“Sharon and Albert did a great job looking after our pups. One of my dogs was not feeling well, but Sharon took great care of him and kept him eating and comfortable. Thanks!”

“Elizabeth boarded our 2 dogs (- Bulldog and a high energy young Cattle dog) for 7 days while we were on vacation. Excellent communication! I loved seeing the daily pictures of them and knowing they were in great hands while we were away. Our dogs are on day 2 of sleeping after boarding. ?. We will definitely request Elizabeth for upcoming/future stays.”

“Melissa and her family and pets were wonderful and took excellent care of my dog when I had to go out of town. She is easy to communicate with and sends regular updates which is appreciated. I can highly recommend her.”

“Alexa is the best dog sitter you could possibly find. I get feedback photos of my dog enjoying her stay every day. She goes above and beyond to accommodate her clients and my dog loves her so much. In fact, I think my dog is very sad today because Alexa is not here.”

“Michelle and dave are great pet sitters. Franklin had a fabulous time for two weeks in their care. They are very sweet people who took a true interest in our dog and sent me several pictures along the way. “Nick was amazing with our doggie!! We did a pre-meet as well to make sure it was a great fit. Left Noa there for 12 days. He always sent pictures to us which made our day. She was allowed on the couch and even the bed. Highly recommend Nick!! Cannot thank him enough! ♥️”

“Shelly and her family took great care of my big, rambunctious, teenage Doberman mix. He is good natured but can high energy and pushy - Shelly was totally unfazed and confident with him which made me feel at ease with leaving him with her. I picked up a happy, tired, and well-mannered boy - seems that Shelly’s older dogs were great playmates and role models for him, which was a great added bonus. I’ll definitely be bringing him back when I have to travel in the future!”

“This was Maisie’s first time away for more than a few hours. She is a young golden retriever and can be a bit nervous. Sara and Jake took great care of her and sent us many pictures and videos so we could rest assured during her stay. They took fantastic care of her and we were so happy leaving her with a family in their home. She got loads of attention and plenty of supervised outdoor play on their beautiful property. We could relax on our trip knowing she was happy and well cared for. We highly recommend Sara without reservation and will definitely use her again!”

“Noah was great! Both my hyperactive puppy and more staid golden retriever appeared happy in the many photos he sent, and when I picked them up. They seemed to get a lot of attention, and Noah seems nice, caring and unflappable.”

“Matt was able to watch my mini Aussie Holly last minute on the day of. He took her on a walk, sent pictures of her during her stay, and was quick to respond to any text messages. Holly was in great spirits the next day when I went to pick her up. Overall good experience, would recommend, and would use again in the future. Thanks Matt!”

“Colleen and her husband are lovely people and treated our Maltipoo like he was their own. She is very knowledgeable and intuitive and a real dog lover. My little dog even looked back at her when we got into the car! What a lucky find 🐶”

About: We've had Golden Retrievers since 2005 and LOVE Goldens. We currently have three Goldens - Red (age 6), Max (age 5), and Riley (age 3). We often dog sit for our family and friends that have Goldens and I love it so much, I decided to start a Rover account to do it for others that have Golden family members and need a fun, reliable place for them to go when they travel or need boarding. I'm a self-employed educational psychologist with a flexible schedule. I often work from home and am off over the summer and during school holiday breaks. We have three Golden Retrievers (ages 3, 5,and 6) who get a lot of activity. We have a huge fenced back yard, and a fenced front yard, and play fetch every day out back with the ball thrower. We also go on walks around the neighborhood. We have a doggy door, and the dogs go in and out at their leisure. Our dogs are a major part of our family. They're always with us. They sleep in my bed. Your golden(s) can sleep in my bed or room, too, or in a crate if that's what they're used to. We also have two kids (age 11 and 8), so your dog must be good with kids, as well as with other dogs.

“We cannot rave too much about Irina's care for our Cassie. Irina communicated every step of the way, took Cassie running and swimming and sent us some of the best pics ever. Irina is a keeper! Six stars.”

“Alicia was great, she kept us up to date the whole time. Maxine seem to do very well there. Hopefully Maxine will have the pleasure of staying again in the future. Thanks!!”
