I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and have experience caring for different sizes, ages, temperaments, and energy levels. I’m experienced with administering basic medications, sticking to feeding schedules, and making sure pets get plenty of exercise, attention, and care. John was absolutely wonderful with our two cats, Layla and Luna! He was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared for them like they were his own. We received regular updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away, and it was obvious our cats were happy and well cared for. John was so perfect with our Betty, who is a rescue with trust issues that are getting better because of the kind of attention that John delivers. John was always on time and courteous and knows intuitively what a dog needs to feel comfortable and safe. I highly recommend him to anyone who doesn't want to worry about the care that their pet is getting.
John has always had a passion about caring for animals and has done a great job watching my family's dog when we're out of town. He has kept our pet on numerous occasions and it's always gone swimmingly. I think John would be a great fit and would be respectful and kind with anyone's pet.
John took great care of my 2-year-old yellow Lab, Rosie, while I was away. She's energetic and loves attention, and he did a great job keeping her active, sticking to her routine, and making sure she felt comfortable in a new environment. He was easy to communicate with, sent regular updates and photos, and was always quick to respond if I had a question. It was obvious that he genuinely cared about Rosie and paid attention to the little things, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I wouldn't hesitate to have John watch Rosie again and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and trustworthy sitter.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I currently have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate a lot of time and attention to the pets I care for. This allows me to be consistent with walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day. I’m available on weekdays and weekends, and I can adapt to your dog’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. Whether that means early morning walks, midday potty breaks, or evening playtime, I’m able to be reliable, responsive, and present.

Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities when caring for dogs in my home. I live alone in a spacious ground-floor duplex with easy outdoor access and a large courtyard right next to my unit, which makes bathroom breaks, fresh air, and playtime simple and stress-free. I aim to create a calm, structured, and welcoming environment where dogs can settle in comfortably and feel at home. I pay close attention to each dog’s routine, energy level, and individual needs—whether that means active walks and play or a quieter, more relaxed environment. I also have access to a strong local dog community and nearby dog parks, so social dogs can enjoy safe play and interaction if that’s something they’re used to and enjoy. At the same time, I’m mindful of each dog’s temperament and always prioritize safety, supervision, and owner preferences. Because I have a flexible schedule and spend a lot of time at home, I’m able to provide consistent attention, regular updates, and plenty of care throughout the day so you can feel confident your dog is safe, comfortable, and in good hands.
