“This was our second time booking with G’la, and once again, she absolutely knocked it out of the park! She took care of our dog Finn and cat Tuna while we were in Mexico for our wedding, and knowing they were with someone they already loved made all the difference. Our boys adore her! It’s clear they feel safe, spoiled, and totally at home in her care. She kept us updated with sweet photos and thoughtful check-ins, and we came home to two very happy pets (and a clean house!). G’la is trustworthy, kind, and just really gets animals. We wouldn’t leave Finn and Tuna with anyone else. Five stars, every time!”

“He followed all of my instructions to a T and was a great house guest. I really appreciate how fast he communicated with me throughout the process. My dog normally barks at people and his calm presence was a nice fit to keep Kuta calm.”

“Qishu was fantastic! She was so communicative and easy to work with, she made the time to meet me/our puppy first so we all felt good about the set up, she sent great updates that showed he clearly had the best time hanging out with her!”

“I had Esteban house sit to look after my big, rambunctious dog Sable for 6 days. Not only did Esteban take amazing care of my dog, he left the house in incredible condition. All my dog’s needs were met, and he sent regular pupdates. I’m a very anxious person and it was my first time using Rover, but Esteban put me at ease and I am so glad I decided to go with him. I would 100% use Esteban again if I ever leave town. I believe it’s safer and easier on my dog than boarding her at a dog hotel. You da man, Esteban!”

“Elisa's calm demeanor is a game changer for our anxious little Moana and this time she went above and beyond dealing with Moana's digestive issues. So grateful to have a sitter we can rely on to care for our fur baby the same as we do.”

“Ariana is wonderful! She sends frequent updates and pictures and you can tell she really loves dogs. Our Boxer puppy Hank, loves her. She also kindly deals with my nuerosis about leaving him. Highly recommended!”

“Aman was great house sitting our dog. It was our first time using Rover and I created some confusion but he was very gracious and helpful. Sent plenty of photos and was very communicative as we had a few unexpected packages show up. Even offered to was some dishes we’d left behind! Oh and our dog loved him. Wouldn’t hesitate to use him again!”

About: I have had 16 lovely years caring for all sorts of animals including many dogs and cats! I will care for your fur baby like my very own two kitties whom i adore! I am new to the area and looking to make your live a little easier :) I manage a criminal defense firm but animals are my passion! I love to help humans and people alike. I can do Monday-Friday after 6:30 and I am readily available every weekend to help you out! I take my time to let your little one warm up to me and care for them as if they are my own. I diligently watch, care for, and protect all animals in my care :)

About: I have 10+ years of pet and house sitting experience. I am a lover of all pets, whether they are cuddly or more of the silent observer type. Lots of availability and range of coverage location, so I am here to support you with your needs in watching your fur baby! I am a graduate nursing student who has a lot of free time during the week and weekends, as I only have class certain days of the week. I find myself with not much to do on my free days and would love to use this time to support pet owners while they are away from home. I am very attune to the pet’s routine and try to stick to this as much as possible, as I know they are missing their routine with their owners so much already. I love to spend quality time with the pets that I am watching, whether this involves taking them on long walks, visits to the dog park, or providing many pets. For house sitting, I am a thoughtful guest who keeps spaces clean and respects the client’s home. In the past, I usually bring my own meal-prepped food so that cooking in the home is not necessary other than to heat items up.

“Cleopatra was quick and response in the setup and came out right away for a meet and greet. She was communicative while we were away with pictures and updates. She was able to deal with giving our cat an eye drop twice a day. She delt with any house issues quickly (garbage cans.) I would definiteley hire Cleopatra again.”

“Pups got superb care - could not have asked for a better sitter. Great and descriptive updates, and loving attention to detail. Has gained an incredible amount of trust from us!!”

“Marina is great! She house/dog sat my two small older dogs for three nights. She is/was dependable, trustworthy and respectful of my house with all its little quirks. If I had a question, she answered right away and sent pictures. The house was as clean as if I'd never left. I was able to enjoy my vacation with no worries about my little dogs. My dogs were very calm and happy when I returned. I doubt they missed me at all. I would definitely hire Marina again.”

“Gabrielle is wonderful!! She was excellent with my two big girls, took great care of my house and was very communicative! A pleasure to work with and I would be thrilled to have her sit my dogs again in the future. ?”

“Meshaal took great care of our 55 lb pup and our cat in our home while we were on vacation! They were thorough in preparing for the job, very communicative while we were away, and followed all of our feeding and exercise instructions. We would definitely have Meshaal sit for us again!”

“Celeste was fantastic! We have 4 cats with big personalities and she was so great at getting to know all of them over the course of the 8 days she house sat for us. She provided very detailed summaries of their days/nights, and navigated some of the trickier nuances of our situation like an absolute pro: medication administration, some inter-cat tension we've been dealing with, and making sure everyone got adequate individual attention. We also had a house issue come up while we were gone which she handled so well and was great at giving us updates. It was such a relief to have a proactive problem solver watching our boys and the house. We have another upcoming trip and will absolutely be rebooking with Celeste.”

