There, I was involved with the community outreach team, and I’d help put together adoption packets and pamphlets. Simba came home with his tale tucked.. not only bc we had to give him calming medication or that we had an hour drive home.. but bc he met an angel named Halo (Charles' cat) and is lovesick. He seems to have found love, so I have a suspicion I have been replaced as Simba's #1 girl. I thought #2 isn't so bad right? But I soon came to learn I actually have dropped to #3, bc Simba has found a new bestie in Charles' daughter. Who is #1 between Halo and daughter? “Brooke and her husband, Steven, were amazing! (I hope I got his name right, my dog was rather excited when he introduced himself). My stay was very last minute as I was coming down from LA, so they didn't have a chance to meet my dog before his stay with them. They were SUPER accommodating in taking him in really early in the morning and late at night (9:30 pm), so I could go do touristy things in SD. My dog is an excited barker when he meets people, and bright at 8:30 am, the two of them came out to greet him extremely cheerful and thankfully very nice and understanding while I apologized for his barking. They have a great house with a backyard. They were super chill about Marty hanging out with them on the couch and it seemed like they had a mellow day. Since it was only a day, I mentioned they didn't have to take photos of him, but throughout the day, they sent me adorable selfies of them having fun with my pup and it made my day! Their positivity and enthusiasm made me feel so at ease and I highly recommend them. I will definitely contact them when I'm back in town again.”

The morning I dropped him off, I placed Cooper down on the pavement to see how he would react. To my amazement, Betty’s kind spirit attracted him like a moth to a flame. He ran over, pounced into her open arms, and followed her into her the house without so much as a cry. When I picked him up he that evening he gave her a million kisses before leaving. The following day, he did the same but with even more gusto. I am currently employed part time. My work hours vary, but my days off are always Tuesday/Wednesday/Sunday. I am a dog groomer for a living and have the option to bring dogs that I am pet sitting into work with me to socialize them with the dogs I work on. That being said, I can provide 24 hour care 7 days a week due to the flexibility of my job. I absolutely love working with animals and am very experienced in the field. I would love to make new furry friends! I live in a community of houses that has beautiful streets to take a walk on, including a lake and a dog park. It is an animal friendly home, with no other dogs at the moment besides the dogs I take care of for people! There will be plenty of opportunities to socialize with other dogs outside of the house.
About: I believe dogs can tell when you truly care about them. I will give your dog plenty of love and attention, whether that be walks, time in the yard, time on the couch, or belly rubs. I take lots of pictures to let the owner know that their pup is having a good time in my care. Our “grandpa golden” golden retriever is our only fur baby right now, and is a patient and sweet companion for any dog! We can crate your dog upon request, but usually expect your pet to enjoy our home and yard alongside our family. We will treat your baby as one of our own!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid, so I have plenty of experience. I also own a 5 month old mini aussiedoodle who is great with other small/medium sized dogs. She is crate trained, sleep trained, potty trained, and leash trained. I have lots of experience with dog training and have done a lot of research on it! I work from home full time, so I will be able to give potty breaks as often as I need to. I typically take Callie (my dog) to the park 2-3x a day and out to go potty every couple hours. About: I have taken care of animals of all kinds since a young age. I grew in a home with cats, and later dogs were introduced. However, outside of the home life I was surrounded by dogs! The daycare I attended had an in-home grooming service, and I got to help groom the 13 dogs that lived there! Finally to the good stuff; I’ve been a reliable dog/house sitter for the same couple for the last 5 years.
