House Sitting in Calvary

“Emily is absolutely wonderful!! She has done overnight stays in my home multiple times over the last year. During the year, I have acquired quite a few more pets then her first time sitting last summer. This visit Emily stayed in my home for two and a half weeks. She got thrown a few curve balls this visit and took them all in stride. First, my travel mates decided to leave a day early, I contacted her and on very short notice she was able to come a day early. Then right before I left, I found 2 abandoned kittens, I knew I wasn't going to be able to get them in anywhere on such short notice, so decided to keep them until I got back and then explore options for placement/adoption. Then one of my pets (a guinea pig) developed an abscess which warranted a trip to the ER vet, medication twice daily and a follow-up with his primary (exotic) vet. When she noticed a change in the guinea pig, she immediately contacted me and she was able to get him treatment. Without her close eye and swift intervention, things may not have turned out so well as a guinea pigs health can be quite fragile. She has been my pet sitter for a year, and during that time she has built bonds and relationships with my pets and knows their personalities, behaviors and preferences. She is able to quickly identify any changes. She is always very professional and communicates daily via texts and frequently sends pictures/videos. She takes great care of my pets and she always leaves my home neat and tidy. It is so nice to come home to happy, healthy pets and a clean house after being away. I can not speak highly enough about her! She is wonderful! I would recommend her for any and all of your pet sitting needs.”

About: Throughout my life, I have always been drawn to animals. I have grown up interacting with dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens, and more. In 2016, my family dog, Cayson, entered my life. Through caring for him, my love for animals intensified, as well as my caretaking skills. In my career, I am a caregiver, and that definitely spills over into how I take care of animals: with love, understanding, and care. I am currently working part-time as a CNA, so my weeks are relatively flexible. I have reliable transportation and I’m willing to travel to best accommodate owners. “I would recommend Andrew to anyone and have no reservations booking him again. My two adult pitbulls adore Andrew. I'm borderline concerned that they like him more than me. Andrew was in contact with me everyday I was away. He sent videos and photos as well as exact times when they started and ended walks. Additionally Andrew asked permission before doing things. Despite being a fairly relaxed person with people using the amenities, I truly appreciated Andrew asking for my consent prior to using them. About: Although my profile is new to Rover, I am well versed in the experience for years. My mother has been a Rover sitter since I was a child and I have much experience with her going to help at clients houses. I have experience with dogs of all ages from birth to end of life, as well as cats. I am an avid animal lover and owner of exotic pets as well. I have so much in depth experience with dogs growing up on a homestead, and many of those experiences involved emergencies. I know what signs to look for to make sure your dog is safe and healthy, and will always err on the side of complete caution. I have a strong respect for safety and health and want your dog to not only be taken care of but observed in depth to make sure they are getting everything they need from me. About: I grew up on a farm where I learned about the care for many different animals. I’ve pet sat for others since I was 16 and have been raising my own fur babies for almost 7 years now. About: As an aspiring vet, it is my duty to ensure the health and welfare of any animal in my care. About: I’ve been a dog and cat groomer for 4 years. I grew up on a farm taking care of all the animals from horses, cows, pigs, chickens , dogs , cats , turkeys etc. I’m very patient with animals who take more time to get to know new people who come into their lives and I love my senior animals who take a little longer on our walks :) I just moved to Florida from Arizona. About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I've been dog sitting for over a year and had my own dogs for more than 7 years. Caring for animals genuinely makes me happy, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I don't see Rover as just a job, it's more like a hobby that I really enjoy. About: I’m an animal lover who’s all about making pets feel safe, happy, and spoiled while their humans are away. Whether your dog loves long walks, fetch, naps, or nonstop attention, I’m here for it. Expect pictures and updates (i know how hard it is to be away!!!) I work as a teacher here in Tallahassee so my hours are very good with dog sitting! I’m always up early to feed them and then i’m home at a decent time to walk them and feed them! I have two cats and we are in an apartment and they have plenty of toys and fun! When I stay at a clients home I make sure to treat it and their pet as my own. I always clean up and make sure you come home to a beautiful house and a taken care of pet!

About: I trained canine assistance dogs for 9 months and have over 25 years of experience. I’m very good with all types and personalities when it comes to our furry companions Working on switching my career path right now since there is a shift to corporate medicine in animal hospitals and as support staff I lost the feeling of being supported, or properly compensated myself. I recently started watching my neice from 6-4 Monday through Friday. Sometimes I will do delivery driving at night, but only if that is ok with you! I also have my medical marijuana card. Despite that review that says I agreed not to, I have never negotiated this. I’m an anxious, insomniac with cyclical vomiting syndrome. Some days I would not be ok without it🥺 I apologize if that does not work for anybody, but one must take care of themselves before they can care for others. This actually isn’t lucrative enough with my schedule. I ONLY do this because animals are my passion!!! Feel free to ask me any questions at all! I really am an open book! I have a 3/3 townhouse set up with lots of room for walks. Unfortunately there is no fence, but it is a very pet friendly environment.
