“Doug and Marisol were amazing. This was the first time our dog has stayed with anyone over night and they kept me updated and sent me pictures throughout her stay. I know they were successful with keeping her comfortable because when we went to pick her up she looked so happy. Thanks so much Doug and Marisol.”

“Jennifer does a great job taking care of our two dogs and she is very accommodating when scheduling picking up or dropping off. They are always happy to stay there when we travel. The dogs come home clean and very healthy. She even gave our older dog his medication twice a day. Would definitely recommend Jennifer as your next pet sitter.”

“Lisa was so wonderful and Roux had a great time with her and her pup. She’s fast with her replies, communicative, and shares updates throughout the entire process. She truly cares and ensured Roux was safe and comfortable. We will definitely call her again.”

“Anyely was amazing. She texted pics every day with comments about behavior and more. Totally flexible with delivery and pick up and my little dog Kayla was clearly well taken care of.”

“Nate, Ray, and their fur babies were awesome! We have since moved from Florida, but if I was local, we would love to book again! Thank you for your great babysitting of my puppy!”

“Kirsten took great care of Harley while we were away. She provided regular updates with photos and video and went above and beyond in making sure our dog felt at home. Highly recommend!”

“This is our second time with Betty in less than a month. We knew exactly who to contact when we decided to take a last minute trip. My pup loves spending time here. She gets so much love. She is always happily exhausted when she comes back home. Thank you Betty for taking such great care of my baby!”
“Julie was wonderful, sweet, kind, and understanding. I had a great experience with her. Updates were provided and my pups were well taken care of. I will definitely use her again.”

“Brooke and Steve took such great care of our dog while we were gone! We got a ton of pictures and updates while we were gone, and never worried that he was getting anything but the best of care in our absence. Our flight was even delayed an hour on the day we were supposed to pick him up and we felt bad, but they were so extremely nice and accommodating. We would definitely have Tony stay with them again!”

“Tiffany & her family provided Rocket with suck love and care while we were out of town for the day. Knowing that he was in kind capable hands gave us peace of mind. Bonus was Rocket met a new friend, Tiffany’s poodle, Cookie. Tiffany thank you again for taking care of our Rocket!”

“I’ve taken my Malinois here a few times and he loves it. He is always well cared for and leaves happy. I’ve left him here for up to a week and am totally comfortable doing so. I will definitely continue using their services.”

“Ryan and Dolores were so good with our very old dog. They sent frequent updates, and it was obvious they were treating her like part of the family. They went out of their way to help with a minor medical issue with our dog as well. Thank you so much!”
About: We own a Border Collie, tuxedo cat, chickens, a snake, and a goat. I grew up around animals too and I've learned a lot from my mom and have had the experience not only caring for multiple dogs, but also cats, rats, horses, rabbits, chickens, goats, hamsters, snakes, and hermit crabs. I have a sensitive heart for all animals. I promise to take good care of your furry family members so that you can relax and know that they are in good hands. We have a high energy dog, a cat, a snake, chickens and a goat and taking care of them is part of my regular routine. Animal lover here, so I can guarantee that your pet or pets will be given the love, attention, and care that I give my own.

“Isabelle was great! This was my dog’s first sitter experience so I was a bit worried about how she would react, but I was glad to see that she was happy, comfortable, and well taken care of! I also appreciated Isabelle sending updates and pictures of my dog while we were away. I’ll be using Isabelle’s services again, and I highly recommend her!”

“Brian was great! Our puppy was well cared for and happy. He sent pictures and updates and was very communicative. It was also an amazing added bonus that he picked her up and dropped her back off at our house on what was a very difficult day for us. Highly recommended!!”

“Marielle continues to take great overnight care of my dog, Nala. She’s boarded my dog twice now, once for 4 nights and most recently for 10 nights as I left the country on vacation. She was prompt in her replies and send me pics along the way. My dog loves to hang out with her and her dog, Hustle! I will continue to book Marielle!”

“Raycel watched my 3 year old mini aussie for three days while I was having my wedding in Jamestown--she was super communicative and responsive, very flexible with pick up and drop off, located conveniently and went above and beyond to bring our dog to be present during our wedding reception despite our dog getting hyper and being a handful. She handled her with ease (and treats)! Could not have asked for a better person or home to care for our dog--our dog was happier and more relaxed at Raycel's than she has ever been when boarded overnight at a variety of at-home stays. Photos throughout her stay put us at ease during a very stressful time and we couldn't have been more grateful. Highly recommended for those in Newport/Jamestown/Middletown and nearby areas.”

The median cost per night for dog boarding in Campo is $53

If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Campo home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Campo.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Campo sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
