I have plenty of time to play with paws and claws. i am able to be there for your pet whenever you decide to have a sitter. i have 1 friendly German shepherded, i have a house for your pet to stay cozy in, i have a fenced yard where your pet can play, also i have a crate to keep your pet safe if needed.

About: I have had 3 dogs and 3 hamsters in my life. I love playing, walking, and taking care of my dogs and making sure they get the best life possible! About: I have three cats of my own (all successfully introduced as adults), and have spent my whole life taking care of the cats in my family. Over the past few years, I have been regularly caring for my friends pets when they go out of town for extended periods of time. I have cared for cats of all ages and personalities, from kittens to seniors and from outgoing to shy. I am also an artist, and will happily draw a portrait of your cat as an added gift with my care! I work part time at my day job 2-3 days a week from 9-5. I have a very open schedule, able to care for your pet any day whether that be morning, evening, or night. I have reliable transportation and don’t mind traveling throughout the county. When first cats, I allow them to approach me on their own to get to know me on their own terms. If allowed, I will given them a treat to let them know I am a friend. I will start off my visit by checking their food, giving them fresh water, and cleaning their litter box. Once I have spent this time around them, I will see if they are in the mood to either play or be pet. I will pay attention to their body language before initiating physical affection. If they seem like they are just in the mood to spend time in the same space without much interaction, I will either read a book or draw in my sketchbook so I can keep them company.

About: Being around dogs since childhood, I'm very sensitive to their needs. As a prior dog owner myself, I've dealt with several situations, in working with dogs during rehab, caring for a dog with special needs and adapting to senior care. I have also taken care of dogs for friends and coworkers. For the time being, my services come as a package deal. Please only book if your dog is for certain comfortable with toddlers. My child has been exposed to different dogs, including larger dogs such as a lab, and he knows to be respectful and give them their space. There will be no tail pulling, taunting or any other form of bullying permitted while we are with your pet, as we are to be gentle with all animals. For shorter drop-ins or walks I can have my child secured in a hiking backpack. Currently, I/we are best available for weekend sits, though weekend or evening walks and check-ins are also available. We are also available for longer stays if your pet is used to you being at work during the week. We'd love the opportunity to get puppy love when when possible. First and foremost, I understand that every pet is different, with unique needs, temperaments and personalities. Some are just fine while their owner is away, while others may display anxious behavior during this time. It is my goal that no matter what they experience, that they be as comfortable as possible. Of course I would be mindful of what your pets are and are not allowed... in my own experience, I was never one to give my dog human treats unless it was a very special occasion, so I can be respectful and understanding of any rules specific to your preference for your dog(s). I am happy to take them outside, drive them to a nearby park if that is something you are comfortable with, I think communication when it comes to your loved one is key.

About: I have always been the biggest animal lover. I am vegan for ethical reasons! I used to volunteer for the Paws Adoption Center in Chicago. There, I was involved with the community outreach team, and I’d help put together adoption packets and pamphlets. I mostly spent my time doing physical labor— that is, walking the dogs, cleaning up after them, etc. In San Diego, I live with my roommate’s friendly little Maltese dog in a pet-friendly apartment. Growing up, my family has had a total of four dogs. Three of them we adopted about 15 years ago, and I witnessed them through their teething process and helped potty trained them. A couple of years ago, we welcomed a new, adult dog into our home in Chicago. During winter break of 2017, I successfully taught her several new tricks. In addition, family members and friends have asked me to pet-sit during special events or lengthy vacations. I am very willing to work with new dogs with different personalities who may require special care. My schedule is completely open, and my apartment is a comfortable, clean, and spacious place for dogs to stay in. I am especially willing to travel to your home if that happens to be your preferred option. I am looking forward to accommodating dogs to their own special needs. I am working part-time and can check on your dog at least every six hours! Many days, I only work four hour shifts, so I can probably check on them even more often! I am very neat and clean!
