“Maci took great care of my sweet girl. She provided regular updates and photos and I feel my dog was well taken care of. I wound totally recommend Maci as a sitter. Thank you!”

About: A natural born caretaker, I’ve taken care of Dogs, cats, birds and kids most of my life. I was also a full time Realtor for 10 years so I’m familiar with navigating households in a professional manner. I live a sober, simple, happy life and if we seem to be a good fit, I would love to help care for your pets and your home as if they were my own. 🙏💕✌️ My availability is open right now. I am new to the area but have my own transportation so I’m more than willing to travel when and where needed. I would care for pets in YOUR home. I am confident in my abilities to both pet and house sit as I was a housekeeper/mom for 25 years, a realtor for 9, and business owner so I’m very respectful of others and their homes. I have been a pet owner most of my life. Also did pet sit regularly for my moms 2 dogs for past year and LOVED it 🥰. I very naturally keep a neat home, follow a schedule and tend to others needs easily.
“Jennifer was great! She was communicative and send photos unprompted almost every day. She was even kind enough to leave our cat some gifts in his stocking as she watched him over the holidays. Will book her again!”

“Rae did a great job with our little girl. She spent lots of time with her and got to know her well. She sent us photo and video updates daily. We will use her again.”

“Jalen did a good job staying with my dog over the winter holidays. He gave her her anti-seizure meds twice a day, walked her, and sent regular updates. Having an older dog who needs medications, what I cared about the most is her safety, and I felt comfortable leaving her with Jalen.”

“Allison did an amazing job taking care of our puppy dog while we were away for Thanksgiving. She sent us lots of photos and our baby girl clearly adored her. We felt at ease knowing she was in good hands.”

About: My name is Noemi and I have lots of experience with dogs under my belt. I’ve worked at a dog daycare, the humane society, and a vet clinic, and I’m currently going to school to be a groomer. I even have four dogs of my own which keeps me on my toes. I’m currently working part-time as a bather about to go to grooming academy. As of right now I’m available Tuesday and Wednesday all day and I’m available anytime before 12:30 on Thursdays. I have four very friendly dogs. When they get a little too crazy we put them in their kennels to take a little nap, or enrichment to keep them occupied.
About: I have fostered Bichons thru Bichon Fur Kids Rescue in addition to previous dog sitting. I have also shown in AKC dog shows. Love dogs ! I am available 7 days a week. I prefer over-nights at my home. I am retired and have one 15 year old Bichon that loves playmates. I have a fenced yard and an unused tennis court to let the dogs run in. Walking on leash in the park is fun too.
“Stephanie did a great job house sitting for us on short notice. The dogs, the cat, and the house were all well taken care of. We got updates and photos daily and felt comfortable right from our meet and greet. We'd definitely book again!”

About: I will tailor the love and care for your pet based on his or her behavior and personality. I have both a senior dog and a pup, so there’s a huge range of personalities in between both. My senior dog requires at least an hour inside then wants his own time in the yard as for the pup he requires a lot of exercise and then nap time in the couch. Let me know your fur baby ‘s personality and I’ll be sure to accommodate. At my home you have the option to be completely outside or inside, we have cement and grass and lots of fruit trees for them to smell and explore. I would prefer for your dog to be potty trained in advanced if he or she requires to be inside.
“Donatella is AMAZING! It was my first time using Rover and I chose her because of the great reviews from her clients and thought I'd take a chance on her. Turns out, it was a great decision. I have a senior dog that has severe separation anxiety and cannot be left alone. Donatella was so kind and patient with my baby. She even sent me updates several times throughout the day. I highly recommend her for all services in her expertise.”

About: Hi there! I’ve cared for animals of all ages in households with multiple cats and dogs, also including exotic pets. I grew up with a pet husky and miniature poodle, and have experience walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I work in the morning/ early afternoon as a Barista ~20 hours a week. I am generally free early morning (before 8am), and afternoon-nighttime. I am off ~3 days a week (usually between Monday-Thursday) during which I can give extra time and attention to pet care. I have years of experience caring for and walking all kinds of dogs and am very attentive to the emotions and needs of each animal.
About: Hello! I’m a Zoology student working toward becoming a veterinarian and a Military Conservation Agent veteran. I have hands-on experience with a wide range of animals, including emergency care and working alongside veterinarians, and I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. With my background, I can also provide informed medical guidance when needed. I’m especially a great fit if your dog needs extra care—such as medical support or recovery monitoring. I can administer medications, closely track their condition, and offer cross-border vet services to Mexico, either accompanying you or independently taking your dog for care. My goal is to keep your dog safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. As a full-time student, I work around my class schedule and maintain a high level of flexibility. My only fixed commitments are my lab sessions, but outside of those times, I can adjust my availability to fit your needs, including early mornings, evenings, and most daytime hours. I have professional experience handling high-drive even dangerous animals, including wolfdogs and wildlife. I know how to manage strong breeds safely and calmly. I respect your home and property. I use professional handling techniques to ensure safety during walks, and I am fully capable of providing basic medical care and behavioral support if any issues arise during my stay."

About: Hey there! My name is Natasha and I have been an avid dog lover since I was young. My partner and I both WFH and we have a fully fenced in front and backyard for the pups to play and roam. With my 8+ years of dog care experience, it's my pleasure to make our house your dog's favorite home away from home! A little about me: My first dog was a Christmas gift when I was 16. Despite being on crutches, I learned a lot about dog training and care. Fast forward to 7 years ago, I rescued my border collie and trained her to become a service dog. We go everywhere and do (almost) everything together - including taking care of other dogs! I also now have a Foster dog, Ashe, who is very docile, gentle, and sweet. She's just happy to be here! I am also happy to watch your pet(s) at your home as my partner can take care of the gang here at home while I'm away. Whatever works best for you! Either way - your pets will be loved, mentally and physically engaged, and cared for however long you need! I work remote full-time and set my own schedule. Nyla joins me for runs, frisbee sessions at the park, hikes, and fetch 5-6 days a week. After that, it’s all cuddle puddle. We also do some training on our walks for breakfast! We go for a long walk in the morning and evening, with plenty of short breaks throughout the day - or one of the aforementioned activities! Safety is of utmost importance to me. I know many dogs have lots of ways they communicate their boundaries and I keep a close eye for any or all of them your dog may show. We have a fully fenced in front and backyard, a way to divide the two, and live in a residential neighborhood. I work with each pet to learn their comfort level and earn their trust on their terms and timetable. Nyla and our foster are both crate trained so separation is always available if need be!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 716 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Campo. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Campo walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Campo maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Campo choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
