About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with my dog Wilson, my best friend throughout childhood. He’s a high-energy, playful little guy with a big personality, and I spent years walking him, feeding him, playing with him, and trying my best to train him as a kid. As he got older, I also gained experience giving medications and helping him with mobility, which taught me patience and gentle, attentive care. In college, I adopted my cat Lucy, who is very shy and anxious, especially with new people. Caring for her has taught me how to earn an animal’s trust, move at their pace, and respect their boundaries. I’ve also become comfortable giving pills, liquid medications, topical treatments, and caring for her through surgery recovery. Having both Wilson and Lucy has given me experience with very different personalities and needs, from an energetic, attention-loving dog to a nervous, cautious cat. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet and adjusting my care to what makes them feel safe and happy. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel loved, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away, and to give you peace of mind Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and is something I can easily prioritize. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to be consistent with walks, drop-ins, and check-ins throughout the day as needed. I’m used to being attentive to animals’ routines through caring for my own pets, so I’m comfortable working around feeding times, medication schedules, and exercise needs. I’m reliable with timing and make sure pets are not left waiting longer than they should be. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat both the home and the pet with respect and care. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding routines, walk schedules, medication needs, and any specific preferences for the pet’s comfort and safety. During drop-ins, I make sure pets are checked on, given attention, and cared for based on their individual needs, whether that’s playtime, feeding, litter box or potty breaks, or just companionship and reassurance while their owner is away. For dog walks, I prioritize safety at all times, using secure leashing, staying aware of surroundings, and making sure each walk is appropriate for the dog’s energy level and comfort. I understand how important trust is when someone is allowing access to their home and pet, so I am respectful, reliable, and communicative. My goal is always to make sure pets feel safe, calm, and cared for, and that owners feel fully at ease while they’re away.

About: Hi. Something short about me is that I used to have an american pit when I grew up. I trained her with her responding both to verbal commands and hand gestures. I also have trained and taken care of cats while i was in college. I currently help take care of a mastiff thats approximately 150 lbs so i dont shy from big breeds either. Im looking to get some extra cash on the side to surprise the girlfriend. I can check on the pets throughout the day, play, jog, and chill whenever needed. Ive worked with ones scared and others that cant stop jumping. I dont plan to home or host a pet at the moment, but, I do have a large room that can be used to care for them. I would have to take them for walks as I do not have a fenced in yard

About: I have been our neighborhood, friends, and family go-to pet sitter for as long as I can remember. I have taken care of a wide variety of pets including dogs, cats, birds, fish, hamsters, reptiles, chickens, and roosters. I have a rescue dog named Bernie, whom I have trained to become an ESA. I used to volunteer at the Humane Society and have a deep passion for caring for animals. If you chose to choose me as your petsitter I would love on your fur baby as if they were my own. I am a teacher, so I am currently on summer break. During the school year my schedule is from 7-3:30. I can make a quick stop early in the morning, but most of the quality time with your animal will be spent in the afternoon. I live in an apartment. Multiple times a day I take my dog outside for potty breaks. In the mornings and evenings we will either take a long walk or play in our fenced in dog park. I do not own a crate for my dog, but I have used them in the past.

“I could not have asked for a better experience! We took a family vacation to Disney and had to take along the furbabies as well. My mom normally keeps my girls when I go out of town but since this trip was for her, we had to take my 2 along with her 2 as well. None of them have ever been boarded so I was nervous about trying to find a kennel close to where we were staying. I looked and did not feel comfortable with any of the few in the area. So I started looking on Rover and I am SO glad I did! I found Jon and all of his wonderful reviews. Although still hesitant about someone tending to my dogs while I was at the parks still made me a little nervous. I was able to book him for 3 drop-in visits for every day of our stay. It allowed us to have time at the parks while still having all of the doggies tended to while we were out. All 3 of the girls took right to him and our one little boy wasn't having it (but to be fair, he's that way with everyone, lol). Jon played with them, fed them per my instruction, allowed them to have 30 minutes to an hour of potty/play time. Even played frisbee with my girls which it one of their favorite things to do! If you are looking for someone to tend to your pets while in the Disney area, I would 100% recommend Jon!”

The last time we had a different sitter cancel, and he was able to fill-in last minute. This time we had trouble with our garage opener, and he was very patient as I would sometimes not realize he was already there, and he would have to wait for me. He was always really patient with me and waited to make sure the dogs were always OK. I love having Lynn taking care of the dogs because I know that they are safe.”
