“My dog Moon loved his visit with Denise and her dog Andy. Decent size fenced in yard for play, which my dog loved. Updates and pictures were sent. Moon even ate his food while there which he rarely does even for his normal sitter. I should mention she is very accommodating. I was a last minute request and my hours for pickup and drop-off were odd. Would definitely use Denise again.”

About: i’ve been a dog owner and pet sitter for 30 years but now that I’m retired from Johns Hopkins Hospital I have some more time to do this officially my history of taking care of dogs was mostly friends and families aside from my own pets… I live in Chesapeake Beach and love taking dogs on walks to Brownies Beach and the Chesapeake Trail… I have a huge fenced in yard. Perfect for dogs to play. I currently am retired from Johns Hopkins Hospital and owned to Airbnb that keep me busy but not busy enough and that’s why I’ve chosen to add Rover my home is the perfect set up for pets being there is a doggie door and a huge fenced in yard. Dogs will get walked at least once every four hours and will always be in my care.

“This was my dog's first Rover experience and it was perfect! Dana's place is securely fenced to let the dog have lots of safe exercise. Our big dog spent five days with Dana and was happy and healthy when we picked him up. Dana was very accommodating on timing (over a holiday weekend) and pickup arrangements. I definitely recommend her!”

About: I have taken care of my own dogs for a long time taking them on walks, feeding them, checking their health, and including enrichment for them. I am cured working somewhere part time however if you let me know in advance I can change or edit my schedule depending on the week. I have a fenced yard in my home where I watch my dog carefully. When I take my dog on a walk I am very cautious of our surroundings including other dogs, people, cars, etc.

“I cannot recommend Maddie enough! She watched our dog, Jameson, for a little over a week during Thanksgiving and went above and beyond in every way. From the start, it was clear she genuinely loves and understands dogs. She kept me updated with frequent pictures, videos, and messages, which made it so much easier to be away from Jameson. One thing I especially appreciated was how she allowed Jameson to socialize with other dogs during his stay. He’s still relatively new to us, so we’re still learning each other, but it’s clear now he thrives on interaction, and she ensured he had safe and fun playtime with the other dogs. Here’s the most amazing part: After spending so much time with JameO and seeing how much joy he brought into her home, Maddie decided to get a puppy of her own for her family! “Mark did a great job in keeping our dogs while we were away on vacation during the Christmas holiday. He has a large open property in rural Maryland, which allows the dogs room to walk, play and just be outside. He is great to work with on scheduling the stay and great with scheduling drop off and pick up times. Our dogs seem to enjoy their time with Mark and his family and are always in good spirits when I pick them up. I highly recommend Mark for dog sitting pets.”
