About: My name is Nick and I am a teacher in Chesterfield county looking to use my love for animals as a way to make some extra money over the summer. I have had dogs and cats growing up my whole life and currently have a dog named Bagel and a cat named Friday. I also have lots of experience dog/cat sitting for friends and family over the years ever since I was in high-school. I am a teacher so I won’t be working during the summers so I will have unlimited time during the day/night to take care of your pets and their needs! Once the school year starts I can do weekends and afternoon/nights! I have a lot of energy myself so if your pets love to get exercise/play around I am very up for that. I also try to be very thorough with the pet care instructions and will ask questions/for clarification to ensure I am giving your pet the best care as possible.

About: For the last 5 years, I've been volunteering care for a herd of goats on Gillie's Creek Park. I am also the primary farm sitter for several friends' homesteads and a frequent pet sitter for friends and acquaintances. I have a broad range of experience: handling elderly animal care, newborn feeding/monitoring, pet anxiety, unique medication/feeding schedules, and general care for most farm/domesticated animals. I have a deep love for animals and their welfare with a desire to assist you and your pet in any way possible. I'm currently working part-time with a very flexible schedule. Typically not away from home for more than 3 hours at a time during marked available hours. My schedule can be adjustable if coordinating in advance. If caring in your home, I ensure that all items are back where they were originally left and that all feeding bowls and areas accessed are cleaned and organized. My home has a fenced-in yard, plenty of plants, natural lighting, and no other pets to contend for attention or food.

About: Lifetime lover of furry animal friends - adopting my puggle and in turn, her puppy sister/bff the Norfolk Terrier were easily the two best decisions I ever made. I even take my cat on walks, so I’m very attentive to both physical activity and emotional enrichment. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so being patient, observant, and consistent with their routines comes very naturally to me. II believe pets communicate their needs through their behavior and body language, so I always pay close attention to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and understood. I respect each pet’s boundaries while also giving them plenty of attention, playtime, and care. In both my home and a client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable, maintaining their routine, and making sure they don’t feel lonely or stressed while their owner is away.