Kirstyn T.
“Kirstyn has helped pet sit for me and my partner several times and has been a wonderful caregiver to our partially blind, senior cat, Liam, whenever we have had to be out of town for a few days. She is very attentive to the details of his care that are important to us including his feeding schedule/portions and litter box maintenance as well as play and enrichment. She makes sure to arrive according to schedule to ensure that Liam’s routine is maintained with consistency and without disruption. She also makes sure to spend lots of time playing and snuggling with Liam and giving him lots of love and attention. She is very communicative while pet sitting, sending photos and updates to provide us peace of mind while we are away. Kirstyn is a very reliable and loving pet caregiver and has always proven that we can trust her fully with Liam.”
Chinatown pet parents share their Rover experiences
We absolutely recommend Diana as a sitter and would have her again. From our initial meeting to the moment we returned home, we had good communication and quick/easy resolution of any questions. Our senior dog, Diesel, took to her immediately and was in good spirits when we returned home. The photo and video updates and detailed messages were a wonderful touch. We could see Diesel was not just being cared for, but truly loved and enjoyed. Our sitter maintained his routine, including adjusting to his slow pace and chill time in the yard. Coming home to a spotless house was the cherry on top. Plants were thriving, mail was neatly organized, and it was clear our home had been treated with the utmost respect and care. Anyone would be lucky to have such a trustworthy, professional, and genuinely caring person looking after their precious pets and home.

Mara took care of our cat and dog in our home for a week, even with a last minute addition of a regimen of eye drops for my dog who does NOT take them easily! I came home to calm and happy pets and a clean house, she kept in touch throughout the week with updates and questions, and I’m very happy! Would definitely hire her to watch my boys again!

Charlii really stepped it up this time. Our dog had an injury and became medically complex right before we left for a non-changeable vacation and she literally nursed him back to health better than we were able to! It completely changed the vacation knowing we basically had a doggie nurse at the house. She handled meds/PT all on her own. Incredible!

Ariana is a very trusted, reliable overnight sitter! She was very detail oriented and patient with our large breed teenage puppy. He quickly warmed up to her and adjusted to her reinforcement of our training. We are so grateful for all the steps and playtime she got in, keeping him tired and happy!

Aman is quick to reply and very communicative. It's clear our pit bull, Munchie, loves spending time with him, which puts our dog parent nerves at ease while we're away. He takes the extra time and effort to bring her out and about to other parts of town for a diversity of walks, which we appreciate because car rides are one of Munchie's favorite activities. With Aman, you'll come home to a happy and healthy dog.

Alix did an excellent job taking care of Cassie. She was prompt and friendly and very responsible. When our plane was delayed, she was very sympathetic and stayed longer than requested to make sure our dog, who has separation anxiety, was not left alone too long. We will definitely be using her again.

Hallie took great care of our dog! We have a very energetic dog who loves hikes and needs nourishment throughout the day. She did everything we asked and defiantly tired him out with long hikes each day! Communication was fast and easy and she left our house clean and in the same condition as when we left. We would definitely recommend and use again … oh and they even went and got a pup cup lol. ☺️

Casey did another awesome job at caring for our family pets ranging from 1 year old puppy to our super senior dog and cat. She was flexible and really tuned into their unique and special needs. She sincerely cares for them. She also gave us detailed and entertaining updates with cute photos & left our place as we left it. Thank you again for your wonderful care Casey!

Dawnly was so responsive and willing to jump in and help out when we needed last minute coverage. Our dogs are not the friendliest with newcomers, and they handled them our babies with love and grace. They took great care of our fur babies and were very communicative when they had questions to give our babies the best care. One of our dogs requires meds and Dawnly carefully followed the schedule for administering meds. We would love to work with them again.

Tia is an absolute gem of a human! My babies adored her. She was attentive, caring, and so sweet! I have an XXXL dog + a medium o up & a cat & she spent time with each of them, walked the pups twice a day, and made time to play with my kitten. 10/10 recommend- she’s fantastic!

Have you ever wanted to travel but the spot wouldn't allow your dog?! I was invited by friends to a place that I really wanted to go for a few days off work that sadly didn't allow dogs (other than service animals). While I feel like Aggie provides a lot of services to me :), she technically isn't a service animal, so I was on the fence on going. My friend actually recommended Charlene, and I'm reaaaaaaaly glad they did! In sum, Charlene was incredibly responsive, responsible, and thoughtful about the house sitting arrangement. I appreciated our phone call and in-person visit before my trip/the exchange - it was a nice chance to bring our profiles to life, talk through questions, look at the actual spaces. Charlene asked really thorough questions, which made me feel at ease and at peace to be able to make this trip happen. I loved getting a few photos during my time way - walking, hanging out at the house, sleeping, etc. - and getting short updates from Charlene once in a while. Charlene helped give me piece of mind which helped me to relax more during my trip. On day 2 of my trip, I had a deep inkling/feeling in my stomach about something that I needed to communicate with Charlene regarding Aggie and her care. I texted Charlene in the early morning, and Charlene responded back by the end of the morning to help address it - that gave me so much peace of mind, and I appreciated Charlene's responsiveness and flexibility! It was sweet to reconnect back with Aggie and Charlene at my return/pick up, and I'm grateful Charlene and I had a moment to talk more about their time together at that moment. Aggie seemed happy and content during our reunion :) My infatuation and obsession with dogs started at an early age for me, and I think there's something special about people who've had dogs in their lives. There's an ease, deep level of sympathy/empathy, trust, and both a firmness and softness that I witness in dog caregivers.. I witness all of these things and more in Charlene, and I believe any dog/animal would be lucky to be taken care of by Charlene. Highly recommended!

10/10. No notes. Dionna was amazing!! She was so detailed, organized, thoughtful, and caring when looking after our 2 cats and Bernese Mountain Dog. She sent photos and videos regularly so we always had peace of mind. One of our cats can be skittish and grumpy around strangers but he seemed comfortable and at ease right away with Dionna. Would absolutely recommend Dionna for your pet care needs!
