“Christina is a great sitter—super reliable and communicative! She has done drop/in visits for my cat Jolene when I’ve been out of town, and I always look forward to her write ups and photos! I can tell how much she loves animals, including my cat!”

“Jenna was absolutely fantastic! She was so sweet and attentive to our cat, Millie, and was always sure to send us a daily update and the cutest photos! Millie loved her visits and we had such peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. Will definitely book Jenna again the next time we’re away!”

“Maryline was a wonderful pet sitter for my cat Ellie. She came to all visits as asked, was very flexible (especially when I needed to extend my trip and asked her to continue looking after Ellie), and provided me with ample photos and videos (just the way I like it!). And Ellie absolutely loved her! Would book again.”

“Veronica was wonderful with our two cats. I would recommend her to anyone and would use her services again anytime. It was the first time I used a sitter, and it worked out perfectly”

“Rose gets 5 stars for reliability, flexibility with small changes, showing genuine caring, doing reasonable extra tasks when asked and especially communication. I felt my pets were safe in her care and that she would let me know if anything happened. I recommend her work without reservation and will surely hire her again at the next opportunity. Although there is no specific place on the rover app to talk about other pets than dogs and cats, Rose cared for our guinea pigs, hamster and chickens as well. No complaint.”

“Melony took care of my cat for two days. She went above and beyond what I asked of her. My cat is extremely friendly and loves people. She spent the whole time playing with him and giving him love. She even cleaned up the litter he kicked out of the box which I had told her she didn’t have to do. Melony was wonderful, kind and caring.”

“We hired Nicole for the first time for drop in visits for our two cats while we were away for 5 days. She is reliable and puts a lot of care in what she’s doing. She’ll make sure your pets are taken care of before she leaves your household. I highly recommend booking Nicole, since I’ve had bad experiences with prior sitters on this app. It’s good to know there are sitters like Nicole on Rover that will do the job right. Thank you Nicole!!!”

“Lex babysat my cat and house for two nights. She was friendly, communicative, and our cat seemed to love her. We came back to a clean house and happy cat. Would absolutely hire her again next time we’re out of town.”

“Henry was absolutely fantastic! This was my first experience using rover and it couldn't have been smoother! Henry was communicative and thorough with every visit. The pictures and updates made me feel safe and at ease about leaving my cat at home for a few days. I could not recommend more highly!”

“Rebecca was incredible. It was our first time leaving our cats for a few days and she was extra communicative and reassuring throughout the week. We got plenty of updates and pictures and she handled some digestive issues with aplomb. We will definitely be calling Rebecca next time we are out of town.”
About: Hi. My name is Kiki and I love dogs!! I have years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I was a manager at a cage-free dog daycare for 5 years, where I handled everything from group play supervision to administering medications and managing daily care routines. I also volunteered for 3 years at Second Chance Dog Rescue, helping with socialization, walking, and basic training. In addition, I’ve provided trusted pet sitting services in Peekskill, NY for 5 years until the family relocated. I’m trained in pet CPR, comfortable administering all types of medications, and have a dog of my own—so I truly understand how important it is to find someone reliable and compassionate to care for your pets. I have a car, am highly dependable, and treat every animal as if they were my own. Although I work full-time and attend school, I have large daily time blocks available between commitments, which I dedicate to pet sitting, walking, and drop-in visits I care for every pet like my own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while following their regular routine, my skills are administering medications, and giving personalized attention. Every pet has a specific personality so I try to respect that much like people.
“Taus communicated so well with every drop in providing pictures and a quick note when he was looking after our kitty. We could tell she warmed up to him quickly and really enjoyed his company!”

“Maritza was great with my cat, Riley. She took time to meet Riley and get an idea of her daily routine. She provided daily updates with tons of photos and videos and a description of how Riley was during each visit. Maritza was very respectful throughout the process and provided me with a sense of ease knowing my cat was in good hands while I was away. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for pet sitting services! Thank you!”

“I can’t even begin to explain how great Zachary took care of my dogs. I actually think they were disappointed to have us home! The moment I met him I felt he was perfect for putting my mind at rest with leaving them for the first time. I would highly recommend him and so thankful.”
“I needed help with my cats with a very short notice and Mario came through. He was responsive and did above and beyond for my baby and for my sanity. Highly recommended. Will book again!”

About: I have pet sit cats and dogs of family members and friends for nearly 4 years on and off! A family members cat was diabetic and I learned how to give insulin to an elderly cat! I currently work remote, which allows me plenty of time to care for your pets! I can easily drop in during the days and evenings! I don't currently have any animals myself, but I always treat the pets I'm sitting as if they were my own, meaning showing love and affection towards them.
Chelsea cat parents share their Rover experiences
Catherine (Gianna) was GREAAAAAT. This was my first time booking someone to watch my cats rather than asking friends/family, so I was a bit apprehensive, but Gianna made me so comfortable. We did a meet and greet before our booking which was great. I have a skittish cat who doesn’t like to come out when there are other people around but to my surprise she had no problem coming out when Gianna was there. She sent pictures and gave me updates and even picked up a frame that had fell and cracked. Amazing experience and I will definitely be using Gianna to watch my babies during my next trip!

Loren went above and beyond in watching our cat while we were away for a week! This is the first time we’ve ever had someone outside of family watch our cat and we’re extremely anxious, but Loren put all that to ease! From the meet and greet to the final visit has been extremely stressless for us. She sent extremely detailed notes every visit and even brought up our garbage cans and vacuumed up litter in the basement. Would definitely book again!
Samantha is the best! Our cat, who usually hides from everyone, absolutely loves her visits and even waits for her at the door. She is consistent, always on time, communicates regularly, and is completely trustworthy. We feel so lucky to have her caring for our pet. Highly recommend Samantha to anyone looking for reliable and loving assistance with their pet!
