“So glad we found Annali and Winnie has a new friend to drop in and play. Annali was super easy to work with and we will definitely use her again. Highly recommend!”

“Kate was able to come last minute for a drop in visit and was truly a life saver! She played with our 2.5 year old yellow lab, followed our instructions well, and our dog was well cared for. We super appreciate you looking after our pup!”

“Ella took fabulous care of our cats and dogs while we were out of town. Everyone was happy and healthy on our return and we would happily have her pet sit again in the future”
About: Ive taken care of cats and dogs my entire life. My goal is to be a comforting presence in your home for your pet. I love animals and would love to meet your pet I am free most of the day as I am doing school online, so I’m always free to pop in for visits or stay longer Your pets are my first and top priority so anything I do is going to be rooted in taking care of your animal and home
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes my whole life. And for the past 8+ years, I’ve cared for dogs for neighbors, friends, and family. I currently have a Zara, a sweet and calm Golden Retriever, that is ready to play anytime, and a cat Logan, he loves to spend his day exploring outside. From energetic puppies who need extra playtime to older dogs who need gentle care, I’m comfortable with every personality and routine. I love long walks, belly rubs, and making sure pets feel loved and safe while their owners are away. I’m also happy to stick to your pet’s exact schedule. I treat every pet as if they were my own, and I know how important communication is, so I’ll always try to give updates. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so I’m home most of the day and can give plenty of attention to your pets. After I drop my two kids off at school in the morning, I have a very flexible schedule for walks, playtime, feedings, and cuddles throughout the day. I’m also available most evenings and weekends for pet sitting or special requests. I have a fenced yard, a very friendly Golden Retriever who loves making new friends, and a cat who enjoys lounging outdoors during the day. I always supervise outside playtime and can separate pets if needed to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I follow your pet’s routine closely, keep fresh water available at all times.
About: My wife, Connie, a retired nurse, and I have had six dogs over 35 years. We miss them dearly. I have raised dogs from puppyhood through their senior years so I understand the patience, structure and affection that go with it. I am retired from my legal practice of 35 years, and very active. I love long walks and have a nice fenced backyard if pet sitting is needed. Only your dog(s) will be in our care during your booking. Whether your pup needs long walks, gentle companionship or just someone who treats them like family I’m committed to make them feel safe, loved and genuinely cared for. After being self-employed for 35 years I am looking for something to keep me busy and I can’t think of a better way to spend my time and I have a very flexible schedule. In my home I will provide a warm, clean environment, plenty of attention and lots of outdoor activity since I’m active and retired, with plenty of time to give. And again, your pup will be the only one I care for during his/her stay…
“Bonnie is a really awesome 👏🏼 Sitter, she has helped our fur babies and any added instructions we have stated needed to be completed to care for dogs and new baby chicks 🐥🐥🐥. Thank you Bonnie”

“Kimberly takes such wonderful care of my deaf/blind old pup, Ollie and my shy kitty, Louise! She had dropped by to care for them a few times and I absolutely adore the photos she sends. I can just tell that both of my animals are comfortable and curious with Kimberly. I know it’s because Kimberly treats them like they were her own. It is so clear that she loves animals and really will go the extra mile (or few) to make sure the animals are cared for. Five stars and would highly recommended!”

