About: Are you looking for someone that will give your furry friend the care they deserve? I am a veterinary assistant who has been caring for animals pretty much my whole life. I have experience walking dogs, house sitting, and so much more. Due to my vet experience and schooling, I believe I can give your pet the attention, love, and care they need. I am currently taking time to focus on school and becoming a registered veterinary technician. Due to this, I am not working anywhere right now. This means I have a flexible schedule to care for your baby! I am ready to take on any responsibility needed to care for your animals. I have experience with feeding, walking, giving medications, puppies, cats, senior dogs, and so much more. I want to make the stressful process of you leaving your animals and stress free as possible. I have two dogs and one cat at home and will care for yours as if they are my own.
“My family and I highly recommend Alexis and Adam as dog walkers! They walked my two German Shepherd mixes early in the morning for 16 consecutive days for an hour each while we were on vacation. Always on time, always submitting report cards with photos and the route they walked. On top of that, my dogs, who are rescues with shyness or aggression toward strangers AND severe dog reactivity on walks, LOVED Lex and Adam! As a professional dog trainer and walker myself, I’m extremely careful with people who interact with my dogs, and Lex and Adam exceeded my expectations! It’s clear to me that they take caring for their clients’ dogs seriously and both are extremely nice and personable. Thank you Lex and Adam!!”

About: Hello and welcome to ADVENTURES WITH BEAN 🌄 My name is Becca and am a San Diego native who has been exploring the world with my dog/best friend, Stella Bean We are very friendly, active, and have lots of love to give. In my home I believe in treating our guests as family, so that means all furry friends and humans are treated with the same love, kindness, and respect as the next 🌈.Our home is small and comfy but we have a large yard for any size dog to play around in. Taking care of animals is my full-time job so your pet is my priority. I am a very active person, I usually like to go on hikes or walks in canyons, beaches or parks. I double-majored in ecology and biology so nature and animals are my passion. I have extensive experience with animals and a deep understanding of animal behavior. I have worked with dogs w special-needs- I cared for a dalmatian who would have seizures and was very hyperactive, as well as many years caring for my blind dog, Tikka. I also have experience administering insulin to pets who have diabetes. From miniature chihuahua to great dane, I’ve worked with almost every breed. My schedule is flexible, so if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out. PLEASE INQUIRE ABOUT PACKAGE DEALS FOR DAYCARE!!! Pet care is a way of life for me. I care for Stella 24/7 but when we have company, I like to get up around 7am and plan my days around the dogs/animals I have the opportunity to take care of. From the beaches, to the mountains and canyons in between, I enjoy making my lifestyle an active one and enjoy bringing dogs along with me. When things slow down and I enjoy watching the dogs run around the yard while I work on projects around the house. In our home, dogs have the opportunity to venture between the house and the patio or back yard freely (so long as you are okay w that). The backyard is completely fenced in and double-gated. There is also fresh water dispersed around the property, along with plenty of toys and chews to play with. There is also a patio area so our furry friends can get some shade, if needed. When it comes to cats, I am more than happy to accommodate any size cat, I have a loft in my house that cats love to climb up into and laze about. They have toys and scratching posts up there as well for enrichment. I also have a beautiful beam that stretches above my kitchen that they tend to love to lay on and watch people walk around below. Every animal is different with its own unique temperament . What I enjoy doing is creating a comfy, secure, calm, and fun environment for each and every animal I get the opportunity to meet and care for.
About: What sets me apart is the level of care, patience, and attention I give to each pet as an individual. I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. I take time to learn every pet’s routine, personality, energy level, and comfort needs so they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. I’m especially attentive to behavior and body language, which helps me respond quickly if a pet is stressed, anxious, or needs extra support. For dogs, that means consistent routines, safe walks, positive reinforcement, and plenty of engagement. For cats, it means respecting their space, maintaining a calm environment, and offering affection on their terms. Communication is also a big differentiator for me. I provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so pet parents feel at ease. I treat every pet as if they were my own, prioritizing safety, cleanliness, and emotional well-being at all times. I work from home most days as a business owner. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I plan my schedule around feeding times, walks, playtime, and check-ins to make sure each pet receives consistent care and attention. I’m very organized and reliable, so pets can stay on their normal routine, which helps reduce stress while their owners are away. Throughout the day, I make time for exercise, companionship, cleaning litter boxes, refreshing food and water, and monitoring each pet’s wellbeing. I also build in time for updates to pet parents, including photos and notes. Because I prioritize pet care, I’m flexible and able to adjust my routine to meet each pet’s specific needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and focus on keeping the pet’s routine consistent. This includes feeding, walks, litter box maintenance, playtime, medication administration if needed, and companionship. I also keep the home tidy, bring in mail if requested, and provide regular updates with photos and notes so pet parents feel confident and informed.

Pet care fits well into my routine, and I have flexible availability throughout the week. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I’m available from 12 PM–3 PM due to school, but I always make time to provide pets with reliable, loving, and attentive care. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, and any special instructions from owners. About: I have taken care of animals of all kinds since a young age. I grew in a home with cats, and later dogs were introduced. However, outside of the home life I was surrounded by dogs! The daycare I attended had an in-home grooming service, and I got to help groom the 13 dogs that lived there! I’ve also been fortunate enough to be a part of the training process for some dogs that have been in 4-H! Finally to the good stuff; I’ve been a reliable dog/house sitter for the same couple for the last 5 years. In the span of those 5 years, they moved 3 houses, and so I got to experience first hand how upset the pups can get when their environment is changed. Some of the basic duties include feeding and making sure they have water, making sure they’re going to the bathroom regularly, being walked and played with regularly and cleaning up messes. Some additional tasks are taking them to their vet visits and administering medication (pill-form)! My availability is pretty flexible! I’m a full time student, so I currently am not working. For more information regarding scheduling please contact me directly! I will treat your home as I do mine. I take pride in a clean living space! I will take care of feeding, and making sure they have water. I will ensure they have been walked, played with, have had treats, and are snuggled at night time! I can administer medication (pill form), if necessary.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
