“Maryline was great! This was my first experience with a sitter who wasn’t family, so I was a bit nervous, and she made me feel at ease. My boys warmed up to her quickly which is unusual for them. She sent lots of photos and updates which I really appreciated. I will definitely book again with Maryline in the future!”

“Veronica was wonderful with our two cats. I would recommend her to anyone and would use her services again anytime. It was the first time I used a sitter, and it worked out perfectly”

“Lex babysat my cat and house for two nights. She was friendly, communicative, and our cat seemed to love her. We came back to a clean house and happy cat. Would absolutely hire her again next time we’re out of town.”

“Henry was an excellent cat sitter and I would highly recommend their services! They watched our two cats over the holiday break. They were punctual, professional, and communicative. They also sent us tons of really great pictures and videos of the cats. Thank you!”

“Rosemary has been a tru asset to us. She takes great care of our 3 cats, plays with them and shows her love in the photos she shares with us while we are away.”

“Rebecca was so great! She kept us informed on every visit, was very sweet to play with our silly, attention loving cat, and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. I will be reaching out to Rebecca again to watch our cat and you should too!”

About: I’ve been dog sitting for over six years and I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities- from couch, potatoes to high energy goofballs. I’m also a veterinary assistant and formal kennel attendant so I’m totally comfortable giving medications, monitoring health, and giving extra love to dogs who need a little extra care! I’m currently working part time as a veterinary assistant so I have set days that I have off and time for this commitment as I await to attend veterinary school. When caring for pets in my clients home, I make sure to follow each pet’s usual routine, as they are creatures of habit. This helps ensure they stay comfortable in their own home while always receiving plenty of attention, playtime, and care.
About: Pet owner all my life. Enjoy taking long walks with dogs. Will give lots of pets and cuddles. And of course fresh food and water. Thank you. Good availability right now- this is my part time income. Looking to pet sit when the kids are in school, mornings and afternoons, but flexible with exact timing. Have dog and cat sat for many friends and neighbors. Our cat is a big part of our family. He greets us when we come home and likes to snuggle on the coach during family time. Plus gets fed on demand and lots of naps. I will treat your pet with love and follow all directions.
“I can’t even begin to explain how great Zachary took care of my dogs. I actually think they were disappointed to have us home! The moment I met him I felt he was perfect for putting my mind at rest with leaving them for the first time. I would highly recommend him and so thankful.”
“Marlene took great care of my cat in her home. She provided excellent communication, updates & picture during his stay. She’s very patient, understanding, friendly & responds quickly. Will definitely book again. Thank you!”

“Maritza was great with our cat, Mushki. She was consistent with showing up and with sending us pictures & short videos of our handsome guy! She did a great job caring for him while we were gone. I highly recommend her and look forward to rebooking her in the near future!”

About: I'm Jonathan (though I mainly go by Jack): Substitute teacher by day (so no daytime walks on school days), pet-care professional any other time! For about a decade, I've been providing top-quality pet care in the New York City and Hudson Valley areas. I'm a thoughtful, sensitive, nurturing person. I take my responsibility to care for your animal very seriously and will do whatever it takes to help them (and you!) feel safe and happy. I put in the time to get to know your pet's unique needs. Older dogs and ones with special emotional needs have become a specialty of mine. I know there are a lot of pet-care professionals on this app. Please check out my reviews and see what others have to say about me. You can trust me to be there for your beloved pet when you can't! I'm currently a substitute teacher, so I'm mainly available in the EARLY mornings and then evenings and weekends for walks, feeding, etc. for dogs and cats. Very open for overnight stays (any night, provided you can accommodate my daytime substitute schedule), though I may need to go visit other clients on the weekends. I can't take pets at my home, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes to care for your pet at yours. I do a quick "get to know you" session before agreeing to a new client, so that I can meet you and your animal, get acquainted with your home, ask important questions about your and your pet's needs, and make sure that I understand exactly how to give your pet the highest level of care!

I know some cats are more playful and some are introverts and they have a range of responses to new people, so I’m good at making them comfortable around me based on their personalities
Castle Point cat parents share their Rover experiences
Jeanette was amazing with our cats when we had to leave for a few days from a medical reason. She was so flexible and spent quality times with them. The cats were well-fed, happy under our care. We didn't have to worry about a single thing. I cannot recommend her enough.

Catherine (Gianna) was GREAAAAAT. This was my first time booking someone to watch my cats rather than asking friends/family, so I was a bit apprehensive, but Gianna made me so comfortable. We did a meet and greet before our booking which was great. I have a skittish cat who doesn’t like to come out when there are other people around but to my surprise she had no problem coming out when Gianna was there. She sent pictures and gave me updates and even picked up a frame that had fell and cracked. Amazing experience and I will definitely be using Gianna to watch my babies during my next trip!

Loren went above and beyond in watching our cat while we were away for a week! This is the first time we’ve ever had someone outside of family watch our cat and we’re extremely anxious, but Loren put all that to ease! From the meet and greet to the final visit has been extremely stressless for us. She sent extremely detailed notes every visit and even brought up our garbage cans and vacuumed up litter in the basement. Would definitely book again!
Samantha is the best! Our cat, who usually hides from everyone, absolutely loves her visits and even waits for her at the door. She is consistent, always on time, communicates regularly, and is completely trustworthy. We feel so lucky to have her caring for our pet. Highly recommend Samantha to anyone looking for reliable and loving assistance with their pet!
