from 815AM-5PM as long as nothing comes up or appointments have been made. Caring for pets is more natural than anything. As of now, my family and I care for a guinea pig and fish. We make sure the animals are fed and environments are clean. We are hands on with the guinea pig every day to make sure she has the interaction she needs to stay as healthy as she can.

About: Hi! My name is Sherlynn, and I’m a Salinas local with over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all types. I’ve grown up around pets and have cared for dogs, cats, birds, and even a bunny. I raised my pit bull mix from puppyhood into adulthood, and I currently care for a German Shepherd who I’ve had for over four years. I’m experienced with dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels — from calm companions to more active, strong breeds. I enjoy taking pets on safe, enriching walks at local parks and beaches, and I always tailor care to each pet’s needs and routine. Safety and communication are my top priorities. I’m confident handling unexpected situations calmly and responsibly, and I make sure pets feel comfortable, secure, and loved while in my care. I’m open to working with all breeds and always treat every pet as if they were my own. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and well-being will always come first. Feel free to reach out with any questions — I’d love to meet you and your pet! I am a Autism Behavior Technician for Salinas District in Salinas, M-F. My schedule is pretty flexible as I also dont work weekends so if needed I can sit. I do live in house that has a fenced yard. I live less than 1 minute away from a dog park which is so convenient. My neighborhood is calm.

About: Previous Vet Tech for 4 years & dog sitter for 7 years. I now enjoy caring for pets on the side whenever available! I’ve house sat, baby sat, taken dogs to appointments, been the nurse behind the scenes at appointments, walk em & feed em! I’m currently working part time so when there is extra time in between I like to spend it caring for pets when their owners can’t. I am typically available at random convenient times. I don’t plan on caring for pets in my own home but I have previous experience caring for others in their home from pets to elders to babies.

About: I've had the pleasure of caring for many pets, both for family and friends. I absolutely adore playing with animals, and I'd be thrilled to take care of your pets as part of my job. I have a dog of my own and enjoy going on walks with him, so I'd love to take your dog on walks too. Cats are also wonderful, and I'd be more than happy to care for your feline friends. I can either keep them at my house, where there's plenty of space, or I can come to your house. I have my own transportation, so I can drive to your place to feed them, clean their litter box, and play with them for as long as necessary. I hope you'll choose me to take care of your pets—they'll be in loving and capable hands! I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to take your pets on walks and play with. When I’m not home my family is with them and also treats them with the same love. (No children in the home) I provide safety to your pets by keeping their litter box hygienic, providing a fenced yard, and monitoring them throughout the entire day. I treat your pets like how I’d like my pet to be treated.

About: Breeds I have taken care of: German shepherd Great Dane Golden Doodle Great Dane/Mastiff Hi! I’m Marissa — dog walker, house sitter, and part-time therapist for a German Shepherd named Kai, who has decided I’m his entire personality now. Kai started as a very reactive, chaotic dog at first, but now he’s out here heeling, minding his business around other dogs, and acting like he’s training me. He’s still protective but he’s not as reactive to other animals. So yes, I’m totally comfortable with big breeds, reactive dogs, anxious dogs, and dogs who are a little… dramatic. 🐾 Please note: Bookings that require extended travel or constant care may require a rate adjustment. I’m calm, patient, and I actually pay attention to your pet’s vibe. Whether your furry friend wants zoomies, snuggles, or a silent stare-down from across the room — I can match their energy. If you want someone reliable who will love your pet, hype them up, and send you funny updates, I got you. Also Kai wanted me to tell you he approves this message. I am a part time student so I’m mostly free on weekends. I spend most of my free time either studying, walking Kai, or going to the gym, so I can easily squeeze in some pet care/house sitting. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely — feeding schedule, walks, potty breaks, medications, and any house rules you have. I give lots of positive reinforcement, calm company, and plenty of play or enrichment depending on what your pet enjoys. I also keep your home tidy, double-check doors and gates, and keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: I have taken care of dogs of all ages starting when I was 13 years old. I have been employed by neighbors, family friends, and friends of mutual friends. My duties include feeding, playing, and walking. I provide undivided attention, security, and unconditional love to your furry family member. I prioritize the owner's guidelines and wishes regarding how I fit pet care into my daily and weekly routine. I will usually start the day with morning walks and feeding sessions, ensuring each pet gets the exercise and nutrition they need to start their day right. Throughout the day, I schedule playtime and plenty of cuddle breaks to keep them happy and engaged. In the evenings, I do another round of walks, feeding, and any necessary grooming. Balancing my schedule around pet care allows me to give each pet the attention and love they deserve, making sure their needs are met consistently. Whether it's a daily visit or an extended stay, your pet's well-being is always my top priority. When caring for pets in my home, I create a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment. I make sure there’s plenty of space for them to play, relax, and feel at home. I follow a structured routine that includes feeding, walks, playtime, and quiet time, so pets know what to expect and feel secure. In my clients' homes, I maintain the pet's usual routine to minimize any stress from being in a different environment. I make sure to follow the specific instructions provided by the owners regarding feeding, medication, exercise, and any special care needs. I also keep the home tidy and ensure that pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. In both settings, I prioritize the pets' health, happiness, and safety, providing lots of love and attention to keep them content and well-cared for.

About: I have always been a dog lover as well as a dog owner. I am outgoing, responsible, patient and affectionate. When I was younger I had 3 male dogs. Peluche was a maltepoo, Achilles was a weiner, and Chino was a Maltese. I fed them and took them on walks everyday after school. Unfortunately, Peluche died of a heart disease in 2009 and we cremated him. Then we moved and we had to give the other dogs away. From the ages of 12 to 14, I took care of the poodles that belonged to my neighbor Sunny that lived next door to my grandma in Hilmar, Ca. She knew me since I was a baby and I would always help her care for her poodles and help sell them. When I was 16 my mom got a dog and his name was Peke. He was a maltepoo as well and he was the love of my life. I loved bathing him, playing with him, training him, and sleeping with him. He was my buddy and he would wait for me at the window to see when I would get home from school. Unfortunately, we lived in an apartment and after 2 years neighbors complained and we had to let him go. I believe I would be a great dog sitter because I am very patient with children and dogs. I am responsible and I make sure I am caring for each dog properly for their needs and wants. I am able to exercise with the dogs and take them out frequently for potty breaks. I also now have 2 large breeds of my own and it has been a mostly fun and rewarding experience. They help me with my mental health and physical health. Pet care fits into my schedule since I go to community college and sometimes I am unemployed and need a way of making money to take care of myself and necessities. In my own home and in a clients home I will care for your pets as if they were my own and follow the guidelines that are given to me. I appreciate routines and guidelines.
