Jalen did a great job walking my big dog that loves to pull on his leash. He gave good daily updates and photos and I had great peace of mind while on my vacation knowing my dog was being well cared for. Will definitely be booking again.

About: We’ve been raised around dogs and cats our whole life. As a result, we have vast experience of taking care of animals. Currently, we are the owners of 2 labrador retrievers, so we are in tune with the demands and joys of taking care of dogs. We are available for pet care in the morning before 7 and in the evening after 5 Monday through Friday. We are very flexible on the weekends. At our home, we have a fenced in small yard and also a dog park within my condominium which is spacious, clean, and fenced in. When taking care of dogs at other’s homes, we are willing to follow their instructions.

Through my training experience, I have worked with puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, helping them build confidence, learn new skills, and receive the care they need. What sets me apart is my hands-on experience with a wide variety of dogs and my ability to adapt to each pet's unique personality and needs. I have also cared for my own foster dog, which taught me patience, consistency, and the importance of creating a safe and loving environment for every animal. I am comfortable administering medications and following specific care instructions to ensure your pet stays healthy and happy while you're away. About: As a Navy veteran and former corpsman, my entire job was focused on taking care of people. I bring that same level of care, reliability, and attention to detail to looking after your pups. I’m also a proud dog dad to three rescues of my own—including one who needs special medical attention every single day. Because of that, I’m completely comfortable with unique routines, medications, and giving them extra tender loving care. I'm currently a student, my schedule is super flexible. Whether you need daily walks, quick drop-in visits, or overnight boarding, I’m here to help and can easily adjust to whatever routine works best for you and your dog. I always want to make your dog or cat feel safe and at home while you’re away. To accomplish this I make your dog part of my family for however long we are together. I allow the dogs space and time to get use to the environment which helps build trust. I’m with your pet the whole day if necessary.

About: I've been surrounded by animals for 30+ years. My experience runs deep and hands-on. I spent a year working on a farm. Fun fact: I've successfully delivered three litters of puppies — every single one survived and thrived. At home I have two cats and two large senior dogs, all fixed, up to date on their meds, and flea-free. Caring for senior pups every day means I know firsthand how to handle slower walks, medication schedules, achy joints, and the extra patience and gentleness our older companions deserve. What you can count on from me: reliability, genuine love for your animal, and someone who treats your pet like the soul they are. I'll follow your routines to the letter, keep you updated, and make sure your furry family member feels safe and happy while you're away. So whether your pet is a bouncy puppy, a dignified senior, or somewhere in between, I'm calm, confident, and capable in just about any situation. I'd be honored to care for yours. 🐾 Pet care isn't an afterthought for me — it's woven into my daily rhythm. I already care for my own animals every morning and evening, so feeding times, litter scooping, medication schedules, and check-ins are simply part of how my days are built. Adding your pet to that routine feels natural, not like an extra errand. I keep a flexible schedule that lets me be reliably present throughout the day, so I can accommodate everything from quick drop-in visits to longer sessions and consistent walking times. I'm happy to match whatever cadence your pet is used to, whether that's a strict feeding window, mid-day company, or a steady morning-and-evening routine. Most importantly, I show up when I say I will. You'll always know your pet is being cared for on schedule, every time. In my own home, your pet joins a calm, animal-friendly environment with my two cats and two gentle senior dogs — all fixed, vaccinated, on their meds, and flea-free. I keep food, medications, and anything hazardous safely out of reach, maintain clean litter and feeding areas, and can give a nervous or new pet their own quiet space to settle in. If separation is ever needed, I'm comfortable crating or sectioning off rooms so every animal stays safe and stress-free. In your home, I treat your space with the same care I'd want for my own. I follow your instructions exactly — entry, alarm codes, feeding, litter, medication, and lock-up — and I keep doors and gates secured so there's no risk of a pet slipping out. I stay alert to your pet's behavior and comfort, and I'll always reach out right away if anything seems off. Whether at my place or yours, my goal is simple: a safe, clean, loving environment where your pet feels secure and you feel completely at ease. 🐾

About: A natural born caretaker, I’ve taken care of Dogs, cats, birds and kids most of my life. I was also a full time Realtor for 10 years so I’m familiar with navigating households in a professional manner. I live a sober, simple, happy life and if we seem to be a good fit, I would love to help care for your pets and your home as if they were my own. 🙏💕✌️ My availability is open right now. I am new to the area but have my own transportation so I’m more than willing to travel when and where needed. I would care for pets in YOUR home. I am confident in my abilities to both pet and house sit as I was a housekeeper/mom for 25 years, a realtor for 9, and business owner so I’m very respectful of others and their homes. I have been a pet owner most of my life. Also did pet sit regularly for my moms 2 dogs for past year and LOVED it 🥰. I very naturally keep a neat home, follow a schedule and tend to others needs easily.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
