About: I have loved dogs my whole life, but I did not realize how deep that love could be until I adopted my first dog, Flynn, 11 years ago. He was a 90lb German Shepherd with reactivity towards other dogs, which led me down the path of learning everything I could about canine behavior and training. I have taken multiple dog training classes focused on positive reinforcement techniques and have used tools such as clicker training, prong collars, and e-collars. I learned how to navigate situations in which Flynn was reactive, making sure I had full control of a very strong dog at all times. I raised Flynn from 8 weeks old (puppy shark phase) to his calmer senior years. The challenges I faced with Flynn taught me how to read canine body language, manage reactivity, and handle high energy, strong dogs with patience and love. After losing Flynn, I thought I could never get another dog again, but come February 2024, I welcomed 7-week-old GSD mix Artemis (Artie) into my life. It has been a completely different training experience in much more challenging ways. From potty training to crate training and leash manners, she has tested everything I have learned (and helped me learn more). Every challenge and every puppy shark bite has been completely worth it. She is now thriving and continues to learn thanks to consistency, structure, and ongoing enrichment. I also have hands-on experience with senior dog care. I started caring for our elderly family dog (Socrates) after my father passed away 4 years ago. He is now a 14-year-old Dachshund Terrier mix with limited mobility and some incontinence. I provide daily care, including hygiene and administering medication, and provide a clean, comforting environment to support his quality of life. He is getting a lot of treats and love in my care. My goal is to build trust and communication to maintain a safe environment for dogs and others. Whether your dog is a puppy in training, a reactive adult, or a senior who needs special attention, I bring patience and knowledgeable care. Every dog is different, and I take the time to get to know what makes yours special. I'd love to meet them and offer care you can trust. My life revolves around my sweet pup, Artemis (aka Artie). This means that besides work and taking care of her needs, I am quite open. I work remotely some days and can drop in on your babies during the day or in the evenings. On the weekends my availability is wide open. Building trust through consistent communication is important to me. Since I know that every dog is different, I understand each has individual needs and am eager to learn them. As a dog owner, I also understand how important it is for someone who is caring for your dog to know your dog and know what they need (I'm the type who writes a whole manual for any sitter). In my home, I have a senior dog who likes his alone time and an energetic, young GSD mix dog. For daycare, your pups can interact as little or as much as appropriate. I also have a small fenced yard where I can play with the dogs.

About: Hello, this is Joey! I have always had a fondness for dogs throughout my life. I have helped my extended family with watching their elderly dog, who has had a lot of problems with most people but she really likes me. I make sure to approach all pets with kindness and acceptance. Regardless of the challenge, I want to help out pets and seeing dig smiles fills me with joy! I currently work from home with a flexible schedule. Whenever I am needs, I will do my best to accommodate their wishes. As long as you give me some ample time, I will make my schedule work for you! I live with my dog in my apartment but my husband and I always make sure to take her out for walks, play with her, and take her to the dog park to help keep her fit. For my extended family’s elderly dog, I make sure to watch her closely, give her easy to eat snacks, and take her into the backyard to get some exercise. I never rush her and make sure to wait for however long she need.

About: Animals have an incredible ability to ease the tension they sense in the ones they love, so in turn I would like to provide a sense of safety and love with each encounter with your pet. Your chosen family is often stronger than the one you are born into, and these animals that we have taken into our homes and hearts show it clearly and consistently. I have worked in an animal hospital for about 2 1/2 years and in my time I learned many tools to create a safe and welcoming environment. I can trim nails, clean ears, brush out matts comfortably and give sanitary haircuts. I was trained to give thorough baths to make pets squeaky clean! I can also administer medication and have taken care of pets who are getting up there in years. I have experience watching 20-30 dogs in a group setting and can walk up to 7 dogs comfortably at a time. I have basic dog training knowledge and I am familiar with animal behavior and how to deescalate potential dangerous situations and soothe an anxious animal. I will soon be going back to school and have a part-time job so my schedule is flexible. I am looking to add walking pet sitting and bathing back into my routine. Written instructions on specifics on how to care for your pets are helpful in making sure your standards of care are being met. Trust is a need not a want when it come to animals, some need easing into meeting a new person and some are all in on the initial meeting, whatever the case forcing a connection is the best way to destroy it. Taking time to bond is something essential to animal caregiving.

