Melissa understood what the trainer was doing and helped us to learn how to work with our dog. She has also fed, walked, and administered meds to our dogs while we were on vacation. About: I am a lover of all animals big and small. I was blessed to own many species of pets while growing up. They taught me about responsibility, and gave me respect and appreciation for all living creatures. I have experience with many species: popular pets like dogs, cats, rabbits, and exotic pets such as ferrets, reptiles and fish. I am proud to say I am a NY state licensed Veterinary Technician with an animal medical background. I’m currently working full time but I like to make time to keep busy during the week with walks, boardings and sittings. I am very flexible. I have the ability to work from home and my husband is home during the day for additional care, when needed. I live in an apartment with a beautiful grassy yard for walking and a nice dog park onsite. I have a spare room for the dog to stay, if needed. I can also accommodate a crate trained dog. About: Hello I have been watching dogs for several years now. I truly love the companionship of dogs. I have watched many breeds of dogs including Labradors, Pit Bulls, Yorkies, you name it. I have many dog toys at home and a sizeable yard for the dog to go potty in. I also have a large home so your pet will have plenty of space to roam around. I will send pictures daily and let you know how your dog is doing. If your dog has any special needs or requires any sort of medical attention I will be there to provide the required assistance. About: Growing up I have had animals all the time such as dogs, cats, hamsters, fishes, etc. I am good at taking care of them and knowing how to help! I will have plenty of time to walk and care for you animal! I always have time to walk or care for you animal whenever you will need it. I live in an apartment building near 2 ponds and a park so there would be plenty of time for walks. There is a fenced in area specifically for dogs to run around and play as well.

About: I’ve been dog and cat sitting all my life. I also fostered a mid-size mixed terrier. I have two cats of my own. I love how all animals have amazing personalities! I can do dog walking, cat check ins with waste clean-up or over nights which ever you may need. I know how to administer meds to both cats and dogs. It is so important to have your furry loved ones pampered while you are away! I am retired so my availability is flexible. I also enjoy sending photos of your four legged loved one while you are away! I have also watched chickens, turtles, guinea pigs, snakes and iguanas. Looking forward to hearing from you! I am retired so I have a flexible schedule! I can go during the day or stay overnight at your home. Whichever you feel most comfortable with would work! When I come to your house, besides walking/feeding, I do waste cleanup as well. Of course, playing is a must! About: I have cared for rabbits, cats, and dogs over the course of my life. I grew up with a rescued kitten who lived a healthy, active life for 15 years before he developed feline diabetes. For two years, we gave him daily injections to maintain his health as best we could. When I began life outside of my childhood home, I adopted a lion head rabbit that lived long enough to become my children’s first pet. While I was living in Queens, New York, I spent a year dog walking and pet sitting around Astoria and Long Island City. My responsibilities included individual and group dog walks, in-home care for elderly and special needs dogs and cats, cat care, litter box/wee wee pad changing, and feeding. I am currently a stay at home mom and freelance writer, so my schedule is very flexible between the hours of 8am and 3pm while my children are at school. As a cat mom, I understand how important safety is when it comes to animal care. From the moment I walk into the house, keeping your pet safe is my priority. During my time with your pet, I will do my due diligence to make sure your pet is safe and happy from harnessing and leashing, through the walk, and finally my departure. I know the importance of staying alert on walks, constantly taking in the environment for any potential dangers from other animals, people, and vehicles.
