“This was Vesper and Naraa’s first overnight stay away from us, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! It was obvious from the start that they were in caring, capable hands. She treated them like they were her own, sent thoughtful photo updates throughout their stay, and made sure they felt right at home, even letting them sleep in bed with her. She has a securely fenced yard and a friendly dog that ours got along with wonderfully. Before pickup, she even took them for a walk so they came home happy, tired, and ready for a nap. “WE WERE TURNED AWAY BY SOOOO MANY SITTERS... I checked the schedule of every sitter before making contact to ensure that they were available. I made contact with at least 10 sitters and got "I'm out of town" or no response at all. The issue was my dog was asked not to return to a commercial kennel "Muddy Paws." There was no violence or aggressive behavior, just anxiety shown by barking, howling, tipping food, and water. But all of this is in Ash's bio, and finally, someone was real enough to tell me. "After reading your dogs bio, I don't feel comfortable with him." So I gave up and started to cancel a much needed family vacation. Then I got a small sign and tried Lindsay. She was the only one who asked, "What happened at Muddy Paws?". From there, we exchanged texts, and she asked if we could have a meet and greet that day. We had a wonderful meet and greet, and she took Ash for our vacation. And from there, we were thoroughly impressed. We got pictures, videos, and text messages. My wife actually got a little jealous due to how comfortable Ash looked and smiled in every picture. Plus, he found a new best friend in her dog, Remi. Now, if you are curious to know how Ash did, I highly recommend you ask Lindsay. She even went as far as to write something the other sitters could read that would educate them on Ash's behavior. About: Hello! I am Val, and I would love to care for your dog! I’ve had dogs my whole lives and understand how important it is to know your fur baby is in great hands. I Will treat your dog like one of my own! I have two kids and our dog, Monchie, who is friendly with both children and other dogs. While my yard may not be fenced in, I live in a quiet neighborhood and will take your dog on regular walks to ensure they get plenty of exercise and attention. Please let me know if there’s anything special I should know to make your dog’s stay as comfortable as possible (e.g., crate training, walking routine, feeding preferences). I want to make sure both you and your dog have a great experience! Looking forward to hearing from you! I am available weekends and weekdays after 3pm. If your dog is crate trained then we are available to watch on all week days. I will make sure to take your dog out for a bathroom break every 2-4 hours or as needed. Long walks are not a problem. I can take your dog on walks in our quiet neighborhood. Our dog monchie is super friendly and playful and would keep your dog company. I also, have room to crate your dog as well if need be.

About: I grew up with a small dog and have been a pet sitter for friends and family for just under 5 years. My husband grew up with 4 French bulldogs, although we do not have any special skills to train dogs we enjoy spending time with them. Pet care fits into our schedules on most weekends and some holidays. Our jobs limit us from having our own pets so we enjoy watching others during our time off. I will often be pet sitting with my husband as we live together. We care for pets by doing what’s instructed of us from their owners to keep their routine as close as possible in our home as it would be at theirs.