“My Bella babe (yorkie mix) is my absolute best friend/baby. Since my 3 kids moved out to college and on their own, and my husband and I got divorced about 6 years ago, I’ve been very lonely. I’m getting older and am so busy at times I just don’t have time for dog walks very often but luckily Adriana has been my right hand for that, so when I say I wouldn’t just trust anyone with my prized Bella I mean it. Adriana has been trust worthy and is always so safe and loving with her. She is definitely worth the booking thank you again Adriana for everything!”

Marisela G.

Marisela prioritizes each dog's well-being and happiness, is incredibly reliable, and has a natural ability to build trust with both pets and owners. Jingying & Alex W.
“Hi! I’d like to strongly recommend both Jingying and Alex as caregivers for anyone’s pets. They are both devoted animal lovers and are kind patient and loving towards all animals. My dog Holly was an abused rescue and is very suspicious and frightened of most people. Holly loves and trusts both of them and will even allow Alex to bathe her! While Holly is particularly distrustful of women she took to Jingying almost immediately. Jingying is one of the very few women that Holly trusts. Jingying and Alex have no problems handling my sensitive and often difficult dog and have built a great relationship with her. They are both very responsible and reliable. If your pet has dietary issues or health concerns they are very careful to follow any requirements or guidelines you might have. I trust them with my sweet Holly and that’s the highest recommendation I can offer. Your pet will be in loving hands with them.”

Don D.
“I moved from SF to Orange County 5 years ago. My lovely Golden Retriever Dobbie was 1 year old. My job often kept me away on some weekday evenings and even some weekends. I met Don through an online pet sitting ad. The very first time I asked him to dog sit for the evening, I could already see the connection between my Dobbie and Don. When I came home, Dobbie ran to me with tail wagging as usual. But, to my surprise, Dobbie then turned around and ran to Don! Later, I started asking Don to dog sit for my Dobbie over those weekends that I had to be out of town....I often felt guilty for having my Dobbie but not being able to spend all my evenings and weekends with him. Don made my life a lot easier.”

Cedar Evergreen dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jess is absolutely amazing! She took incredible care of Lowe while we were away — it gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. Jess is responsible, communicative, and clearly loves animals. She sent us regular updates and photos, which we really appreciated. We can’t recommend Jess enough and will definitely be booking her again!

Mark was nothing short of amazing. From communication to effort to just his love for our dog Bubbles. Bubbles is a large dog and can be a handful and Mark was patient, caring and we had complete trust in him and his abilities. We 100% recommend and will use his services again in the future.

Carissa is such a professional. She’s patient with our two dogs that are typically shy when meeting people. Very very communicative with regards to how the dogs are doing, sends lots of pics, follows all our unique instructions, and is punctual. So glad she chose to walk our dogs, and will absolutely use her again.

I boarded my dogs with Ana previously and she was wonderful with my boys, so I trusted her to walk my dogs when I was away for an extended time. She already knew what to do, she communicated promptly with me, was on time, and most importantly took great care of my boys!

Anna is the best! My dog is very shy and scared of people, some can’t even get her harness on for walks. Pockets warmed up so quickly to Anna, I got lots of pictures for each walk she did, and my house was just the way I left it. Couldn’t ask for a better person to have found

Julie did an amazing job taking care of my dog. She was attentive, kind, and regularly sent me pictures to keep me updated. My dog can be anxious and dependent at times, and Julie was very gentle, respectful of his routine, and patient with him. She had full access to our house and proved to be trustworthy and professional. I will definitely hire her services again. My dog adores her, and it’s clear she’s a true animal lover. Thank you, Julie, for not only helping us but also making my pets feel secure and well taken care of.
