About: My senior dog passed away after we shared 18 wonderful years together. I know how much your family members mean to you. I will ensure my time with them will be fun and show care and love as if they were my own. I'm retired and have plenty of time on my hands. One reason for pursuing this opportunity is to get more involved and out of the house. I currently have only my little Percy - he's strictly an indoor cat with his routine - early am feedings and lots of sleep during the day. I love to walk and enjoy having a pal to share the time outside. I do miss my dog, our daily walks are where I hold very fond memories. She loved to bring sticks home and place them in the yard. I have always enjoyed my experience with pet sitters that I've hired. Each person understood how important it is to follow instructions and established routines. About: My pet care experience comes from raising my own Pomeranians over the past couple of years, plus caring for a range of small and medium dogs and cats owned by family and friends. I have hands-on experience with walking, feeding, and grooming, and I'm comfortable adapting my approach to different breeds, sizes, and personalities. Since I'm currently in the process of applying to grad school, I spend most of my time working from home. That gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability, so I can easily fit boarding into my week and give pets the attention they need. I live in an apartment near a dog park, giving pets plenty of room to explore and play. My two Pomeranians are friendly and social, so your pet will have built-in companionship during their stay. I provide a play pen along with toys for entertainment, and I like to prepare homemade food, such as a broth made with meat, carrots, and pumpkin, for a comforting, home-cooked touch.

Honestly, I never thought I'd be a dog mom at all! 😂 Then Mr. Westwood found me two years ago, and somewhere along the way, I became a full-fledged helicopter dog mom. For two years, Mr. Westwood had only one dog sitter. When she had an emergency, I needed to find someone quickly. I jumped on Rover, found Monica, and we scheduled a meet-and-greet at a local park. The meeting went really well, but I'll admit I was still skeptical because my fur baby loves attention and, let's be honest, I'm very particular about who cares for him. To ease my mind, I scheduled a daycare visit first. I dropped him off happy and picked him up, and he was still happy. Monica sent pictures and videos throughout the day and told me what a sweet dog he was. (I happen to agree, but I'm his mom, so I'm a little biased. 😊) Five days later, I left Mr. Westwood with Monica for an entire week. She loved on him, followed all of my feeding instructions, and when his food ran out, she made more. That level of care and thoughtfulness meant everything to me. When I picked him up, I could tell he'd had a wonderful time. He was relaxed, happy, and clearly well cared for. Thank you, Monica! It truly takes a village, and I'm so grateful to have found someone I trust to love and care for my Mr. Westwood when I can't. We'll definitely be back!”