About: I’m a mature lady with a can do attitude. We have had dogs and cats (and a variety of other critters) in our home through the decades. Nothing better than bringing your dog along for that countryside hike/trail walk. At one with nature. I do have the attitude that I’m the boss on the walk and our dogs are part of the pack. I like it best when our dogs have opportunity to be off leash. Not that will happen with your dog unless we find a dedicated off leash park and permission from you. I offer dog walking and pet visits in your home and boarding at my home BOARDING. I require to use a crate at times I’m gone as I live with my disabled adult daughter and care staff. I don’t mind the weather unless it is exceptionally hot or cold for your pet. I’ve got all weather gear! I am available most weekdays from 8am-ish (depending on travel time). I can do some weekend walks depending on length of notice. (my other job is a carer to a person with disabilities) I have a fenced in yard). Crating is an option should any fur baby feel the need to 'get away'. (Our own dog passed over the rainbow bridge in May) I require a meet and greet with new clients prior to accepting a new client. I just want to make sure we’re a good fit all around. This is best done 48-72 hours prior to any booking. A boarding client gets at least two walks a day as well as plenty of yard time if they desire. We have a good sized fenced yard. If I’m gone, your dog will be crated for a short while in a comfy spot. I consider crates as a sanctuary/ a place of safety for your fur baby. I am returning to Rover after some medical issues that needed my full attention. I am now easing back into care services. I am available for the odd walk. I am NOT available for regular daily/weekly scheduled walks. Dog care is part of my regular activities which include yoga, tai chi, volunteer work and care for my adult daughter. Pets in my care enjoy plenty of outdoor time and typically two walks in the daylight hours. They may accompany me on my own appointments when they are pet friendly. I prefer only one pet at a time, but will consider two from same family.
“I am sososo appreciate of Lauren’s last minute help! I was at work and dealing with some craziness and she was so incredibly flexible and kind when things were unclear. 10000000% couldn’t recommend enough. I and Blue are sososoo grateful.”

“Harlie took such great care of my cats! She gave me thorough updates and great pictures. Everything was nicely cleaned up and tidy when I got home which was so nice! She even brought in some packages I had received. Will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Emily G. is fantastic! She cared for our pittie like she was her own pup. Emily sent us wonderful photos of playing with Roxy, and every meal and walk as well. She was always on time and whenever we came home after Emily had visited, we could tell Roxy was very happy. Roxy is a reactive dog, she is afraid of small animals and very afraid of dogs, and Emily G. was happy to take on this extra work. This means she walked Roxy and when she saw an animal would redirect with treats. Basically Emily helped us train Roxy! I cannot recommend her enough.”

About: I have taken care of 4 dogs at once. 3 big, 1 small. They required a lot of attention. I also had to give medication to 2 of the dogs. I enjoy spending time with dogs and fitting to their needs I have school during the weekdays from 8-9 am to 2 or 3. I am able to spent the night at peoples houses and change my schedules to fit the dogs needs. I am able to do anything that fits the owners needs. I make sure to watch the dogs often and give them attention they need.

“Christina was amazing! Sent lots of pictures and updates and loved on our dogs while we were away. Definitely recommend and we will definitely have her watch our girls again.”

“I would rebook with Kat. She took good care of our 3 kitties while we were away. She followed our overly complicated feeding instructions and sent pictures of them eating and a few of them hanging out. One of the weekend days she definitely fed them all breakfast closer to lunchtime, but I still felt like they were in good hands, and in her defense I had expressed some flexibility in their feeding time. She also went out of her way to set our cat camera back up after the cats knocked it over so we could continue spying on one of their favorite hangout spots. Cats were happy and healthy when I got back.”

About: I have experience in giving pets medications weather its pills or injection. I have experience in elderly pets, I am very patient and very attentive, and I have great communication. I do pet care as my main job, so it fits in my day perfectly. Plus I can take the pet (s) with me when I have to leave the apartment for any length of time. I will always communicate with the owners before hand. I am VERY attentive to every pet/clients that I take care of. I always make sure to have some booties on hand. Depending on the weather, I always make sure the pet is in the shade, on the grass, or even some dirt. I make sure that I have extra pet rain gear as well

Another successful vacation knowing our cat was in good hands with Jeanette. We can't recommend her enough. She is always quick to communicate and I love the updates she sends about about our cat while we're gone. If you need a trustworthy and caring sitter, she's the one!

Our dog is a high energy lab and we always know she will be well taken care of when Kate comes over. Our dog looks forward to her human friend coming to do a potty break, play time, meal time, one last potty break, and then leaving. We know she is in amazing hands and we can relax when we aren’t home knowing our dog will be well taken care of and all instructions are closely followed. Kate is a gem of a human and we are forever grateful that we can utilize Kate’s services

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
