About: I’ve had dogs since I was 6, I’ve taken care of them since I was 10, they’re really part of the family and I know the care and love they deserve, I’d be honored to be there for your fur babies when you need them taken care of by someone you can trust. I’m especially experienced with large dogs, I grew up with a Great Dane. I’m off for the summer so I have a generally open schedule until mid August, just let me know when you need me and we can make it work. About: I have taken care of animals since a young age, including horses, pigs, sheep, and chickens, but most importantly— dogs and cats!! I have experience watching my families own dogs from puppies to seniors as well as house sitting for my neighbors who have had up to three dogs and two cats at a time. I am also experienced in house sitting and have watched and cared for many neighbors, friends and families homes over the years. I am currently a graduate student so my schedule is very flexible and while pet sitting I would only be gone for up to two hours at a time, twice a day. I can work from home most of the time and am available most weeks and weekends. I am currently only available for house sitting as my home does not allow animals. I currently have two 8-month-old best friends at home in Ocean Beach: Disco, my friendly, playful puppy, and Allie, my confident and curious kitten. Both are young, social, and well-behaved. With your permission, I’d be happy to bring either along if you’d like your pup to get some supervised socialization. Disco loves meeting and playing with everyone, while Allie usually prefers observing the action from somewhere up high! I pay close attention to each dog’s personality, body language, comfort level, and individual needs. I’m happy to reinforce existing training or work on leash manners, recall, impulse control, socialization, confidence, and basic obedience while they’re in my care. Most importantly, I want to provide an affordable, dependable service for our local dog community so that great walks, enrichment, socialization, and attentive care are accessible to dogs who might otherwise not get enough of them. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine with my 9-month-old puppy, Disco. Our days are built around regular walks, exercise, training, play, socialization, and downtime, so adding another pup to our adventures fits naturally into my schedule. I’m home and available throughout much of the day and can easily accommodate walks, drop-ins, house sitting, training sessions, baths, or longer outings. If your dog enjoys company, they’re also welcome to join Disco for walks, playtime, training, or adventures around Ocean Beach! I care for every pet according to their individual personality, routine, training, and comfort level. I’ll follow your house rules and preferred commands, reinforce good habits, and give them plenty of exercise, enrichment, play, and attention. Safety and trust come first, especially when introducing dogs to new environments or animals. I pay close attention to body language and temperament and never force an interaction. If you’re interested in socialization, I can also bring Disco or Allie along for a carefully supervised introduction. Otherwise, they’ll stay home and your pet will have my full attention.
