About: Your doggie will fit right in. I am a stay at home mom/mini homesteader. There is one dog in our home. He is a 10 year old fuzz ball who loves other dogs! Your doggie will be surrounded by myself and 3 helpful little humans so your pup will never be lonely. I understand how important normal routine is for our four legged family members. I am happy to adhere to your schedule as much as possible. Your pup will enjoy sniffing around on our 1 acre lot. Currently, I also have chickens, ducks, a turkey, and bunnies! I have an invisible fence if your doggie gets too excited with their new friends. Your dog will enjoy their normal routine and have a cozy crate or couch to sleep on. Pictures and updates upon request.

About: My passion and intuition is enough to set my care apart! I have been trained previously at a luxury boarding facility on dog and cat behaviors/temperaments, body language, breeds, and how to respect and communicate with them. I believe it is so important to make a pet feel safe in their own space and that even one bad interaction is detrimental to the wellness. I am only employed part time at a coffee shop and the hours are limited. I do not mind early mornings or late nights. I have my own vehicle for transportation and pet accessibility if necessary. I reflect exactly the habits for my pets wellbeing and as requested. It is of upmost importance to me to keep them cared for as a family member clean space to sleep eat and use the potty. Our dogs are kennel trained at night but able to sleep out if needed. I am comfortable with any variety of care even if it is a long list I love to be informed of routines.

About: i’ve been a dog owner and pet sitter for 30 years but now that I’m retired from Johns Hopkins Hospital I have some more time to do this officially my history of taking care of dogs was mostly friends and families aside from my own pets… I live in Chesapeake Beach and love taking dogs on walks to Brownies Beach and the Chesapeake Trail… I have a huge fenced in yard. Perfect for dogs to play. I currently am retired from Johns Hopkins Hospital and owned to Airbnb that keep me busy but not busy enough and that’s why I’ve chosen to add Rover my home is the perfect set up for pets being there is a doggie door and a huge fenced in yard. Dogs will get walked at least once every four hours and will always be in my care.

I am available for boarding Friday mid-day through Sunday evenings for weekend overnight stays. I am also available for weekday walks after work between 330pm-930pm. I start every stay by slowly introducing your dog to the space so they can sniff around and feel at home. Routine: I stick to your feeding and medication schedule. Safety: My home is dog-proofed, and I never leave pets unattended on balconies or in yards. I always supervise interactions with our golden doodle, Winston. While I do not have a fenced yard, we have a very walkable neighborhood and have a lead in the front yard (with supervision) if your pup prefers roaming time. Comfort: Your pup is welcome on the furniture for snuggles, but I’m happy to enforce "paws on the floor" if that’s what you prefer! They’ll have a dedicated quiet spot for naps and plenty of fresh water at all times. Communication: You'll get daily updates and photos so you can see how much fun we’re having! If Sitting in the YOUR Home How I care for your pet (and your home): I treat your home with the same respect I treat my own. My goal is for you to come back to a happy dog and a house that looks exactly how you left it. Personalized Care: I follow your dog's "neighborhood routine"—their favorite walking paths, the specific tree they like to sniff, and their usual 'bedtime' rituals. Home Security: I am extremely diligent about locking doors, arming alarms, and bringing in mail or packages so the house looks occupied and secure. Cleanliness: I believe in 'leave no trace.' I’ll keep the kitchen tidy, handle any pet messes immediately with pet-safe cleaners, and ensure water bowls are scrubbed daily. I follow the “Paw Wipe" Policy: I always wipe paws after rainy walks to keep your floors clean. Communication: You'll get daily updates and photos so you can see how much fun we’re having!
